If I could give no stars I would. Cable has been out twice in a month both times called 4 times and waited an hour before hanging up the phone. When I finally got through to someone last time cable was out they stated they would have someone come to the house. They never showed and a few days later we somehow got our cable back. Now dealing with same thing tried calling and tried the on-line chat and nothing. This service absolutely sucks!!!!

This is a terrible company to do business with. My credit card number changed and I called Customer Service three different times to give them the new number and was on hold so long I had to give up. Tonight, I used their auto payment and was told my payment is late. I was able to pay my bill, but not able to talk to Customer Care and have my questions answered.

I have used Atlantic Broadband for years because, for now, it is my only option. Whenever I have a problem, it is always a frustrating experience to try and get it resolved.

The only way I knew Altanta bought metrocast was when I tried to call metrocast to find out why my service is going down multiple times a day especially in peak traffic times. This NEVER Happened with metrocast. I have now called 3 times and been on hold for over a hour, someone is supposed to come out but based on these google reviews its atlantas fault and its not just me. What a piece of crap. My metrocast service worked for months with no problems. I just switched to metrocast since frontier bought out ATT and that went to crap. Atlanta never sent us anything saying they bought metrocast.

Ever since I was ambushed with the surprising news of Atlantic Brokeband taking over Metrocast, I mysteriously started to experience internet issues. I was without internet for almost 3 weeks because I refused to wait on the phone for 3 hours to speak with a representative to address THEIR, not mine, problem. I tried using their callback feature but surprise, what do you know, they never called back. After finally getting through, I set up an appointment for them to come to my house two days later. After telling them to call my wifes phone later that day to set up a time and specifically telling them not to call my phone because I sleep during day for night work, they blew my phone up and finally called my wife to tell them they couldn't locate my house. While I applaud their quick response that day, the wrong day, I was sleeping and no one else was home and it was the complete opposite of what I told them. 4 days later they came out and said I had a bad cable going to my modem. Weird. 4 weeks, 3 modems, 2 cables, and countless phone calls later I was back online.

Now tonight my internet stops working so when I attempt to call two numbers of theirs listed online, I get silence for about 10 seconds then a tone followed by a disconnected line. I try logging into my account online using my phone's data and it says my account is suspended and for me to call. Okay, 3 attempts later and I finally get connected to their automated system alerting me that ALL of Connecticut and elsewhere's internet will be down for 5 hours for maintenance. Outrageous. This should be criminal. I will be spending my free time tomorrow exploring elsewhere for internet service providers. Talk about wanting to make a good first impression with it's newly acquired customer base. Wow. The worst part of all of this is that I have to pay them. They should be paying me. If I wanted to get screwed I would hit up Craigslist or go to my local massage parlor. Oh wait, can't go on Craigslist. ........NO INTERNET!!!!!!!

Called atlantic broadband, wanted paper Bill's. They told me would cost $1.00, I said ok. Customer service went on to tell me if I log in it automatically reverts to paperless billing. So they dont want me to log onto their site. Not worth my time to keep calling wanting to get paper bills

I have been trying to resolve my EXTREMELY SLOW speed issues (see attached screenshots) and have had no luck for a week. This service is completely useless to me. I cannot get online. I have been hung up on 5x. Last week I was told a new modem was being shipped, that a repair person would drop off at my door the following day, practicing no contact service. I am still waiting. If this review catches anyone's attention within AtlanticBB, would you please contact me? I discontinued svc with Consolidated Communications for this very same reason. If I can't get this resolved soon, I will be lodging a complaint with the FCC.

hands down the worst internet company along with comcast. they dont care about their customer's and their internet is garbage. i long for the day fios becomes available in my area because every resident of my state would immediately cancel atlantic broadbands joke of a service

Over charge, their WiFi shuts itself off and goes out whenever it feels like and all they do is replace your modem with another refurbished one that still does the same thing. We bought our own brand new and it still happens. They told us we d need to upgrade, so we re paying $96 for WIFI ONLY! Supposed to be able to support 10 devices. We have 5 running durning the day. 3 laptops for the kids for school and 2 smart TVs that auto connect. It is still happening!!! It can t even support the ones I have. This is the worst company and we re forced to use them because all the phone and cable companies divided locations and only service certain areas. Worst company!!!

So far....SO BAD. Metrocast was fine. ABB came in and messed up everything. Service drops every 30 seconds during high traffic times. I'm currently on hold for 35 minutes. Terrible customer service!

This company is one of the worst I have had the experience of dealing with in many years. Our home internet works about 40% of the time and when it does, it is spotty at best. When you try to call, expect a 30-40 min hold with recording saying higher than expected call volumes. I have called many times and have never reached a real person. I end up hanging up. I went into the office yesterday to cancel my service and explained my experience and they simply said that calling is not the best choice due to high call volumes and to always come into the office. All set with this company. Won't be back and would never recommend.

I have been on the phone for almost 3 days. NO ANSWER! Your problem is... ..TOO MUCH CONTROL of the industry. Your product sucks and your customer service is even worse. Metrocast in NH was wonderful, very few problems and (miracle of miracles) a real person would pick up within a minute. Now internet drops periodically, and 15 minutes at least on hold to get someone on the phone.

Yesterday marks the third time that I had NO phone...

Yesterday marks the third time that I had NO phones or internet service, since Metrocast sold to Atlantic!!! Using my cell phone, I used up my minutes, holding for hours, creating an overage, which cost me!! You just cannot get past customer service, IF you do get that far. TERRIBLE service. I got up at 6am this morning and finally got a live voice to send a signal to my wifi to clear it.
They do not deserve even a one star. Totally unacceptable service!!! So tired of listening to their music on hold!!!!!
