DESIGNERS BEWARE !!! Pros: _ love to be bossed around by an incompetent manager ? Than this IS the place for you ! _ 70 hour/week overtime with no pay or compensation ? This IS the place for you! _ Late paychecks or tax forms and then calling you unprofessional for bringing it up ? This IS the place for you ! Cons: _ you have to do exactly what you are told, that includes the manager going to the bathroom to check if you are working and at your desk :) _ you are expected to do overtime, i have done 70 more hours a week as a designer and only been paid 40 hours/week. _ you are been talked down like a child when questioning a design/process _ your time at Array is worthless, every designer going into Array should know this. If you a fresh student needing a job, i recommend you go be a kitchen designer at Home depot, you will gain more experience and probably make more money than working there as a slave. Do not bother applying here and think that this adds to your CV...hahaha ! If you have worked in the retail industry or have worked now for a few months at Array then you must have realized you are completely #@$%$@ !!!! This literally sees you in bad light after you have worked here and you are put in a basket of bad apples since the company all together is just incompetent. Advice to Management : There are 2 industrial design managers: the one that is at the main location, meaning the one that has the office with the view (not the one that was actually competent and that you shoved into a box in the back) should not be trusted. Within the first year i have worked there, I have seen exactly 11 designers leave; either because they were fed up with the management and struggled to find another job or just couldn't take it anymore and would rather be jobless.
Array Marketing is a world class organisation with incredible people. They are leaders in their industry and a true pride for Canada!
My son works there and he likes the work he does .He has been working there for over ten years
Teams are full of bright and capable people. Great atmosphere to collaborate and work with people you respect.
Worked there for almost 1 year,I have both good and bad experiences..., but I would like to cherish the good memories. God bless you all my Friends who are still working there.
terrible company with terrible management i worked there for 3 years and the company failed more than once to pay the employees salary on time,,,also their is a manger their called Etai he is so Racist ,,,,also the company pays very low wages compared to the market,,,they just lay off over 50 of their employees who worked for them from 10-15 years
Poor communication between job applicants and hiring manager. When I first entered their building I though I was walking into cemetery. The staff looked depressed and felt like they hated their jobs. It was sad to hear that the organization had a high turn out rate and consistency hiring temp employees to fill up the gaps for their projects. I would never recommended Array Marketing to anyone unless you want to be bossed around and be told what to do. The projects are good, and some are really fun and creative. The work culture has suffered lately due to changing management styles that leave everyone feeling undervalued and overworked. The timelines are so tight lately that its very difficult to get everything done in a reasonable amount of time. As a result, lots of extra hours are required, and no monetary compensation is offered.
Very busy mfg facility. Area located has heavy commercial and non commercial vehicle traffic. Be prepared to spend lots of time if picking up or dropping off
As a former employee of over 15 years, I can honestly say that this company has changed, and not necessarily for the better. There was a time when senior management understood that a company was built by the hardwork dedication and commitment of its employees. Those that actually loved their jobs, the company and would go above and beyond, not because they had to, they did so because they genuinely cared. But things changed, management changed and we were no longer valued and appreciated for our knowledge, experience or commitment, we became numbers. It was a sad day when I submitted my resignation, and you know what, not a single word from anyone from senior management in the two weeks following my resignation. What does that tell you?
Working experience is terrible. Full of Indians and international students from India. You get fired for not speaking hindi. Employes more people than necessary then tries even harder to fire them. Not recommended.
Nice People! Friendly Environment. New challenges every day and a lot of opportunity's to learn new things if you really want to.
