There are four main restaurants to eat meat in Tolosa. This is one of the well-known ones (probably the best) but all are worth the visit.

The menu is quite straightforward: few entrees and then the star home fish: the T-Bone steak. You probably won't eat a better one on earth so, please, book well in advance if you plan to be in the area.

Whenever we go to Barcelona to see the family we go to Tolosa for 2 days just for this restaurant.
We are lovers of good meat and frankly this is the address to do absolutely.
It is my cousin who advised me casa julian, do not stop on the storefront or even the interior because you will really miss a great meal, warm and family.

Curious place, full of soot and old bottles. Informal treatment They recommended a single entree for two, the grilled artichokes and they were delicious. The chop was at its point and very good but if you are someone with appetite and with a single entree for two, you do not fill up. The peppers a esquisitez. We had to ask for a second chop. Although there is a 1,800kg chop on the bill, which is a bit odd for two, the feeling was not such. We ended up eating cheese (very good too). They have a much more current space.

There is not much to say about the steak and peppers. They've done everything right. Apart from that the list of starters and sides is limited and there is no need to charge 3 euro per asparagus. Also the fact that anything is served individually gives you the craves but also leaves the table rather empty. Good and familiar service. Coffee was offered.

It is a very charming place, the whole room surrounded by bottles, and the ceiling full of wooden drawers. It has an old taste, like an old tavern. The chop and the piparras are great. The very rich candied peppers. The cheesecake is delicious.

The interior decor with a sense of tradition and history and the steaks baked in the old oven in front of the eyes were so delicious that the atmosphere was combined.
As well as steak, and dessert, all the food is delicious the best restaurants
Recommended. If you are near, we recommend making reservations in advance.

Iconic place full of dusty liquor bottles (made on purpose), old shelves and walls that are peeling off paint (part of its charm). Short menu with 6 or 7 starters and the cutlet with the second roasted peppers. We ordered almost all the entrees and the second chop. All delicious and what surprised me a lot are the peppers, THE BEST I HAVE EVER TASTED !! 100% recommended place!

Second time I have the pleasure to eat here. The meat is excellent, very very tasty and just cooked. Exquisite roasted peppers and we tried the mushrooms with yolk, which was to repeat and repeat. The attention from the staff was very good. Great variety in the cellar.

A real belter of an experience. Booking essential since new-found fame on TV.

Ambience, staff, decor, experience: flawless. Chatty and friendly staff able to cope with my extremely questionable efforts in Spanish. Full explanation and stories to accompany many of the dishes and the providence of the beef and it's cooking (unaged over an open fire).

Incredible sides and appetizers; the peppers are an absolute delight with an unchanged Basque recipe over 60 years old - mop up the juices with your bread, amazing! The same goes for the simple tomato salad. Ingredient-centric cooking, which delights.

The txuleton was incredible. Slight smokiness from the cooking over a wood fire, fat rendered and in places crispy, the main cuts butter-tender. For me, I've had better steak, not many mind you. The almost black flesh and yellow fat of aged galician beef is impossible to beat (same cow as Casa Julien, but dry-aged).

The boss man was a delight.

The wine choices huge and delicious.

The coffee was superb.

I want to go back again and again.

Well-known restaurant for the fame of its steak. The steak is true that it is one of the best I have ever tasted, but what I am clear about is that these peppers are by far the best I have ever tasted.

Authentic and cozy place with very attentive and friendly staff.

I have eaten countless chops, but I can assure you that as much gustos and well done as this head, somebody out of the ordinary, apart from the asparagus, peppers and the ham excellent, everything, highly and highly recommended, do not miss those who you like the meat !!!

Without a doubt, an exceptional place that every lover of good food should visit at least once in their life.
Charming place, not very extensive menu, but with the basics to eat like Sundays in heaven.
Without a doubt, those of us who like meat, there is no way to describe it, you just have to go and try it.
Exquisite meat, unbeatable peppers, magnificent starters, unbeatable wine cellar and unbeatable attention. Without a doubt, a place that I try to visit whenever I have the opportunity.
