Amazing customer service! They were very knowledgeable over the phone with insurance information and straight up about the fees. After my appointment, they also gave me a list of dentists in the area that would take my insurance. Could not be happier :)

I've been to plenty of dentists in my 52 years of being. This is by far the best group of people you could want working on your teeth. My teeth cleaning was perfect. A filling i had done on the surface of a tooth matches so well that i can't even see it, flawless. Their office is clean, modern and very relaxing.

Artisan is the best dentist I have ever had. I had to get in by the end of the year and they made sure to get me in and fix a filling. The people are all very nice and knowledgeable. I would recommend this dentist to anyone in the Madison area.

Wasn't in the waiting room for more than a minute, and the whole visit was super quick - I was never kept waiting. Every one of the staff I met was friendly and inviting; great people, and professional. Great office space - clean, well-designed.

The place was lovely, staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was done efficiently, but not rushed. Really enjoyed my experience...cant usually say that about the dentist!

*03.36.21*UPDATE* Gold. Standard. Dentistry. I am now 2 years on their own insurance plan (no employer option) and will be moving 2.5 hrs away and will continue to return here for their services.

*UPDATE* This place is wonderful. I've been here twice for different procedures, once with insurance and once without. All costs were spelled out clearly in both contexts. Welcoming and friendly staff. Efficient. Get patients involved by explaining what they are doing, and encourage questions.

I just had my first appointment here and it was fantastic. I never thought that going to the dentist would put me in a good mood for the rest of the day! Everyone I interacted with was really pleasant and professional and I'll definitely be going back.

Amazing service! Love the way they refurbished the place, with air filters, during the covid pandemic to make it safer for everyone.

Great office, central location downtown with plenty of parking (bike and car). Cutting-edge technology and tools, everyone is friendly and helpful.

I had previously given Artisan only 2 stars because I was disappointed with my first experience. After reading my review, Artisan contacted me and provided me with an additional appointment to review some of the things I was put off by (i.e. gum disease, prosthetic teeth and new retainers). After going back, I was treated very kindly and respectfully and felt that Dr. Anderson explained some concerning areas and suggested ways I could approach my dental hygiene better. She also talked with me in depth about problems I'm likely to have in the future but has been good about keeping me informed and didn't make me feel like I had to spend thousands of dollars on my teeth. My second cleaning was quick and painless and I felt much better about returning in the future. I was impressed with the steps Artisan took to make sure I was happy with the services I received and went the extra distance to listen to my concerns. I'm holding out for my last star until I've gone back a few more times but overall I'm very happy with Artisan!

Always enjoy their kind, gentle approach. Destiny is the best dental hygienist I've had anywhere. Artisan provides an elevated dentistry experience.

I have spent my entire life avoiding the dentist, and would only go in when absolutely necessary. I always left in worse condition than I arrived. The experiences were terrifying (and I was a kid who didn't scare easily).

I have been to Artisan Dental twice in the last month and had EXCEPTIONAL service.

Staff is delightful. Office is new and very clean. Every single staff member there has been extremely pleasant to interact with. I ask a hundred stupid questions and never once have I heard a shred of annoyance.

Would recommend to anyone who asked.

Amazing! This clinic is living up to the Isthmus standard of being a community service. Not only do they have a beautiful and relaxing office space (I felt like I was on holiday!!) but they also care about your well-being and are working to serve the local community. They collect used toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes, etc and are aiming to recycle them into a park bench. They donated money on my behalf to a local non-profit of my choice just because I was a new patient. They also offer quarterly local wellness classes for their patients here on the Isthmus!! Everything was high-tech, clean, and welcoming- not like your usual doctor or dentist visit. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. My hygienist explained everything before she started and kept checking back to make sure I was comfortable. It felt more like I was at a salon than the dentist office. To top it all off- my dentist visit was the most painless experience I've ever had and my teeth still have that smooth freshly cleaned feel! Thank you Artisan for turning something so dreadful into a lovely experience! I can't wait until my next visit!

I was delighted with my experience at Artisan Dental. With online forms and straightforward communication via email, it was a breeze to get prepared for my appointment. The location and office space is beautiful, and the level of care I was given by everyone there the hygienist, the dentist, the receptionist made me feel privileged to be a patient; I can say confidently that I'm looking forward to my next appointment.

Very pleasant atmosphere, top-notch work by hygienist Tia, very up-to-the-minute technology, clear presentation of issues and concerns with awesome visual aids -- showing x-rays and photographs, clear billing and guidance on future steps, great presence and professionalism from Dr. Andersen. The best dentist experience I've had.

The atmosphere was spa like and the staff was so friendly, so knowledgeable, so communicative during my cleaning and made excellent and informed suggestions to improve my oral health and overall well-being. Destiny was my hygienist and she could not have been more lovely or talented. As a first time patient here I didn t know what to expect but I m glad to know I will enjoy every future visit.

I was very happy with my visit today. I had Destinee at my hygienist and she was so nice and explained everything she was doing before she did it. They had good safety precautions in place and I felt very comfortable.

I really enjoy the staff at Artisan Dental. I started see Dr. Andersen 3 years ago after not seeing a dentist for over 5 years. I was super scared and nervous and had to get back up to speed with my dental work. All the staff were all so friendly and knowledgeable and went out of their way to make sure was comfortable. Dr. Andersen is so nice and makes sure you are a participant in your dental heath. She doesn't just tell you what she's doing to your teeth but let's you know what to look out for and things to keep in mind for future health and prevention. I can't recommend them enough!

There was a mix up with the services my daughter was supposed to get. Mix ups happen. But they scared my daughter and literally left her in tears, telling her she had a cavity and had to get a shot when that wasn't accurate.

There wasn't much of an apology for the error. She went from enjoying the dentist to no longer trusting them, thinking that they might "trick her" into having to get a shot.

We've been going there for several years, and overall very happy. For me, it wasn't the error that happened this one time after dozens of visits, it was the total lack of recognition of the impact the error had on a child and the desire to rectify it.

So friendly and knowledgeable. I love that they talk to me as they work on my teeth and tell me whats going on. I love not feeling in the dark. Office is clean and bright and all of the staff are friendly.

Everyone at Artisan is so friendly and welcoming, and their calm, helpful, and understanding manner helped me get over a lifetime of dental fear. I'm so happy I found their practice!

I had such a great experience for my first visit. They were extremely thorough and kind everyone from the front desk to the dental hygienist to the dentist. Everything was explained clearly to me, I was made to feel comfortable, they provided education about what they were looking for/at. My hygienist was so gentle and the cleaning was so NOT painful at all, and she was constantly checking in with me to make sure everything felt okay. In the past I ve always felt like my visits to the dentist were full of random scraping without warning and not knowing how things would feel, how long they would last, or what exactly was being done. In contrast this was a surprisingly calm, relaxing experience and genuinely changed how I feel about going to the dentist. The clean, professional, calming look and feel of everything was more like the atmosphere of a spa...seriously. The awesome reviews are totally spot on.

I had not been to the dentist in awhile and knew I needed to get back on schedule. I had been familiar with Dr Andersen before. I searched until I was able to locate her. The experience of the appt. was great. All the staff is very friendly and open to helping and answering questions. The view from the office is great. The cleanliness and modern equipment are fantastic. Everyone went out of their way to make sure you understood everything.

I am so glad I was able to connect with this office. I am sure I am in good hands.
