Deputy clerk Peggy Barker should be ashamed of the low level of customer service and lack of professionalism she exudes while doing her job. And to think she'll probably take over as treasurer soon...what a shame. Since there's no one for her to answer to, she does what she wants, when she wants, including taking many passive aggressive verbal jabs and making snide remarks to the taxpayers that pay her salary. I will be filing a complaint with the Virginia Treasurers Association and the Attorney General's office regarding her unethical and unprofessional conduct.
