God and man created a beautiful place in this park. Natural and clean.
Beautiful for a day visit, even without a concert going on.
Super awesome dead rocks show last night. First time ive ever seen fireworks display with the finale at red rocks!!
After seeing 150+ concerts and venues, Red Rocks is one of my favorites. Awesome experience. Several hundred steps to climb to reach the Ampatheatre. There is a shuttle on the top section. Great view of downtown Denver from your seat. A must for any concert goer. Magic place for sure.
Always a must when in the Denver area. Absolutely majestic.
One of the wonderful place I had never seen such a place. Even good to just hangout with friends enjoying music
Beautiful views, though some of the area was closed off for a Sarah McLaughlin concert, which we heard the sound check for with the singer before hiking down.
The ultamite outdoor venue for live music in the USA, there isn't a comparison in this country. Music sounds amazing anywhere you sit and the artists are from all over the charts. I highly recommend taking in a show here, even if you're just in town for the night and don't even think the band is to your liking for that particular night.
Also the Denver skyline in the background mixed with the actual natural beauty of the amphitheater (the red rocks) are totally breathtakingly phenomenal! 10 thumbs up!
Went to see Lady Antebellum. Got subjected to an hour of warm up bands, followed by the the two hour premier of Kevin Costner's TV show (which is pretty insipid and predictable, but that's another story). Lady Antebellum didn't even take the stage until 10:00 and played for about an hour. Yes, it's a nice venue, but the "bait and switch" sucked.
Beautiful views. Amphitheater has little museum with list and pics of 100s of greatest world musicians from every genre who've played there including Beatles. Known for having perfect natural acoustics.
One Republic & Colorado Symphony Orchestra were amazing
Great Atmosphere, diverse and short hike, nice staff, good museum, well kept, free
Red Rocks is the best out door amphitheatre in the country for all types of Music!
The city of Denver has control of both the sound & time length of each show!
Electronic shows are great @ Red Rocks, but not what they used to be, the city has noise ordenance for bass!
I have been to a hundred plus shows @ Red Rocks & it is still a treat yo see your favorite music artist in such a beautiful setting.
amazing, but don't expect to buy things here lol everything is expensive
Breath taking views. Great visit if you enjoy impressive natural formations.
Would love to attend a concert here. Was only visiting for the sights, but I have heard the sounds are awesome as well.
Haven't been there for a concert yet (will update when that happens), but it's an excellent workout spot! If you're like me and hate the treadmill, Red Rocks is great because you get to look out and see Denver and the City lights past the rolling foothills.
Great park! awesome amphitheatre! Being a native of Colorado I didn't like all the changes they have done. 10 yrs since I've seen it.
Beautiful views! For a hike, park at the bottom and walk all the way to the top. Make sure to wear good shoes and be careful if there's snow!
Been here for a concert and came another day to just hike the trail. Gorgeous area! Short hike and the rocks are awesome! Beware though we hiked past a rattlesnake on the trail.
Red rocks amphitheater is an amazing place for a concert as well as a day trip to go hiking, walk the amphitheater stairs or see the museum! The hike is pretty easy here so it s great for families. We love coming here to hang out before they close the doors for a show to walk around and get drinks outside on the patio of the restaurant! They have cool exhibits as well downstairs and it s always nice to do a hike around the area! We always bring family and friends who visit from out of town here because it blows everyone away. A concert here is also a must see! You get stunning views of the city and the rocks lit up at night are phenomenal! When coming for a visit, make sure to come early usually before 1 PM to be able to check out the amphitheater because they usually close it pretty early to get set up for show.
I highly recommend you go to old town Morrison afterward for lunch, drinks, shopping and to walk along the creek after! It s a very cute town just minutes away with beautiful views!
If you want to do another hike in the area, I love going to Mount falcon Park for a stunning hike!
Have seen both the Revivalists and J Roddy Walston multiple times in smaller venues with much better acoustics. Both are amazing artist but Red Rocks did not do them justice. On another note, the scenery is awesome but fresh air is limited.
Beautiful. Convenient access shuttles between sites. Skywalk was awesome no line in December.
Great local treasure..always a good time being outdoors. Friendly staff...clean facilities...soooo many great events and shows held here...good food options during events...check it out...you will become a frequent visitor!
Best place to see a concert hands down. The setting is beautiful and the acoustics are phenomenal. The people in company are great as well. It's hard to see a show anywhere else after having been to Red Rocks.
Great trails and great fun always a favorite place to visit
Really enjoyed My visit to the Lyle Lovett concert. This was My first concert at Red Rocks. It was an awesome experience and the acoustics were Great!!!
Such an amazing place! Been to a few concerts here, loved every single one!!! Everyone should check this place out!
awesome venue beautiful park do not miss a chance to go heee
This is a stunning amphitheater with a view of the red rocks and mountains. The size of the amphitheater is very large and would seat large groups of people during the summer months.
Had a great time seeing WEEN as my first Red Rocks show was great. They sound was perfect! And the way the rocks lit up when the sun went down made it even more breath taking.
Got to finally see the fabled Red Rocks, even tho it was empty due to covid. I can easily see why its such a great concert venue. I would imagine the acoustics here are phenomenal and the views are even better!! People were practicing social distancing while using the facility as a workout area. iam def going to make a point of catching a concert here, whenever this darn covid stuff goes away
Beautiful hikes and views! Great for your dog and the whole family!
I was nervous that my first concert at Red Rocks wouldn't match the years of hype. My expectations were blown out of the water! We saw Trampled By Turtles in July 2019 and the whole experience was fantastic from beginning to end! The acoustics, the food/drink options, the crowd, the view-all of it was a night we won't forget!
Absolutely beautiful area, great place for scenic views and exercising
Amazingly, I had never heard of this place until I was taken here by family. This place has breathtaking views and his a major feat of engineering. Just walking up the bridge and stairs made me realize how much work must have gone into building it. No one was performing the day that I visited, which allowed me to check out more of the area.
Great spot for hikes, stair climbing, & experiencing some of the most majestic scenery Colorado has to offer
Almost always a fun night out. Cant beat the music + city views
Great outdoor amplitheater! Brings in amazing bands. Acoustics are incredible. Beautiful views. Parking is terrible and very few parking spots. Get there early and wear comfortable shoes.
Great place to visit that is not far from Denver. A good history of red rocks at the visitor center.
The best place ever to see a concert. Fare warning, it's a lot of walking. Lots of steps and the altitude changes a lot.
Can t wait to actually see a concert here when covid is through because it seems like a killer venue to check out a concert
We had such an amazing time. Really can get distracted and before you know it it's been an hour or two. Love hiking there and enjoying the scenery.
Just one of the best concert venues anywhere in the world
This is really a unique and stunning space. Very cool and beautiful. A definite must see when in Denver.
Beautiful!! Get ready for a hike if you park in the lower or south lots
We travelled from Tulsa, OK to see our first Red Rocks show and it was incredible! We got flash seats tickets which made seating a breeze.. The venue was gorgeous, and I definitely hope to come back!
So gorgious and excellent museum. Also, good place for hiking and trailing if you want so. Just make sure to be there before 10am.
Sunday morning is filled with people exercising. Awesome atmosphere! I'm from Florida, I want to move out here and do that every weekend! Haha, great view, huge understatement. Breath taking to say the least
Beautiful place and worth the drive. I haven t been there for a concert but it is a really great area to walk around and do some basic hiking. The views are beautiful and it is quite impressive to see a theater constructed in the middle of the mountains. For those looking for a unique workout, come for an early run and stair climb. You certainly won t be the only one.
I m speechless. For sure one of the top 3 places outside Blackrock City to see outdoor music in the world. A must see for any music lover. It s The Edge!- according to many musicians. If you can check the underground tunnel and see the signatures of all the musicians who have been there, then you have truly been to Red Rocks.
Clearly a world class outdoor performance venue. Great sound and views everywhere. Come anytime there's no event and check out the museum (top level, round building) or test your lungs by climbing the steps. Or park near the south entrance and Hines one of the two beautiful trails to the top. You can do the first mile or so with a four year old... Just take these flatter looking trailhead, not the one that starts with stairs.
Red Rocks earned it's name, there's nothing like rocking on the rocks!
A place not to be missed on a visit to colorado. Whether its during the day to hike or just check out the view or t night to see a show, Red Rocks is a special place. I have had the pleasure of seeing several shows there and it is an experience like no other. No matter your seats, make sure to venture to the top at some point during the show to take in the full view of the show, the crowd, and the beautiful natural surroundings. It blows me away every time. It is also a special venue for the artists so there tends to be a moment in every show where they take a moment to take it all in and it tends to become emotional and a very special moment.
Also, if you are going for a show, remember a straw if you like straws or plan to get mixed drinks. They do not have straws for environmental and clean up purposes and don't really stir the mixed drinks before handing them off. No big deal if you come prepared.
This is also one of my favorite places to bring out of towners. The views during the day to someone who has never been to colorado is breathtaking and memorable. It is usually a highlight of their trip, even if just during the day. If you are trying to decide to go to a concert or just visit Red Rocks on your trip, hesitate any longer and add it to your list of to-dos!
Not only an amazing venue for concerts, beautiful scenery especially when the concerts are later at night. But overall it's just a great place to go not too far away from other restaurants or stores if you want to check those out after, definitely one of my favorite spots that's a little bit outside of Denver but not too far away to take my dog on hikes they have pretty much all easy trails and they're not too long to do if you're looking for a quick place to go and hike for a few hours.
I'm fat and had a good time. Exercise was involved but a must see.
Always a great time and great venue. A must do while in Colorado!!!!
Beautiful, can't wait to see a concert here after the covid stuff is over
Amazing venue, it's truly an awesome experience to go to a concert here or just hike the trails. Everyone I ran into there was super nice and helpful.
Everyone should enjoy a show at the world's best venue! Truly amazing!
Awesome views. There are various tourist areas great for taking pictures. People even conne ot to work out at the stadium. Parking can get a little crowded.
Beautiful but could not walk the steps because of covid.
Very neat location with many interesting hiking trails nearby. We arrived well before our concert to explore and were able to hear the bands warming up. Amazing venue and most astonishingly ample parking.
It's absolutely an amazing place. The amphitheatre is pretty huge in the middle of the mountains with a excellent view of the red rocks.
Bring your own bottled water if it's sealed you can even get it into concerts. The views are unbeatable. Vist here if you can.
Great music and great place to eat and hang out.Need tickets for the concert.
If you're going to Red Rocks, head up there an hour or two early and walk around, it's absolutely beautiful!
Red Rocks is a great place for concerts, day hikes on its many trails weaved throughout the park, and for watching sunrises. With all the history linked to this famous place, stopping by the visitors center is a must! If you're up for a hike, our favorite trail is the Trading Post Trail, which is naturally next to the Trading Post. This easy walking trail wanders its way through the towering rock formations that the Park is known for.

This is the perfect place for anything. Like Hiking or just love music. How about doing both
Scenic view and lots of trails leading to and from. The rock formations are pretty interesting, lots of people here during the summer.
Fantastic concert venue. The park is like nothing on Earth. So beautiful....so spiritual..... awe-inspiring.
Beautiful concert venue with spectacular views of Denver.
The place is awesome, grandeur with an enriching history.
Amazing, sounds system is great it's between rocks so the Eco is cool and you get to see Denver skyline as well.
I really loved the experience of being at Red Rocks. The surrounding area is beautiful and the trip to the top offered a nice view. I'm not too crazy about seeing shows here since the seating is a little odd. The GA is actually towards the back while the assigned seats are at the front.
It's a great venue for sound. But, with the way it's set up, it's not great for standing or dancing for long periods.
