Incredible venue!! We saw Trevor Noah. The audio was incredible: crystal clear!!
Amazing beauty. A wonderful place to visit you have to visit here if you're in this part of Colorado. If you can catch a concert it is really worth it. it's a nice place to hike and take walks as well. Highly recommend this place!
Always an amazing time! Beautiful view of Denver from the upper seats. Tailgating is fun meeting visitors from other states crossing the venue off their bucket list.
Grew up in CO and somehow only went to a show here a few months ago. Hands down the best venue I've ever been to. Seats can be uncomfortable but when you're seeing a good band it doesn't matter too much. Great sound, great view, and great people
Always amazing. Comedy or concert, Red Rocks is the best venue in the nation.
Exstreamly awesome place for a visit. Just be prepared for the walk up. Yes I said. Up
My first show at red rocks was RageRocks with Tauk and Lettuce and it did not disappoint.
Such an amazing venue to see a concert. Really great food and drink options as well.
The natural shape of the mountain creates an ideal sound for this man-adapted amphitheater in the middle of nowhere. The rocks are there, naturally, but the seating in amphitheater style was made quite accordingly. I wasn t there during any event, but i bet it's wonderful a concert under the stars on a clear night. I was there on a Sunday and there were dozens of people around, walking in family, exercising on the never-ending stairs, reading and meditating. Quite nice, i would go again. Certainly recommended if you're in the area.
Excellent concert venue! Probably the most beautiful and best sounding one I ve been too. (would bring seat cushions though if it s a long one)
Can I give them ten stars?!
This place is amazing. It had always been a dream to experience this venue. It is beautiful and clean and everyone was great. I saw two shows here within a week and it was great in the sunshine and even in the rain during the second show.
Really love Red Rocks. Never had the chance to go to a concert here. But hopefully soon.
Such a fabulous, beautiful venue. It might even make bands you don't like sound better.
Beautiful views. Plenty of water ways to get your cardio in by getting out and walking the trails
Gorgeous venue, and artists go all out on stage production when they're here. It's definitely a place to see a show before you die. But getting in and out is kind of awful since the venue can hold so many people, plan to be there well before and after the show if you want to be decently close. I can't speak for the ampitheatre outside of a concert though
Beautiful place. Gorgeous views, plenty of hiking. Trails get really muddy with melting snow.
BEAUTIFUL VIEWS such amazing history and films along with concerts is 100% the number one attraction people should all go see here. Highly recommend
A must visit venue in Denver, if you r lucky you could actually watch a concert there. Not only is it a place of history involving some of the greatest rock bands but also a beautiful place to see, as it cut of rock in the middle of hills and mountains.
The venue is one of a kind and it s always very clean. Security & ticket people are always nice.
Best place on the planet! There is no other outdoor concert venue in the world like this and its a great place for an evening ride.
If you have guests in town this is must share. Hike the trails to the top and take a breathtaking picture of your family. You may see deer, elk along the trails. Bring water.
Point of Geological Interest
Beautiful and serene sunset with a short hiking area does have events though and gets human crowded so best to mind when your going depending on the experience you want.
Beautiful but they close early if there's an event.
Would loved to have seen anyone of the old concert here. This is a gorgeous place.
The best place to watch a concert . Hands down. Nature and music. Enjoy!
My wife and I chose to go to Red Rocks on our Colorado vacation to see the sunrise. We got there about 15 minutes before the sun came up. It was a pretty chilly morning, so the climb up to the top got is pretty out of breathe. However, the view was spectacular. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the Denver area.
Beautiful as always, even with all of the smoke from the fires!
The best venue ever. The ambient sound can not be beat. Love this place for any concert.
looks awesome from the outside. couldn't make it inside since it was on lockdown for a concert beware the front staff said that everyday till October there was going to be concert. if you want to visit go early to be able to get in.
Amazing venue, but getting out after a concert could be better organized
What's to said other then this place is just breathtaking from the views to the hiking trails and not to mention the concerts contents
I would suggest if you have a plenty time to visit. Otherwise, I would recommend visit other places.
Outstanding performance and beautiful view of mountains
Great place for live music. Decent choice of food and beverages during the show. Get there early to get a decent parking spot or else you'll be parking on the road further way and will have to walk a little to get to the seats. Music sounds great from any seat. Trading Post/music museum is also an interesting place. You can also make a reservation at the restaurant before the show.
Beautiful amphitheatre and location. Great acoustics and such. The pros outweigh the cons, but man the cons are annoying.
There's a number of things management does or doesn't do that makes this a 4 star. I don't like how they sell so many tickets that it makes it difficult or literally impossible for everyone to sit. Queuing up and getting into the amphitheatre is something of a nightmare given the obvious amount of people attending, and this hasn't been fixed. Parking is also an exercise in irritation. It doesn't matter what show you go to, people will talk around you and walk in front of you every 10 seconds. That's a given for a lot of concerts, but you'll notice quickly that most people in attendance are more interested in filling their mouths than shutting up and listening to the music they paid for.
Come early. You really have to, to avoid the masses that don't care about music the way I do.
This is probably the single best place in the world for a musical concert or show!! We come here at least once a year!
Wonderful place, great views, easy and qucik security checks, sound quality is well too. Only slight problem is the hike up but other then that no complaints at all!!
One of the best outdoor concert venues. Assuming the weather cooperates.
Beautiful natural amphitheater near Denver. They have an amazing list of groups and individual performers that have play here including the Beatles in 1964.
I've never been up to the mountains, at least I can remember. Walking up the red rocks mountain was just an experience. At first, I was breathing a lot because I know about the altitude and... Maybe I've never been on a mountain so I was struggling. After a while, I was getting really used to it and walking ahead of everybody else. The trails are really well set up. If the trails are a little bit finicky, they at least create these large blocks for you to step on. There are harder routes, and there are easier routes. I had to take the easier route because I was with some elderly. We took our dog with us! The scenery is amazing. I stopped and took some pictures of the fauna and Flora. A lot of people brought their dogs and walked around. There wasn't a lot of trash either. And if there was trash, I would pick it up and try to find the closest trash can. (I would recommend that they add a little bit more trash cans deeper into the trails. I know that's a little bit of an issue, but I saw some trash that I had to lug around for a long time before I found any trash can to put it in. There's an easier chance if you guys just leave a trash can somewhere that is not too accessible to the wildlife).
I am so glad that we were able to make this trip happen!!
A beautiful place to visit! The red stone is amazing and the views are breathtaking. We did not actually attend an event out there but just to walk through the winding stairs and feel apart of nature was by far more enjoyable than any concert!!
Gorgeous weather, very sunny, and perfect wind. Just not enough parking in some places.
The best venue for concert/show experience!!! Ever!
Truly one of the greatest concert venues I've ever been to in the world. While I am a huge fan of the Hollywood Bowl and the niceties of five star meals in reserved boxes with tables chairs and real silverware, the raw natural elegance of Red Rocks surpasses any expensive/indulgent experience.
The night you come and unexpectedly watch a full moon rise during an amazing concert will change you....
Hiking around the park before a show or on weekends is a wonderful experience, and tailgating in the parking lot sets a good stage for a later show.
Excellent venue! Acoustics, seating and organzation. Be prepared to climb steep inclines to get inside, though.
Beautiful venue but if they lead you to a bottom parking lot you have a long haul uphill.
To be in the same beautiful awe-inspiring venue that the Beatles have played, and only a half hour drive from home - priceless. Took the in-laws here and they were absolutely gobsmacked. One day we will go to an actual concert here!
Super friendly staff, AMAZING venue and a great variety of music!
Lovely Sunday in Nov and everyone else is here . Lovely to see I'm sure a concert here would be awesome to hear!
You gotta see it to believe it. Amazing acoustics, views and most importantly the energy. Flew from NJ to experience this and it didn't disappoint. Bravo!!
This is the perfect venue can not wait to come back!
lets keep the hours updated, please. Doesn't take that much effort. Especially without a posted phone number
So beautiful it's crazy! Loved hiking and taking pictures. The event venue looked amazing. We will be back for more!
Great place to take in your surroundings, trail walk and just relax.
Wow! What a beautiful place to visit. Would love to see a concert here sometime. The Hall of Fame was very cool, too. If you enter or exit out of gate 1, there is a small drive path that leads you to an amazing view!!! I'm sure most drive right past it but I highly recommend stopping!
The best venue I have ever been to. Been twice. Highly recommend
A beautiful, geological wonder of a park. Walk around, climb the stairs, visit the visitor center, gift shop, enjoy a concert.
And it's only 20 minutes from Denver.
Amazing place, I would love to see a concert there.
I have been to many amphitheaters around the United States. Red Rocks is a amazing and it is going to have to be my number one
Best venue I ve ever been to. Probably the best in the world. Would no doubt be five stars if they would let concerts go later than 11 o clock.
Great venue and awesome park to hike in during the day.
The amphitheater is one of a kind with a stunning view of the rock fomulation and what nature has created. I was blown away at beautiful sight. We all need to experience this place, whether empty or for a concert.
Spectacular Outdoor Venue for concerts with a free museum, Starbucks-- served coffee bar and eatery.
Second day trip visit. Never fails to impress. City of Denver knows how to take care of their treasure. Can't wait to see a concert here!
Beautiful scenery and concert venue. Not the most modern, but classic open air beauty and scenery
Amazing park, and superb concert venue! Can't wait to come again.
Wow, that's a walk. If you're from lower elevations and out-of-shape, it's quite exhausting. However, beautiful.
One of the "gotta see" places in the front range. Go to a show if you are here during the concert season. Even if it isn't an artist or band you particularly love, a show at Red Rocks is hard to beat.
Use to be a place to go for great concerts...Then the residents of Morrison petitioned the park for new hours and noise restraints. Now I only go here if the concert isn't somewhere else in Colorado. Best way to describe it is building a house next to a cattle farm and forcing the farm to move because it smells like poop.
Incredible, beautiful location, to drive through or concert. Park in North lot for closest parking and get there a minimum of 2 hours before. Bring drinks and pregame in the parking lot with the rest if them. Bring water too! They don't allow removable lense cameras, so just use your cell phone for pics. It was magical. Bring a stadium style seat if you need back support, other wise it all looked like bench style cement seating.. Be prepared to spend $10 to $16 per alcoholic drink (the double lemonade was our favorite) and food about the same. One of the classiest concert venues I've been too. No craziness/drama, everyone just having a good time. Seen Tedeski Trucks, BlackBerry Smoke & Shovel & Rope on 7/26/19 <3
This place rocks, the sound is amazing. The view of the city is spectacular. Listening to good music surrounded by nature and the night sky. Be prepared to walk up stairs, lot and lots of stairs. Good food and drinks available at a reasonable rate. Was there for Worship on the Rocks featuring Elevation Worship. Mesmerizing to say the least
I grew up here with this place as my backyard and explored it as such. I came home in December of 2018 to find Colorado has changed so much that it's ruined and not Colorado anymore or at least the fun and adventurous Colorado I remember.
