Audio Addiction Ltd Review

Went into to get a stereo system after car stopped working. Had everything under my hood replaced and mechanic said the only thing he could think of was how the system was hooked up.

I would definitely recommend them. Hector was great at installing a new audio system for me!! Will be back

I would like to begin by pointing out that I have a few years of experience in car audio sales and know the business well. My experience was flawless I was able to see first had the quality of the work, professionalism of the installer and five star customer service from the owner. I was recommenced to Audio Addiction by a close friend and reading the reviews above made me a little uneasy. Needless to say I had to go due to the high recommendation of my friend who works the auto industry. While I was there I noticed high quality tint work with little (tiny) gaps. Very impressive! My install was complex task for myself but the polite installer with several years of experience completed this in about 10 minutes. I also noticed the owner and installer coaching DYI'ers the risk involved and some safety concerns about their vehicles. I really shopped around and looked at all of their competitors such as Rolling Sound, Best Buy, MiamiProAudio and a few more. Needless to say the price point was low and a fraction of what the others quoted me for parts and labor about 60% less. I will highly recommend this place and had to go out of my way to show them how happy I am. Unbeatable prices, friendly service and professional staff. I am going back with my other vehicle soon.

Got my tint done 2 years ago still good no boubles or peeling plan on getting my speakers done here

I had them change out the complete interior in my 96 Impala, there was a misunderstanding about the colors of the material for the seats and they ordered new material and ate the cost. It turned out great. I recommend them for anything u need done

Shady place. I was here for hours getting my tint done, the owner of the audio side, George was trying to sell a car.. After the customer left he proceeded to talk about how he can change numbers to "increase his check", and how he knew there are problems with the car and would not let the customer know. I would run far, far away from this place. Tint guy does good work..

Update: Because they decided to reply finally i'll update, this isn't at all what happened- When I was there a guy came in, early 20's talking about how he wanted to buy a car there, and his down payment. George uses some hole-in-the-wall finance company that they run the customer credit check through, After the customer left George began playing with the finance numbers to see how he could change the price to get the biggest check under what the customer was approved for, In doing so he's adding more money onto the price of the car, and lying about the down payment. He and another guy did this for 20-30 mins..

George is a really nice guy and gave me an amazing deal on a 2013 Nissan Altima! He goes above and beyond for his customers! Highly recommend!! If you want a great deal on a reliable car, go see George and his staff and they will take good care of you! Thank you Audio Addiction.

This was the worst place, got my tint there a month ago and it's already peeling off! They noticed it was peeling when I picked it up and said to bring it in next week and they would fix 2 of the windows, I brought it back and owner denied ever saying that. Awful.

So far since I ve lived in FL for the past 6 years I ve dealt with Audio Addiction. They never disappoint. I ve been thru 3 different vehicles already and they installed my subs all 3 times.. I m going today for my 4th vehicle; Just bought a 2014 Dodge Charger yesterday. Can t fully enjoy it until I drive around Jax with my two 12s knockin in the back .......... I highly recommend Audio Addiction forreal.

Been using this place for almost 2 decades and they always have plenty of options and deals. If they don't have it they can get it for you. I recommend checking them out if you have any audio needs for cars, boats, RVs, etc.

I called hour before showing up to get my son's speakers installed. They told me to come on in and they could install it today. I called my son to make sure he could meet me over there before going to work. I called them back and adv we would be there in 30. We got there and this one guy decided he wanted everything.. Guy at desk said he can't do us now because they are dropping bricks vs our speck. Excuse me! You don't conduct business in that manor!

In response.. You did not tell us as you say multiple times. We were waiting to even talk to someone when my son and I got there. And yes it was 30 minutes per time I got off phone with you and me getting there. I know I will tell people to avoid you at all cost!

Great experience!! The guy behind the counter was very helpful and honest. He explained to me what I did and did not need. They had the best prices I ve seen. The installers were professional and made sure the in dash looked like it belongs. I recommend them for any of you audio needs!

Treated y wife poor ad was very disrespectful. Guy said he wouldn't work on her car because she got upset hat they made her wait a hour when it was suppose to be a appointment. Too many other places to spend your hard earned money.

They did a great job installing our new audio system with blue tooth in just under an hour. We had bought our system on Amazon and didn't think to buy the am/fm tuner. Since they didn't carry one there, they offered to install it for free after we picked one up. Even better they were really nice about our hyper toddler running around the waiting room while our stereo was installed.

This place was awesome! They gave me the best affordable stereo and installed it incredibly quickly!

Jay installed cdplayer and might I add he did a great job fast forward two weeks later it shut off not due to his work but a cdplayer I purchase on my own that went bad , I called back and the guy told me to bring it back to see what was wrong , jay stands by his work I am very pleased to say I m a happy customer he uninstalled the old one and replaced it with a smile I would recommend to any ones who comes to jacksonville fl he is the best the overall visit was awesome !!!!!

Dropped off my friend's car at 12pm. Should have been done at 2pm. Went back to pick up the car around 4pm. The car wasn't even there. Told him it'd be done in an hour. Went back, car still wasn't done or there. Finally got it done and back at almost 7pm!!

Extremely unprofessional staff; I think the staff was high (serious). Screwed up the audio install, damaged speaker covers, scratched & scuffed up interior, didn't tune the speakers, left old speakers and screws scattered all around the inside of the car. Cheap prices, but you get what you pay for. AVOID.

Great Audio place... took care of my Range Rover and Bmw when everybody else was scared to touch them! Hector is the Man!

Audio addiction was by far the best experience I've had buying a vehicle and getting window tint/audio work done. Every employee had a great attitude and made sure I was 100% sastified before I left. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Came down from myrtle beach to buy a car we saw online. The sales man was top notch. And the owner did us real justice. Threw in a special alarm and came down on price.

Took a 30 minute drive to them and sat and waited in line for another 1hr for them to tell me my TV won't fit, the only way it will fit is if they cut my dashboard. They just wanted more money,I know the TV fit in my dashboard because the person I bought it from was going to install it just didn't have the right harness

This was the worst car deal ever. The owner George is extremely shady. Manipulative and very untrustworthy. Save yourself a headache. If you see a car you like keep driving. Because what's internally wrong. Won't be disclosed.

CCs Tint shop is located inside Audio addiction, they tinted my windshield and did a great job, only issue is they charged me tax on tint which I have never seen before.

They were very helpful and HONEST with me and only sold me what I needed thank you ALL

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHADY PLACE!!!!
My stereo install required 3 trips and over 14hrs to get it wrong - and kept trying to sell me more equipment to fix the problem. Sounded horrible, alternator sound coming though the speakers, constant hiss. Finally took it to a reputable audio tech who pretty much ripped out everything they had put in. Wasted my time and money at this place. Pretty sure this is just a drug front

THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE, THEY HAVE MADE IT SUCH A HASSEL AND MY HUSBAND NOW HAS A CRAPPY VEHICLE AND WE ARE HAVING TO FIGHT WITH THEM ALONG SIDE OF THE FINANCE COMPANY FOR WHAT THEY DID. DO NOT GO HERE... EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I came in because i needed a certain plug and play kit to plug my OEM upgraded radio to my current wire harness and was treated like im not even worth his time , didnt even bother to come look at the part needed or anything he just looked at me and said "we cant do anything about it" like worddd u dont even know what i need anyway i cant imagine how terrible thier customer service is now if you DO want to install a audio system or do any kind of work.
Went down the road to a different audio store had in stock and were very helpful.

George has been in business since 2002. I use them for all of my automotive needs. I d give them 10, if that was an option. Very caring staff

Went to get speakers changed in my truck dude said be 20 min 3 hours later I left and went some where else to get it done in less then 45 min. Won't waste my time with them again after this review

Since I can't reply to you comment the DUDE I talked to said it would only be 20 min till they can start working on my truck that was my mistake I didn't make that clear for you. And yes I went to rolling sound as well and they had about 40 sets of those pioneer speakers sitting on the floor I didn't want. And yes I did end up ordering those speakers and I did go some where and had speakers installed after a few weeks didn't like the sound of them so I ended ordering some I knew how they would sound and installed them a few weeks later when a buddy came over to help

I took my truck here and the service and price was excellent. The technician worked tirelessly to figure out the issue with my vehicle. When the issue was found they quickly ordered the part to address the issue and installed it at my convenience. They were very transparent with their pricing and service. Take your vehicle here for sound accessories.

Do not buy a vehicle from these Crooks. Their vehicles are garbage and they will lie to make a sale. Broken promises and broken cars. They can t even get the registration done before the temp tag expires. Buyer beware. The vehicle I purchased was in the shop within a week of driving off the lot, and the engine was blown within 5 weeks. They covered everything up to look good and lied about everything. They promised to replace the engine then never followed up or returned any calls. More lies. They should be ashamed of the way they do business! No ethics

Awesome place for getting ur music installed in ur car

I went there with my brand new vehicle to get an audio system installed. I spent 2000$ on what I was told "the best system". First of all my installer was at the time a 16 year old boy who even though has been working on cars for a while from what I was told simply did not have the experience to work on my brand new vehicle. He also just did the install nobody even tried to fine tune the speakers onse installed. The problem of alternator noise came up after the install, I went back to the shop at least 5 times and I was told I have to spend more and more money but the issue did not get resolved. After a while a friend of mine checked the cables and found the supplying cable from my battery almost falling apart which could have led to the complete frying of my electrical systems of my car ...... Second of all my "best systems" speakers started blowing up one by one and when I went back there a year later to see if there is going to be any difference in their effort to fix my alternator noise I was told..... "This looks like a clean job get somebody else to fix it for you" ... Extremely bad service I would never go back there again not to mention my system sounds like crap now and I will probably have to change everything in it.... Stay away spend your money elsewhere

They had exactly what I needed for $50 cheaper. Fairly swift service also.

Horrible service, guys are nice at first and I m sure they try to do excellent work but that s not the case here. Brought my vehicle to have my subs looked at and figured out I need a sub replaced no biggie. I bought a replacement sub when they went to install it (I didn t know this at the time) the technician crossed wires with the other sub and blew it out as well. They promised they would order another and replace it free of charge when I called back my ticket had been thrown away and the owner refused to homer the promise made by the manager and pretty much said tough luck. Took my subs to a real Audio expert who told me what happened and how they fried my sub. I don t care for arguments but when multiple people make a promise your company should honor that.

It seems like a quick install and sales service. However they had to reprogram an alarm remote before I left. The price seemed a little much, but hopefully there are no issues. Or else I will try and get a refund. Y'all.

Before I even begin listing what was wrong with the car I bought from these people, let me begin by saying that these shady conmen ROLLED BACK THE ODOMETER WHICH IS ILLEGAL
A month after a bought it
-The air went out
-The right door handle broke
-They said they replaced the shocks but they used junkyard parts, so the shocks were terrible and the car always shifted to the right.
-I took it to multiple mechanics and they all told me that I was screwed over.
-Most of the parts in it were from the junkyard
-The front wipers scratch the front window
-The trunk wont stay open
-No airbags
-Horn doesn't work
-So many more problems I would be here all night to be honest
I tried taking the car back to them and they wouldn't take it back or even fix one of the MANY problems it had. That car is deathtrap, and I was stuck with it for a year because I didn't know much about cars. Im financing a car now from a CERTIFIED dealer with a warranty and I couldn't be happier with it. Moral of the story, if your gonna buy a used car, buy from a certified dealer. Do not buy from these shady conmen. I can't even sell the stupid thing for more than 500 dollars. The dealership I bought my current car from wouldn't even take the piece of trash. Currently trying to speaking to some lawyers to see if I can get these people in trouble for what they did. ROLLING BACK THE ODOMETER IS ILLEGAL. Do not buy from these people, save your money, these are criminals and the only guarantee these guys offer is that your car is guaranteed to be a piece of junk thats not even worth fixing

Lol audio addiction? More like drug addiction. Pretty sure this is a front just so they can use the place to do their drug business. Never buy a vehicle from here they end up having tons of things wrong with it and then YOU end up footing the bill for it. This place is shady AF and extremely unprofessional. If I could rate this place less than one star I would.

I had my remote starter installed at this location 3-4 years ago. It still works no issues. I also had one of my other cars tinted like 1 1/2 ago. I highly recommend this location for any radio alarm installation.

Last year I had an issue with my current radio so I went a purchased a new on so they can install it, after 5 minutes in looking into my radio the tech found I did not need a new radio it was just a safety feature that come with my radio. The tech fixed it in seconds and saved me $$$!!

Nothing shady about this business!!!

This place is a rip off! They sell products on a high end and give you a 3 month warranty knowing the product is faulty. They sell defective merchandise to customers knowing they will incur a problem after the warranty timeframe. I returned several times to have my car system repaired or changed out and they kept telling me to return which after so many times I couldn t as it conflicted with my work schedule. The product is completely out now and they said it s defective product they don t sell it anymore. The Owner is a young money hungry dude working under his Father. Stay away from this business!!

I have a 2005 Acura Tsx w/ Navigation so there was no aux and no way for me to play music through my phone. I needed an iPod integration, as well as installing sub and amp.

Hector was willing to price match with other competitors, gave me a great deal. He told me everything would be finished within two hours and was correct. He asked me where and how I would want things installed, i told him just make it clean. Its HELLA clean, sounds amazing.

Two days later there was an issue with the Aux cord, the manufacturers fault. I called Hector, said it was unusual for that to happen but he apologized immediately, told me he would order a higher quality aux cord and install it for me for free.

Thanks Hector, this is my new go to.

Overpriced and unprofessional. Not the way to get repeat business. I was trying to upgrade the radio in an older vehicle, and being new to installing a radio, I was trying to ensure that what I was buying would be a correct fit. The salesman acted very put out to have to deal with me and had even remarked that I was his toughest customer that day! Yeah because I had to go back 3 times to get the correct hardware because they didn't take 2 minutes to help a customer. Same unit I bought was about $40 cheaper on amazon and at Wal-mart! He did price match, but acted like he was doing me the favor. Buyer Beware.

If you want a quality sound system they are the way to go, just tell them what you want and they read your mind and make it happen, in my case they always went above and beyond, I took my previous car, and now my new truck and the work is amazing and 100% high quality, highly recommended!

Super chill staff, installed a subwoofer and amp on my 335i and did an extremely clean job. The cables look great, everything was organized well and it sounds fantastic! Would highly recommend Audio Addiction for anyone who needs anything done for their car. They will go out of their way to help you out!

I had a stereo installed at Audio Addiction.. from day one nothing but problems. I went back several times And was told I would have to wait for the owner to come back from vacation. I was also told they were going to order me a new stereo come back Tuesday. I did come and the owner he knew nothing about it. I come to find out the stereo installed was not done correctly. they do not know how to install a Mastro kit correctly. I spoke with the owner again and said I was going elsewhere to have a new stereo installed by a company that knew what they were doing. He agreed to refund the money for his stereo. I went for the refund and was told I would get back three hundred dollars. The stereo. was four and forty three dollars . They also broke a switch on my.dash and scratched the dash. Please do not do business with this company.

Bought a stereo for my sister here a year ago, well actually 1 day before a year. The pioneer unit had a bad cd player and would not take a CD. We went 1 day before the warranty expired to have it fixed. He honored the warranty even though he was going to be out the money due to him not being able to return the unit on his side, obviously due to how long we waited. They do a great job. And they stand by their service and warranty. Owner is a stand up guy.
