Very delicious food. A large variety of irregular meals that will definitely be enjoyed. The plates are huge so if an appetizer is ordered you most lilely wont finish the main course. Was very impressed with the restaurant, only complaint would be the cramped entrance and struggle finding parking. They do have vale.

It was our first time, we heard good things, and now I believe it, from the front door to back door the staff did a fantastic job , we will be back ,from Coventry RI.

One of Providence s most celebrated restaurants and its quite easy to imagine why. Serving Peruvian and Bolivian fare, Los Andes has a great menu with wide variety of options, and tremendous portion sizes at very reasonable prices. Pretty much everyone walks out with a leftover box - given its hard to restrict yourself to picking just 1-2 things from such a treasure trove of a menu to begin with, and with their portions it s impossible to polish all of it off in 1 sitting!
Their service is exceptional too - super polite and friendly servers and very quick serving time.

I love coming in and grabbing a seat at the bar. Friendly, quick, informative service.

Really great Peruvian food, not the best I've ever had but very close. They have some amazing appetizers though, definitely recommend the calamari!

I was impressed that the food is very good and still sticks true to their Peruvian roots. Yes it s a little fancy but the flavors are on point. We got some pisco sours and tasted great. Then we got some empanada, ceviche to share. I love how tarty the ceviche was- I could eat a whole gallon! For entrees we ordered the prime rib, lomo saltado, and the similar fried rice dish. Everything was delicious!! The prime rib sauce amazing. The lomo saltado big chunks of meat and tasted like Peru. Make sure to make resos.

Great authentic cuisine and atmosphere, the waiters are so knowledgeable, it really makes the whole experience. Loved it

What great service and food! We sat outside on this cool Fall weather and I was personally impressed with the heater lamps that kept me soo warm & cozy with a wonderful view of the pond. The waiters ad staff frequently made their rounds to make sure everything was good. Such wonderful service!

The paella is amazing. But pork shank is so so. Not so flavorful.

For several years now, Los Andes has been my favorite location for that special dinner, that night out, that occassion with friends or a date were you want to enjoy a delicious meal, perfect service and the artistry of a great Chef.

This place is deceptively amazing. You wait in this little bar area and you can sort of see the dining room from there, and then when you walk into the actual dining area it is outdoors under a heated and cooled tent. The food has huge portions of delicious goodness.

This place is AMAZING!!!! From the curbside free Valet, to the greeter, to the person seating you , and the wait staff. You walk in to a very clean , great atmosphere, plenty of room between other visitors dining ,, then you get a menu that is spectacular!! Not to mention the bar there with a GIANT salt water tank with colorful fish and live plants, the management always makes an appearance to each guest to make sure Everything is to your liking!!! You will never leave LosAndies restaurant hungry! I highly recommend this place,, 5

I don't know where to even start. This is the resturant that I can't seem to stop going back to. The food always seems to surprise me. The constant updates to the specials menu. The atmosphere. The great service. Great drinks. Can't beat it. Only problem would be parking but they have valet. Stop reading my review and go there right now.

I recently dined here on a Saturday night and it was amazing. Delicious food and great service. I would recommend to make reservations in advance especially on weekends.

This place was absolutely AMAZING! I can't rant about it enough. Ambience, decor, service, food, literally everything was top notch. Went for an anniversary dinner so we went all out with drinks, appetizers, entrees, and dessert and NOTHING disappointed! I will definitely go back.

Los Andes is so much more than a restaurant - it is a dining experience! Upon arrival, you are greeted by friendly and professional staff who facilitate complimentary valet services. There are 2 dining areas: the first one features authentic and cultural interior decor and offers diners well-lit yet intimate dining. The other option allows diners to eat outside on a well decorated patio that offers a mini pond teeming with beautiful Koi fish and hanging flowers and twinkling garden lights. You really are in for a treat regardless of where you sit. Los Andes is kid friend and handicapped accessible. The drink menu offers a variety of wines, lagers, and mixed drinks - the Pink Sangria is legendary (you're welcome). The menu is a fusion of Peruvian and Bolivian cuisine. The affordable menu features seafood and meat dishes - I suggest the Causa de Limena (it changed my whole life). Portions are more than generous and the take-out option is very simple and efficient. Staff is attentive to detail and prompt. Wonderful experience every single time I go; I have gone alone, with colleagues, with family/loved ones. Without hesitation, I would recommend Los Andes to any and everyone!

Los Andes was really good. Our large party was accommodated despite our difficult time making reservations (our fault not the restaurants). For drinks we had sangrias, Venezuelan mai tais, and the South American flight. My favorite drink was the classic red sangria, with the mai tai a close second. For appetizers we ordered the beef hearts, classic ceviche, chorizo, and beef and chicken empanadas. The ceviche was fantastic and I would definitely recommend trying the beef hearts. Of the many entrees we ordered the paella was definitely my favorite. We had both the lobster and classic paella, while the lobster was good, I don t think it was worth the $20 up charge. After all this food we didn t have room for desert. A wonderful time was had by all. The only difficulty from the restaurant was when we tried to split the bill.

Totally enjoyed dinner here. Lots of seating and friendly staff. Our waitress was all smiles and explained the different menu choices and recommendations without hesitation. Thanks Cassie!

I was there today ... once again very disappointed !!! There is no use taking the time to call to reserve a table and arrive minutes before ... I always have to wait or stand in line for a table ... it doesn't matter if you have a reservation or not. And the worst! They always give me a makeshift table ... which I think is very bad! I can never have the table that I ask for ... if you go as a couple it is a nightmare this is the third time I go and I do not enjoy anything! I was very angry about the table that was assigned to me !!!!

Service was excellent and our server was well trained and very knowledgeable of the menu. Food came out instantly and was incredibly tender and well ballenced - Zacahito was delicious as was the chicken and the duck.

Here's the deal. This place will wow you and service is immaculate. The problem is that the food is nothing to talk about, nothing to stand on.

They took plebian indigenous food and made it very expensive. For example the Bistec (bitoque) can be had at a local Filipino or Portuguese restaurant for $9 with much more taste (rice with garlic as oppose to just plain rice) Seriously.

The chicken roll was bland. They use french fries and bland white rice as side servings. We were carbohydrated and didnt eat any of it.

We dont mind paying for espensive dinner restaurants but I'm afraid that the place spent way too much focus on the wow factor rather than the taste of their food.

Sorry but we will pass next time.

Do not let the outside of this place or the surrounding area fool you. This place is a hidden gem in Providence and easily a 5 star restaurant between the service and quality of their dishes. You will keep coming back!

Great place, good vibes and food was great also. They give a good portion so expect alot! Also if you dont understand the menu they will help you and give you hints on good popular dishes. Our server was great! Shall be back in the near future.

This place is always sooo busy and definitely expensive. So when it came out they were fined thousands and thousands of dollars for NOT paying their employees, now I can't eat there anymore.

Very nice restaurant, a warm welcoming, followed by an excellent service, with a lot of attention to details, only took 5 min to served the food. I recommend this place is fantastic.

Great location for South American (Peruvian & Bolivian to be specific) food. Ceviche and empanadas were quite good. One thing to keep in mind is the popularity of the place - lots of people waiting in line or waiting for pickup orders in a fairly confined area ( bar / reception area). Once you've crossed that hurdle, though, there's no looking back!

My boyfriend and i went came here last night for my birthday and it was one the best restaurants we have ever been hands down! Amazing service, great drinks and ever better food! I wish i asked what our servers name was , she was extremely helpful and veey consistent with the service! I would absolutely recommend this restaurant. It was pricey but for the amount of food you get its worth it. My boyfriend and i already plan on coming back! (we came from Boston)

Absolutely fantastic service! Every dish (and drink) they make is delicious, and the portions are huge. It can be tough to get a reservation, especially on the weekends unless you call a week (or two, if it's a large group) in advance, but if you're anywhere in the Providence area (really, the general New England area) you should NEVER pass up a chance to visit. Probably my favorite restaurant anywhere in New England.

Honestly I just love this place. I ve been coming for 11 years now. I think 11 or maybe 10. Every single time I step foot in Los Andes the owners amaze me. The service is top notch and by far the best in Rhode Island. Omar does a fantastic job at ensuring top quality service, quality, product, ambience, environment, you name it.

Make reservations, bring your loved one. Bring your mother, boyfriend, aunt, significant other, your crush, just bring someone and enjoy this amazing place. It s AMAZING and you won t regret it.
Get the empanadas as an appetizer and enjoy the different sauces. Let the waiter/waitress walk you through the specials. You wont those either.

And when you re done get the dessert. Its AWESOME. I suggest the flan.

While visiting Providence for work this place came highly recommended by two different people. Let's start by saying it was everything I could have asked for. I recommend going before peak hours, as I've heard there can be up to a two hour More

This food is incredible! You can be super adventurous and try new things or a little adventurous and still enjoy yourself. Great for all kinds of eaters. The service was spectacular! The food was perfect. Everything was amazing. I was surprised at how quickly the food came out and how tasty everything was - even the plain things like white rice were heavenly. Cannot wait to go back again. Try to make reservations ahead of time because it's always busy but totally worth the wait.
