Let me start by saying I've almost always had a great experience at this store - the staff has always been friendly and helpful. However, I had a tough time after Christmas trying to exchange something.

I had purchased a gift for a friend during their black Friday sale at the end of November. When I attempted to exchange the size of the item after Christmas (my friend just needed a size up), they said I was past the exchange time limit and that Black Friday sale items were final sale, even after I had told them it was a gift. Tags were still on and everything. However they did recommend that I call their customer service line and I'm very glad I did - the woman on the phone handled the situation perfectly (hence the 3 stars) and even told me to go back to the store so that she could speak with them on the phone. After that phone call, I had no issues exchanging the size. THANK YOU Aritzia customer service!

PLEASE try to remove the disconnect between how the store handles these issues and how customer service does. I love this store, but you will piss off a lot of people if you don't consider revising your exchange policy during the holidays.

The staff gave me a very hard time returning an item. There was a sign on the counter that said We don t accept returns today ! They asked me to come back tomorrow. I went home and came back the next day. The sign was there the next day too and they refused to return the item again.

Came in looking for a coat, thought it would take forever - I don t like shopping. Was impressed by how attentive the staff were without it making me feel pushed or pressured. Cassandra was a huge help, and she s exceptional at managing many different things at once!

The most SAs are more friendly, but when I checked out, the cashier asked my name and phone number. I wouldn't like to leave my information there. The cashier's smile face turned into darken immediately. The same buying experience in the Guildford store!!!

Is there an issue with not wanting to leave name and contact information? This happens at evry location - I say 'no thank you' pleseantly and with a smile and the sales associate instantly becomes rude and unfriendly.

Observations while shopping with family: No one greets you unless you pick something up and then everyone wants to start you a fitting room. You walk in to said fitting room and have to find your products never seeing the first sales person again. That salesperson has the audacity to ask you how it went when you pay and put their name on the garment for credit of the sale when did not do anything. Why do women enjoy shopping here?

I ve been shopping at Aritzia for years and they never disappoint. Although, I was very surprised today to see how many people were in the location at Pacific Centre. It was crowded! My Mom and I immediately left. No way to social distance. Given the size of the store there should only be a certain number of people allowed at one time.

love the clothes, but man, some of the staff can be rude. friendly attitudes and leaving your feelings of superiority at home would be a nice change. I appreciate when employees are genuine and kind, no matter who you are and what questions you may have. would up it to 5 stars if I felt like anyone could go in and feel welcome.

I was in the store for about 15-20 minutes, not once was I greeted or looked after. Being in the customer industry myself for many years I understand if the store is busy or under staffed that greeting customers becomes tough. But when there are only a few customers like myself in the store and many many employees out on the floor someone should acknowledge them and help them out with question they may have.. I got odd looks from a few girls working instead, I ve been at many other Aritzia locations and have never felt so uncomfortable being in a store. I will not be returning to this location.

I'm pretty sure they called me fat last time I went here. It was definitely insinuated at the check-out.. I thought I'd give it another shot as it was one person. So today I went in because I really love their scarves. No matter how much I want that scarf I couldn't bring myself to pay for it after how I was treated today.
I was immediately pressured by the sales people. I couldn't take two steps without someone coming up to me. Maybe they're on commission? I shrugged it off. I tried on the scarf and was looking around.. I then saw that the security officers were literally staring, laughing, pointing and making fun of my new outfit I just bought!! ... Ugh. I've never in my life been so embarrassed!! It's good to know after reading some of these reviews I'm not the only one that has experienced this holier than thow act.

I would never want to make anyone feel like this.

High Praise to Lucy P. of Aritzia Pacific Center. Every time I've shopped at this location, Lucy has been the first person to come and assist me. She is incredibly attentive and gives honest feedback to the pieces I try on. She is friendly, cheerful, and is the reason I keep returning to this location. Thanks Lucy!

I ve been wanting to write this review for a while and I intend to communicate with the Aritzia corporate office about this complaint :
Last month, I walked in the Pacific Centre Vancouver Aritzia store and purchased a cachemire coat at over 300$ and a top at around 50$ which was on sales. The gentleman at the counter was very nice and offered me a return possibility for the top only because I was in a hurry and couldn t try it on.


After a 15 mins dispute, and seeing that I overall made a big purchase that day, she accepted the return of the 50$ top.

I would suggest to Aritzia, if they want to maintain customers like myself, who make purchases of over 400$ every time I walk in the store, then a change in staff is an essential. They just lost a valuable customer just because of the lack of professionalism from the manager of the store. It is to be noted that I didn t take note of the lady s name but I gave a physical description and she did mention she was the manager.

Seriously I don t understand why aritzia Can t not create an easy comfortable shopping experience for customers Every store the girls so pushy and rude , u tried on u don t buy and you look their faces it s like U owe them millions of dollars ..customers not leaving yet , a sales ask the one who helped the customer did she buy ? .. that s very rude and inappropriate, ok? I still love their clothing but will try not go to the stores .

I tried on the super puff shorty in Matt pearl in store and decided to get it. Went home later only to realize the sale rep wrapped the wrong one - wrong length and wrong shade of white. Now the one is out of stock online and in stock. Their online customer service is quite impatient as well. Overall daily disappointing.

DO NOT BUY THE SILVER SUPER PUFF (OR SIMILAR COLOURS)
the finish comes off so easily. I would review the product online but because I purchased in store I cannot!
I bought one and in 3 days had the finish coming off in various areas. Returned hoping maybe just a bad egg but the next one did the same, though not as fast, but after a couple weeks now it's gotten worse.
$250 down the drain. Really sad, I loved the feel of the jacket compared to other brands of similar price and it was silver! But now its ruined.

I cannot trust the other colours won't do the same and I won't ever purchase again, nor anything from them.

BUYER BEWARE.

I went into the store in Pacific center with my friend to try on the new jackets and I found 3 dresses to try on aswell. A pale blond girl kept asking if I needed help finding the right size after I picked out what I wanted to try on. Then she took it and walked over to a coworker and they started whispering and staring at me. It made me feel so self conscious I just left. It was quite rude and really hurt my feelings.

To be honest oh, this current season is really not my taste. Everything is very neutral, boring and OneNote. Barely any colour in the whole shop. But that is not why I give it a lower review because that's just aesthetics .

It begs the question: just how long does someone have to be in a store before somebody offers to assist them? Maybe it's because they didn't see me as their target market.

Whatever it was, I was there for a long browse. And did not get approached for help once. Even with stuff to try on in my hand.

Edit (Oct 3, 2018): I was again chased out of the Pacific Centre location 6mo after my initial review The same sales associate hovered over me, breathing heavily when she saw a jacket on my arm. Once she realized it was MY jacket, she went to bother someone else. Aritzia, get it together, especially Pacific Centre

I really encourage Aritzia to review its policies and training for their sales associates.

Staff are extremely pushy and bothersome the moment I touch an article of clothing- especially at Pacific Centre. On a few occasions, this behaviour has pushed me out of the store and to buy online because I don t want some sales associate to take credit for my purchase when they spent 20 minutes chasing me through the store and driving me crazy

Other companies that I enjoy shopping at like Noul and Oak and Fort do a wonderful job with their customer service- staff know when they re needed and when they are not. Aritzia could learn a thing or two in this department.

1. Aritzia have created a cut throat pushy sales environment
2. They don't accept refunds or exchanges as they say they do; I suspect to keep their store numbers up for HQ.

Ive tried to exchange a scarf a day after a sale because I accidentally bought the smaller version and not the large square. If my memory serves me right, they told me to exchange the day after the sale ended because they blacked out refunds and exchanges on the sale day. When returning the day after, I was told that I would not receive the sale price in the exchanges, this was 2017. The manager not only wouldnt perform the refund/exchange on the moment following the purchase, but she was cold, and unpleasant to deal with. I was angry I didn't get what I wanted but brushed it off fairly quickly.

That's one example, but I have never had a worse experience than that of this week. I was pressured by the sales Associates to purchase more than what I was looking for which I repeated over and over I was just looking for this one item. That item (a blazer for work) would have required significant tailoring to fit how short my arms are. After stating repeatedly that I was only looking for this one item and I wasn't satisfied with neither the drape or the fit, unsolicited, I was brought more items that could be suitable for work. I recognized the upsell but I thought it wouldn't hurt try on a few more items because I had a change room. Ultimately, I decided to go home and sleep on which items I actually needed. They stopped me before leaving, said I needed to make a payment for layaway and I said no. I was given another pitch to which I lazily responded that I couldn't because wow look at that, I forgot my wallet. Honesty was just easier for them to latch onto and I didn't want to cause a scene at how irritating it was to be pushed on a sale. They asked for my phone number to have the items put on hold for me, I thought it was harmless so I gave it to them.

A few hours later, the sales associate texted me to ask me when she could have the items ready for my return. I said "tomorrow", but I already told her that, she already knew that.

I went to another location the next morning to avoid explaining why I was only going to get the camisole (and not the entire 5 peice $800 bill), and the manager their already knew who I was by name and situation because they had talked about me. She asked me to go to the other store to settle my bill, basically blocking her own sale. I decided against the entire purchase and went home out of the situation making me uncomfortable.

Not only do I feel harassed at home by text, and in store, but my customer anonymity was lost. I'm very, very uncomfortable returning items, and fear being upsold to a ridiculous point - it's like a used car sales lot. My advice to aritzia is if your SA's are going to follow up by text message, the associates and clientele should have a personal connection, otherwise, call from the store phone. Second, I don't blame the staff, I blame whatever targets you have on your people to make them feel they have to act without manners and honouring social cues.

I find most of the associates at this location quite unfriendly, but not as bad as the Robson location. I struggle to find what I am interested in purchasing and am never asked if I need assistance. When I ask, they seem as though they can't be bothered. I love the clothing lines, but I do not buy from Aritzia too often now. I think the return policy is terrible also. Not being able to at least exchange an item on sale is ridiculous. You should also be able to get a refund within a limited amount of time on sale items. And why are there not mirrors in every dressing room, it is uncomfortable having to come out into the open area to see if something looks good on you.

This store is a very convenient location for me to pop in to see what is new. Aritzia has some of the best sweaters. Their winter sweaters are my favorites and their summer sweaters are a close second...haha. Truly, their quality of sweater is great as they are made from natural fibers and warm wool combinations.

AMAZING experience on my birthday here - tons of ladies running all around the store helping me find my perfect birthday outfit and a bunch of outfits to take home. Always a VIP experience there. Even as someone that wears larger sizes than the models I never felt uncomfortable.

Everytime I go to aritzia I always feel unnoticed, Im not a poor dresser, but I always end up looking at myself and think am I dressed nice enough to come in here? I was came in today looking for some high waisted leggings, I was at the table looking at my options when a employee came beside me to put some stuff back she didn't even say hi or offer any help. If I needed help (which I did) or if I didnt ( I would of thanked her and nicely decline) which was not the case. I politely approached for help looking for a size and she brought me to the change room right after.. After trying 1 item I had to say excuse me 3 times to get someones attention who was hanging something. By the time I was done trying things on if I wasn't standing there for awhile I would of been long gone without even the girls asking "how was everything" I left the store without anything and feeling low of myself if i was not welcomed.

Recently I bought a pair of pants at this branch. It was a special order because they didn't have my size. I told them that I want to think about it and maybe order online, but then they were quite pushy and told me that if I ordered from the store, it'd be free shipping. So I did in the end. It turned out that it was a lie. I was still charged shipping.

So I called their customer service, who reassured me that the actual amount without shipping will be reflected on the credit card statement. Guess what? It's also NOT TRUE. Now I have to call them again to fix this.
I could've just ordered online. It's a completely waste of time dealing with their untrained staff.

It's a convenient location but that's about it. I ordered online to have scarves shipped here and the store never contacted me when it arrived. The sales associates gave me so much attitude when I called in to ask and when I asked for a bag. Jeez. How much can a bag cost you?
