This room is right on the side of the road that faces the beach. Incredible view, lovely walk in a beautiful little town. It's a must stay place. Magical. We also had a resident bald eagle in the tree near the hotel.

The Ocean Cove Inn is booked through Vacasa and does match the description provided during the booking process. It was nice to arrive with information via email about check-in and check-out already received. However, the room itself was not very private. We were able to listen to conversations on either side of us; hear our neighbors pop popcorn at midnight; and when said popcorn was burnt it set off the smoke detector in our room. The room instructions, almost annoyingly asked it's patrons to clean the dishes, take out the trash, and leave promptly before 11am. However, a limited number of trash bags were provided, no dish soap was available, and we had zero problems vacating way before the 11am time.

Very beautiful and comfy stay, a short walk from the beach. Self check-in was convenient and helpful. Only minus was no extra amenities like shampoo and conditioner that you usually expect. Overall a decent stay and would recommend

Stayed with our dog through an Air b&b reservation. Much more a hotel than we expecting although we never had a run in with any staff. Great views of the coast and Yachats river, walking distance to everything downtown. The rooms felt cozy and neighbors were quiet.

Friendly personable service. Clean, adorable room with an ocean view and the most comfortable beds we've experienced in a motel! Extra amenities like wine glasses and corkscrew, granola bars, and a rocking chair with a lap throw! All at surprisingly low rates! .

We visited the Ocean Cove Inn a few weeks ago. It's perfect! The location is right in the heart of town, and the view from the decks outside the unit is incredible. Walking distance to everything!

Small and cozy. Centrally located in town and ready walking distance from most of the local sites. Staying here in the off-season, and probably one of the most reasonably priced spots. Well worth the stay.

The inn is in a perfect location. I stayed in the upper building around 2 weeks in the Perpetua room. It was cozy and quiet. Very comfortable and clean. The view from the room is amazing. Convenient to the beach and many restaurants in town and the little grocery store. You cannot stay anywhere in the area for the price of staying at this inn. Because it was so affordable, I was able to stay in town long enough to find a place to rent for the year. Sunrise, one of the housekeepers, is very nice and told me a lot about the area. It was great to have a friendly face around during my visit. She works very hard and always has a smile. The inn, like most of the buildings in town, is a bit old and could use a little TLC (the deck, the door handles to the rooms, the floors inside the units). Overall though, it was an extremely pleasant stay. The only thing I wish it had (besides a fan since there is no air conditioning and the room can get quite hot with the sun coming in the doors and windows) was a grill out on the deck to cook up some nice meals-that would encourage guests to stay longer and not have to spend so much money to eat out, after all, there is only so much you can heat up in the microwave. I would definitely recommend this Inn to family and friends! Stay here you won t regret it!

The location was okay, but there isn't much privacy and it's not as close to the beach as their advertising makes it sound. The worst part however was that when we checked in, we discovered someone had used the toilet and not flushed prior to our arrival.

This hotel is unique, clean and comfortable. The staff is honest, informed and friendly as well as attentive. The rooms are aesthetically pleasing with attractive and tranquil colors. It is in a very good location with polite and quiet guests. Would reccomend this to others, will be returning with friends, girlfriend and family in the future.

Stayed in the room with the loft, it was very cozy for my family. Great view of Yachats Bay and the ocean. Walking distance to all the wonderful shops and restaurants in town. We will be back.

The Ocean Cove Inn is a gem in the lovely village of Yachats. The attention to detail is clearly evident as it appears the rooms have recently been updated. Everything was in great condition and we really loved the views and the walkability of the inn. We will certainly be coming back!

The Ocean Cove Inn is conveniently located on the ...

The Ocean Cove Inn is conveniently located on the Pacific Coast Highway, within walking distance of several restaurants, stores, the beach, and the Yachats River. Our room was fairly clean and a decent size. Unfortunately, the walls are poorly insulated so you can hear pretty much everything going on in neighboring rooms. The main door which is right next to the bed has a window in it and is shaded with a set of blinds. This really should be a a different kind of window covering to block the bright porch light from shining in your eyes while sleeping. Our room was outfitted with only two bath towels for a four day stay. There is poor cell service so we were reliant on Wifi which constantly cut in and out and did not provide a strong signal. While we were able to request more towels, it really should be standard to put four bath towels in a two person guest room. The office hours are not clear either so it is difficult to catch someone. An employee is in the office for 2-3 hours each day between the hours of 11:00 and 4:00. When we arrived, the office appeared to be open with a key in the door but we could not find the employee. The bed really should have a couple more pillows as well. All in all, the location is convenient and we didn't have an awful experience but there are better places to stay in Yachats.

Location is great, but overall I am pretty disappointed with the room. When we arrived, the shower rack in the restroom was broken and sitting on the toilet. Then, as we were sitting on the bed, one of the wheels attached to the bed leg broke, or was already broken and not fixed properly. The towels smelled bad, there was some old bread or something under the bed, that was discovered when the leg broke. The walls are so thin that we could hear the neighbors talk, their dog lap up water, and their TV that was on late. The wall was essentially not there. The maintenance guy was really helpful. Also, the novelty of the whale spraying out front wore off really fast and just became annoying. Good that it's pet friendly. Probably won't stay again.

We loved the separate beds and spaces of the Loft at the Ocean Cove. Location is awesome, walking distance to all you could need: grocery, post office, credit union, brewery, dispensary, beach, etc. And it is doggie friendly!

Improvements needed: a little tlc on paint and general maintenance, signage at the location (it's the only one not labeled and this caused confusion at check in), and some hooks please! Nowhere to hang stuff up except two tiny hooks at entryway. Outdoor patio furniture in need of replacing badly, it is disintegrating (literally).

For the Ocean View Loft room... Absolutely the perfect spot on the Oregon coast for a quiet get away. The room was comfortable and quite since it is sort of removed and much more private than the other rooms at the inn. The amenities we're fantastic, except it was hard to find a time when the laundry room was open. It said it would be open after 4pm but it wasn't. We found a laundromat close by though. Would definitely go back! Vacasa is also very easy to work with. Helped me change my reservation easily.

Well devoted and good layout, however they really need to clean the floors.
Bed 4/5
Layout 4/5
Noise from neighbors 4/5
Noise from road 2/5
Clean 3/5
External Lights/curtains 1/5

The sheets, bed and bathroom were clean but the floors were had literal piles of dirt. Like someone swept the dirt into a pile and didn't pick it up with a dustpan. So, noater how clean your beds are, if you take your shoes off and walk around in the room, you will get the beds messy.

The lights outside the doors are extremely bright and the door shutters don't have a curtain to block it out. I had to hang a blanket on the door to block it out and it still shone through.
