Can't really deserve how awesome this place is. The hiking, the shows, the John Denver memorials. It's all awesome.

Can't really deserve how awesome this place is. The hiking, the shows, the John Denver memorials. It's all awesome.
Bucket list item. This place is the best amphitheatre on Earth. No bad seats. Just go.
Best music venue that I have been to. The venue has amazing natural acoustics that are unlike any other venue.
I go to a few shows every year. Not a bad seat in the house. Love to tailgate.
We just stopped in on a whim to see the view. Spectacular natural scenery and nice "museum". It must be an amazing venue for a concert.
Beautiful!!! Check the weather before getting up early to watch a sunrise there Very popular place to workout!
So beautiful! Every concert will look unreal! Love this!
Awesome views. Strange hours. Make sure to check when you re allowed in before going, we arrived during a concert setup and weren t let in.
Extraordinary! And I'm not kidding! Saw Mark Knopfler and 10 incredible musicians. Parking, Driving in, and driving out were not a problem. Security checks, and taking tickets were very organized and went fast... And of course the beauty of the amphitheatre and being out under the moon n stars is beyond words!!
The best venue i have ever been to for a concert. Not a bad seat anywhere, even on the hill behind it. Just naturally wonderful
What an awesome place....would love to see a concert here.
The most amazing venue I have ever been to see a concert. The atmosphere was incredible. The bands were so excited to be there, it felt like a dream come true.
A great place filled with terrific views and amazing memories to be made while watching entertainment in a natural rock formation
Beautiful space! It's a nice venue for a concert or just to come and sight see. It is a bit confusing to find anything and anyone when there is a concert, including parking lots and ride shares because there aren't enough signs, and a lot of parking lots. Overall beautiful place to visit though!
Red rocks trails...just do it. So beautiful. I hear concerts are great to attend as well tho I haven't yet. On my list of things to do however!
This is an amazing place. Venue is large, organized, and easy to navigate. They have a ton of vendors, food options, and areas to hang out before and during the concert. The views are stunning, the sound is incredible and it s an experience you will not forget. We were fortunate enough to have VIP tickets, and if you do this option you ll be pleased. Private entrance, ballroom with food and drinks complimentary, and a separate area to hang out before the concert starts. On a hot day with hours before the headliner, this was a game changer. Highly recommend Red Rocks!
Best outdoor concert venue that I have been to. Met a very helpful and friendly staff member that has been working there for 11+ years. Beautiful views of the city and it all gets even better after dark (especially the sound). 3 easy ways into the venue and good parking lots spread out in various locations; top one is the best. Nice selection of food and drinks but very pricey so be prepared, and some are cash only. You can also bring your own non-alcoholic branded drinks and food. Highly recommend bringing seat cushions/towels to sit on or fold out seats with backs that meet space requirements (no more than 18" wide); small bench seating.
Saw a show here, everything I expected from the good things I heard prior
Red Rocks is a wonderful place for both good photos and a concert. Beautiful place, but the reason I marked it down 1 star is because it is not a friendly place for people with disabilities or injuries. Both me and another family member went here for a concert and all the parking lots filled up, so we had to park on the side of the road and hike almost .8 of a mile up to the amphitheatre. Note: there are taxis for people who really cant hike up to the venue. Overall nice place to visit.
Awesome place. Would be cool to come back and watch some music.
Amazing small venue! Great artists, but I would have gone for the setting alone!
The best best best.. I live west to be closer.. love you RR
Can t describe how amazing it is. Special place. And Orin L. with the event staff was awesome!!
Best concert venue! Must see a concert here in your lifetime if you enjoy live shows.
We didn't go for a concert, we just wanted to see this beautiful place. The color, size, and shape of the rocks make this a fun place to visit. It's a short drive from downtown Denver. We went in the morning when it was cooler, started at the top, walked down and up all of the stairs. We stayed for a great lunch at the restaurant.
Great place to see a show or just walk around. It's expansive, be prepared for a good amount of walking. Beautiful scenery, the energy, and the over all feel can't be beat.
There is nothing I can say that is bad about this place. Concerts are great, drinks are great and the people are great. A bit of a walk/hike, but do worth it.
Red Rocks is a beautiful, sacred sort of place for people regardless of faith. It's impossible to stand below the rocks looking up at where the pinnacle meets the moon and Mars and NOT be caught up in awe.
But I am commenting on the amphitheatre, not just the rocks. The venue itself is one of the best I've ever been to. The parking lot, while open, isn't micro-managed so it's possible to have a great time out there before the show. Once inside, it's nothing but friendly faces, high quality music, and a permanently amazing view of Denver down below. Red Rocks is always worth the money, always worth the drive.
Gorgeous view of the Denver skyline as you experience an intimate acoustical setting like no other with the artist you're viewing and all of their fans.
Beautiful view, great events, and a lovely place to get in a quick workout.
Very impressive structure and facility! The museum beneath was very well done and felt brand-new. Being able to freely park and walk the amphitheater seats, stairs, and stage was a real treat! And the rocks surrounding the venue really are inspring, not to mention the view of Denver! Unfortunately, there was an Aramark van parked in the lot, which means their food probably isn't that great and its probably expensive...
This was my first time at Red Rocks, and I flew in from WI for the show.
The venue is breathtakingly beautiful!! The grounds are well kept, and security was firm but polite. The sound and lighting we're all on point, and even the prices at the concessions weren't too bad. This is my new favorite venue in the US.
Definitely going to come back, just have to find another show that's worth the trip!!!
Stunning venue for a concert. The acoustics were excellent and I couldn't stop screaming in excitement from the energy of the performers. I look forward to going here again (and yes, I specifically traveled to CO to see this venue; it was absolutely worth it!)
First time ever going to a concert a red rocks and holy moly the best one I've been too.
Just gorgeous, they also have trails and the mini museum with all the art work in the back was just phenomenal.
Great music venue! Location and atmosphere are amazing! Be prepared to walk up a LOT of stairs!
Wider than normal isles make it nicer than a lot of venues. There was room to stand and due to the slope you dont block the people behind you if you stand. However even in the close section your a long way from the stage.
Such a great venue from the natural acoustics to the ample amount of space. Be ready to do some walking up and down stairs though.
This place was awesome I would be a great spot to take in a concert but even though we were too early for any type of concert was still an awesome place with an amazing view. Beyond beautiful.
Didn't see a show but came to visit this legendary venue. Amazing scenery!
Best music venue in the State!!! Hell... Best on the planet! Seen so many great shows in this beautiful venue and it never gets old, heck... Even a ok show is made is a great experience! Be prepared for rain, wind and even snow (depending on the time of year). You will be going up at some time, so be prepared to do some heavy breathing.
Parking lot for some shows is a truly awesome experience... But that a different story!
If you haven t experienced hearing music at its finest. This amphitheater theatre is a must. Nothing beats going to a outdoor concert at Red Rocks. FYI... Be prepare to climb quite a few stairs.
Easy hike with great views. Bummer that you cannot see the amphitheater from the hike. Great nonetheless
Always a good time! Rated one of the top venues in the US, as a CO Native I cannot complain. In the photo - GRiZ Beer by Great Divide 2018
Very cool to visit, but would be much cooler during a concert! Make sure you double check the website before you go as concert set up and events close it down during the day quite often.
Love it! It's world renowned and had such a great time. Great place to exercise on a beautiful Colorado day too. I saw Marshall Charloff as Prince and his band the Purple Xperience. Wow!
Beautiful place to visit and listen to music. The tacos are very expensive.
Awesome experience! People were so nice and helpful! Acoustics were fantastic and traffic flow afterwards was quick! I d go again in a heartbeat!!
Saw Brit Floyd concert. Truly awesome experience. Highly recommended!
Red rocks is by far the best place ever to see a concert. What a wonderful venue!
An amazing place to hike, run, or see a concert. The rocks and mountains are truly magical.
One of the main reasons I decided to move to Denver
This is one of the most beautiful, acoustically amazing places to see a concert. If you're in the Denver area, I would recommend a visit, almost regardless of who is performing.
Well for a first timer to this venue I was not prepared for the climbing and when we purchased the tickets nothing was mentioned that I saw about suggested shoes, health restrictions for climbing etc. While we there I tried not to drink too much water because I didn't want to have to make the climb down and then back up. But had I not been pregnant or if I had gotten some kind of heads up it may have not been that bad and overall the venue was beautiful and the sound was great.
Amazing view of the natural beauty! Though haven't been to a concert here yet.
Great 1.5-mile trail to walk with your 4-legged companion(s)
Best outdoor amphitheater period. Great tourist destination- must do if you're visiting CO.
Just nothing like it. Great place to get a workout while enjoying scenery unmatched anywhere in our nation.
Everything about Red Rocks ruined every other venue for me, from the speed that we were able to get in to the the friendliness of the staff. I had always heard the sound was amazing but nothing prepared me for how clear every note is.
One of the best venues I've ever been to for music. (I saw an exclusive concert on Alcatraz that rivals) can't go back there tho. Ha.
Red rocks acoustics were phenomenal, great layout. Not great seating but it's inside the rocks. Lots of history!

If you've never been to Red Rocks, to hike or see a show, it's got to get added to your bucket list! As a venue, only Telluride's town park can come close, and it's much closer! Great views, beautiful sunsets, and on more than a few occasions, rainbows pop out after a summer shower before (or twice just after) the show starts. The only drawback? it's a "smaller" venue so the biggest names that fill stadiums don't play here...
Worth seeing human engineering at it's finest! Would have loved to see a show, but didn't get that opportunity.
Amazing beautiful place in Colorado. I didn't think to much of the drive but as we kept going the scenery kept getting more and more beautiful. Being from Arizona I've seen the beautiful Red Rock formations in Sedona. This was right up there and pretty spectacular. This is a must see on any type of day, and be amazed.
A great spot for low stress hiking that's quick to reach from Denver, but still feels like you're getting away from town. There are several hikes that are great even for novice hikers, not too long (1-3 miles) but are perfect for a half day of "rookie" hiking when you want to get to the outdoors.
My first time here, watched Celtic Women. The view was amazing!!! The music and acoustics were phenomenal! What I would recommend for anyone is to bring something to sit on, like a pillow or stadium chair. Also, umbrellas are not allowed in, we had a begun to bring ours when a group of people let us know, we didn't have to walk ask the way back to our car.
Keep in mind that there will be lots of walking... Up stairs. Take your time. There are taxis outside lots offering rides to the top, they charged $5 a person (last night) I think it might be worth it, but I did survive the walk.
I can't imagine a better vantage point for a concert. It was stunning... Go at least once if you can.
Video recording and flash photography are prohibited... My photos where taken with my phone
enjoy these photos I took, they just don't do it justice.
Best venue for a concert. The location alone is worth the trip. The sound is absolutely amazing in such a gorgeous natural setting. Definitely a must see for Colorado residents and tourists alike.
Great place for concerts and you can walk all the steps for a workout nice scenery
Awesome free place to hike and enjoy gorgeous views! We did Geographical Marker Trail and the Trading Post Trail. Don't recommend doing both if you're not in shape. One would be enough workout. The amphitheatre is gorgeous. Would love to see a show there sometime!
I would honestly give red rocks 5 stars because I had such a fun time but they couldn t manage to control their ice. I m from Minnesota so a little ice isn t a big deal but they had a huge staircase that was hardly walkable.
I sprained my ankle there, a friend fell pretty hard at the top, and another friend took a digger in the parking lot trying to get into the car.
I was here for a bachelor party and the bachelor won a guitar which was awesome. The music was great too. Bummer they can t manage to control their ice in the winter.
Wonderful and unique location to witness and attend a concert.
There is nice view and great red rocks!!!
And Cool concert hall.
One Republic and the Colorado Symphony orchestra was the best concert I've seen at RR by far!!
