Trails did not disappoint! Beautiful views and great photo ops.
We go frequently. I recommend everyone see at least one show at Red Rocks. The steps can be tough, and weather changing so dress accordingly and bring layers.
Spiritual. I could write a bunch of words describing how incredible Red Rocks is when you see it in person for the first time. But you really just need to experience it for yourself. Pictures will never do it justice.
We attended Rezz Rocks 2019, and the experience was amazing. This is a beautiful place to see a concert, so find an excuse to go!
There doesn't seem to be a bad place to watch the show anywhere in here, we only went a few rows down but still had a great view.
Didn't go to a show. Went to see it. At the top railing I got such vertigo I almost passed out. Those seats are steep. It looks like about 300 feet straight down. I am sure the acoustics have to be great.
Best venue anywhere. If one who works it was super friendly and accommodating. The concessions are way overpriced, but that would be the only con about this amazing place
Cool place to walk around or catch a concert. Had a full service eatery and trails to explore.
What can I say about Red Rocks that's it it's Red Rocks fantastic place
I attended Yoga on the Rocks and it was incredible! Red Rocks staff was quick with ticketing, so the wait wasn't too long for 2000 yogis and a sold out event! The views are fantastic in all directions, and the signs to get to the amphitheater are easy to follow starting from the Morrison exit. I can't wait to go back.
Loved the actual amphitheatre and the exhibits inside! Super interesting. Would love to come back for an actual concert!
Every show is good here. My favorite parking is upper south. Great to tailgate before show and has the "hill" entrance to walk up rather than stairs. Views are amazing as expected and every show I've been to (about 20) sounds amazing.
300 million year old Rocks with a great performance from Trevor Noah.
Greatest veanue for outdoor concerts. You should go at least once.
Always a great time. Rain, snow, or when the sun shines. You don't need a concert happening to appreciate this place.
The most amazing place on earth for an outdoor concert.
The best place in Colorado for an outdoor concert. Amazing artists, sound, and crowd. Some of the best concerts I've ever gone to.
There is a significant amount of cannabis use despite being unauthorized so if you are unable to partake, be advised
Sit near row 40 in the middle for the best viewing and hearing experience
Hands down the best music venue ever. The Gorge is a close second, been seeing shows at Red Rocks for the last decade and it never fails to amaze!!!!
Great environment for kids and dogs.
There is a great trail (Trading Post) nearby that us highly recommended~
Saw Tame Impala here. The acoustics in this place are stellar and the views are top notch as well. Even lining up for the concert presented a great view of Red Rocks. Did I mention the sound from the place? It was as if the sounds was beaming off the rocks around venue. I was very impressed with this place and hope to come back again for another show.
Hands down best outdoor venue! Always perfect sound, not a bad seat in the house. Come early or during the day and run the stairs for a pre-show workout with views of Denver.
This has some of the most beautiful views I've ever seen. It also has a some great hiking near the venue. I've never seen a show here, but the stage is amazing, and it has to be a great place to see a show. This amphitheatre is worth visiting any time of the year, and not just when there's a concert.
Fabulous and beautiful place! Also great hiking trails and stunning views. A must see.
Gorgeous location! So beautiful it almost doesn't look real. Plenty of parking available too.
Upon arrival the surroundings were exasperating, such a pleasant trip. Saw a lot of animals such as big horn sheep, bisons, and more. Especially during summer time in Colorado, it tends to get really beautiful with sunflower, white flowers, and fully bloom tree's as well as amazing whether and sites. Definitely will come back again, no doubt!
I have been lucky enough to go to concerts all over the Americas and Red Rocks is my top venue. An amazing setting and the sound is top notch. Great area to hike when there is not a concert.
Beautiful day! No tourists. First hike of the season. Walked it in 30 min. Will start running it in a few weeks. Be careful of a few ice patches on the south side of isles.
Red rock is a must go for anyone coming to denver. I'd go see my least favorite band there no questions asked
Amazing views and acoustics makes this a world renowned venue
It was an interesting place to check out and walk around! Would love to go to a concert here soon!
I'm probably going to have to move to Colorado so I can see all the shows here. Crazy awesome venue. Be prepared for an uphill climb from parking lot to access the seats. If you're in general admission, get there when gates open and stake out your spot. The seata fill up fast.
The scenery is absolutely breathtaking! Awesome acoustics!
Very beautiful place.......I recommend stay this place.
Excellent park that is a must to checkout! Food and beverage on site makes a great place to grab something to eat and/or drink while enjoying the views!
Amazing place. Wonderful views. Easy hikes. Very photogenic
Nice ampitheatre in middle of rocks. You can have a great time along with music and nature. Also there is a hiking trail near by if you love to hike. Pets are allowed too.
Best concert venue hands down. Amazing views. Worth a trip.
I took my wife here for Lauren diagle and it was a cool venue. It's a tad bit of a walk but it's unlike any other venues out there. The sound travels very well and the seating is not bad either. There is plenty of walk space between rows. The canyon and rocks create a truly unique experience as you can look out over Denver while enjoying the "Western" feel. The prices for food and drinks absolutely suck but that's not unexpected at any concert or sporting events. The restrooms seemed sufficient for the crowds. Overall I'd definitely visit again.
Most beautiful place on earth. Besides being a concert venue, the theatre is also a park. Go during the morning or early afternoon for a picnic or workout (run stairs). Hundreds of people will be working out on any nice day.
One of the best places on earth to see a concert. Good, easy hiking trails if you have some spare time to kill.
Pretty nice place if your a fit person, or just driving thru. Lots of up hill walking on trails and plenty of stairs to climb. Plenty of wild life to see. Over all its a must see venue...
Fantastic outdoor venue and a great place for concerts. Nothing beats Red Rocks. Parking can be a bit of a hassle, but just get there early enough to get an acceptable spot. Remember that this is an outdoor experience and come prepared for all weather options.
Amazing venue. Literally feels like you're sitting on top of the city. It's beautiful. They allow emptied water bottles but it requires a few sets of stairs to fill it with warm water. I would definitely be back if in the area.
The most incredible venue I have visited. There was a lot of confusion with seating that really needs to be figured out but the place was still so amazing!
A must stop. Even if you don't get to see a concert. Hiking trail and very good food out on the patio
Its amazing, I got to see peter framptons last tour here! Tho, the vips had a hard time, The was no table saying were you get your vip tickets, people had to walk up, then down, then back up red rocks, other than that it was amazing!
This was a really cool place to check out. The scenery is beautiful and the history is amazing. Be sure to swing by their museum and see the history as well as the pasty musicians that have plagued there. It was very clean and a place to visit even when there is not a concert playing.
Most recently saw Norah Jones here in July 2019.
Throughout the years have seen some Amazing shows including Tom Petty, Van Morrison, Willie Nelson, Big Head Todd & The Monsters, and more.
Remains one of the best outdoor venues in the world, if not the best.
We parked in Morrison and took a lift in and out of the park.
This place is a absolute MUST to see a show at, no matter where in the world you live.
Red rocks is a magical place! Everyone should make it out if passing through Colorado, no matter what show it is anyway experience!
Best music venue I've ever been to. I'd highly recommend going here.
Amphitheatre wasn't open but the hiking was awesome with incredible views!
Amazing place to visit! Enjoy the scenery with friends and family!
There aren't enough wonderful adjectives to describe this place
I've been here twice. Both times there was no show going on. But still an incredible view.
Very efficient filing a full venue. Always beautiful.
it was so great i can't descibe it in words. it was so beautiful and looked amazing . Go Please you will LOVE it !!!!!!!! (NOTE: GO WHEN THERE IS NO CONCERTS IT IS FREE TO ROAM AROUND THE PARK YOU CAN EVEN GO ON THE STAGE )
Seriously beautiful and the parking is well managed by staff. Went for my first time a few days ago and the sound can't be beat. The seating is open with wood benches, so bring a blanket or a pillow. Theater seating makes it easy to see over the people in front of you (as a short person, this is crucial). Come early to get to per section parking. Be prepared to hike if you have to park lower.
Makes my heart Happy to see the museum along with every show in the history of red rocks.
Great spot for hiking, walking and dog friendly (on leash). Make sure the avoid the crowds in the amphitheater. Doing yoga here might mean your mat gets sticky from spilled beer from the last concert.
I just love red rocks amphitheatre. Its just an amazing place.
No words can describe the beauty of this venue. It is truly an experience that you have to have first hand. At night the rocks are light up and the city twinkles on the horizon. The sound of the music is like nothing I have ever heard before at a basic venue. The only struggle with the venue is the parking, so I would recommend getting and Uber or Lyft there and out. They had a Lyft station available and the wait wasn't bad at all! Don't forget to check out the museum beneath which has a history of iconic musicians who have played there. It is also a great place to warm up in between artists. I can't wait to go back!
Super cool place and the trading post trail was fun with great views.
Awesome venue for live music. Be ready for a long walk if you park towards the bottom though. Definitely the best venue I've ever been too though.
Red Rocks needs to be a bucket list venue for all concert goers! It is absolutely gorgeous and our favorite venue!! The acoustics are perfect and we loved everything about this place (well, besides the outrageous drink prices).
The best staff on hand for events. Everyone from the people at the parking lot to the gates to concession were friendly and helpful. Best venue to see a concert, it should be on your bucket list!!
Nice space short ride from Denver. Hiking running biking. Or run up and down the stairs at the amphitheatre. There's even a museum space of all the performances of the past.
This is a really cool place to visit. Dud nit attend an actual concert just audio testing. Sound was clearly heard. I can only imagine what a concert with a full audience would be like. Bring a camera, you can get some grwat shots.
Absolutely stunning! Only reason I'm giving it four stars is cuz they close a lot for concerts.
Nice natural tourism place in Colorado. A little bit steps to climb up to see the top of the theatre but worthy. Not too far from the city and free. Recommend!!
Very picturesque. Worth a visit. For an event, I believe it would be a dream come true. There were ample bathrooms located at different places.
Red Rocks is one of the very Best places to go to a concert!! The sound quality is phenomenal and on top of that, you have such a fabulous view of the city!!!!
Highly recommend you go see a band you like here...you will be so glad you did!!!!!
Best place ever to see a show. Acoustics are sick amazing
There was no concert when I was there but it was absolutely beautiful! Would love to see a show there sometime.
