Waited an hour and a half to get seated. The service and food was great once we were seated and certainly reminded me why my family and I love this place. However, if you are coming for dinner from Friday to the weekend, go with a snack and lots of patience.

Usually I would give this restaurant a 5 all day long, however tonight was truly horrible in more than one way.....first a waiter comes to the table and says we can't serve everything on the menu...there are problems with the gas....ok so he starts telling us what we can order....but then before he even finishes telling us what is available he leaves us and starts talking to the customers on another table. He was clearly confused on so many levels. So then he finally returns to the table and finishes letting us know what foods are available...we begin to order....then all of a sudden he just leaves again. .more time goes by....he finally returns and tells us we can order what we want ....so we do... we finally get our food and nothing and I mean nothing was what we ordered....the meal with the beef and chicken with vegetables on a skewer was suppose to come with cheesy rice and french fries but instead of fries...it came with potato salad... there were only 2 pieces of beef on the skewer and the rest was chicken and vegetables the other 2 entrees that were ordered for my table were completely not what was ordered....but the server insisted it was . So we dropped it we were all so disgusted with the whole thing we just took whatever was given to us....paid the bill and left....a bill of 104.00 with just about everything being not what was ordered....it was the most horrible experience I have ever had at a restaurant......a restaurant that I have told everyone I met about over and over again.in the past
Won't be going back again anytime soon....

Incredibly good food at very reasonable prices. We had some great chicken & beef entrees for $11-16. Had a $26 sirloin steak that was unbelievably good.
Very flavorful sauces and toppings.
Try the calimari apletizer, its unlike any other calimari ive ever had.

The food at this place is incredible. The customer service has always been above and beyond. This is one of my favorite reastaurants in Providence. It's not far from the downtown city, but it's always busy so try to reserve a table ahead of time.

It's probably for the best that this restaurant is 1hr from us. If we lived closer, we'd be in trouble. The flavors in every dish I've tried (there have been many) have satisfied taste buds I didn't even know I had, it's simply phenomenal! They have quite the tantalizing drink selection, the most dangerously delightful dessert options, and of course, an enthralling atmosphere to match! Can't wait for our next reservation!

A fantastic restaurant for ethnic cuisine and high food quality. A trip somewhat off the beaten Providence tourism path will reward you with a delicious and memorable meal. Beware, the portion sizes on almost every menu item are stunningly large, so order accordingly. I personally recommend the ceviche, a type of fish cocktail drenched in lime juice.

This restaurant is one of RIs best eats. The authentic Peruvian food is absolutely Mountbatten watering. The food is hearty and homemade. I had the steak served over a bed of hand cut fries. It was served with an egg on top. Mummy husband had the most incredible chicken over mashed potato and gray. By the description the food sounds simple, but it s sooooooo good! The best food around! Love the appetizers and desserts too. We have been here many times. The asparagus is my husbands favorite side vegetable when it s available. It s perfect! Make a reservation ahead! This place is phenomenal and everyone knows it!

I think this place is a bit overrated. While they gave you large portions, they charged a lot and the food was very salty, over fried, and over-seasoned. It also doesn't remind me of any of the food I had while I was in Peru; It is closer to a Brazilian steakhouse.

Walked in on a Friday night at 8pm, no reservation. Staff said it could be as long as an hour to be seated at a table, but that we were welcome to take does at the bar if they opened up. Waited 15 minutes and got seats at the outside bar on a beautiful evening. The outdoor area is lovely, the staff friendly, and the service quick. We got our food in the time most restaurants bring out appetizers. It was not only delicious but beautifully plated.

Really, a half portion would've been enough. I was stuffed and bright half gone with me. Great lunch the next day. The prices are also super reasonable given the quality and amount of food.

I am so glad this place was suggested to me. The food is truly awesome. Definitely huge servings and we were served quick. Everything just tasted amazing and our server James was superb. Can't believe I used to always drive by this place and never noticed it, but it took me having moved out of RI to actually know of this gem. Definitely worth the almost hour drive.

In my opinion, the best restaurant in the city. Great food with different but delicious flavor profiles and impeccable service. I've recommended Los Andes to many friends and they all agree, a great dining experience. If you visit you won't be disappointed.
