What a place! Always wanted to see a concert here and I was not disappointed. Not a huge Dwight Yokum fan but that did not change the fact that this is an amazing place to experience a concert of any kind. But if your not use to the elevation make sure to bring oxygen. Lots of steps!

A majestic Venue. Rather than incorporating nature it has blended to the scenic views. All the way in the back you can see the shadow of the crowd against the mountain behind the venue.
I suggest skipping the parking lot and taking the hiking trail up if you want to see natural wildlife and more scenic views. There is parking available .along the road (quickest way out of a Sold out concert too).

A better outdoor music venue does not exist. Period.
You can go to Red Rocks the first time knowing absolutely nothing about the place through hundreds of times and it will always be a magical experience.
Do some research about where to park and when to get there and you'll make new friends in the parking lot, guaranteed!
Tell all your friends you are going and make them jealous!

Always great here except when it hails on your concert. I've been to a lot of venues and this one takes the cake. Only hate it when it's GA and people are rude and block your view when you have been standing there for over an hour already. #ConcertLife.

We stopped here while visiting Colorado and were completely blown away! The landscape and scenery is indescribable and beyond beautiful; nothing I have ever seen in the Midwest! We went early in the morning around 7:30 and there were numerous yoga and exercise classes enjoying and utilizing the amphitheater steps, people jogging on the trails, hikers with their dogs, etc. The Trading Post, Colorado Music Hall of Fame, Ship Rock Grille (yes, even the restrooms) were really nice, clean, and well maintained, with a friendly staff. You can tell lots of money and pride has gone into the park, and it shows. Overall, it was such a serene, peaceful place, with out of this world 360 views! I love that you can go there any time of day for free with free parking. I cannot wait to visit again for a concert as they say, "to see the stars."

It's was an amazing venue. However I have never been to a concert their. I stopped by to check it out. You can see the Denver city from the top of the entrance of the amphitheater. If you have a chance to go a concert at the Red Rocks amphitheater you should definitely do it

Is so crazy, you go into the mountains and it's its own type of mountain within the mountains. Beautiful place and lots of music memorabilia inside. Also there's a restaurant, gift shop and a Starbucks for your basic b cravings.

Cannot say enough about this place! Its beautiful... They have beverages AND food. Enough bathrooms you aren't waiting for too long and people that walk around with beer for sale! Love it!!

Have attended many shows at Red Rocks. Not a bad seat in the house. A must do if in Denver during the summer. 3rd row for Lyle Lovett and Ricky Skaggs. Great seats at great price. Lyle came out as a fan and watched Ricky from the wings. Full moon, great friends!

Red Rocks is home for me. Whether it is for a concert, for a midday walk, or an early sunrise, as a Colorado native I cannot stress enough how worth it this venue is.
The people that travel from the corners of the earth can explain that to you though.
Just please...pick up your trash.

Red Rocks Amphitheater is a must see when you visit Colorado! The views are absolutely breath taking. I will warn you it is a little bit of a hike to get up to the theater, but well worth the climb. We did not see a concert while we were visiting but will be back for a show in the near future!

This is a pretty awesome place to go to a concert. It s also has a neat small hike, museum, and art gallery (right now). The gift shop is pretty neat. The only thing that got me is if you park in the top parking lot and then do the hike, you have a massive hill to ascend to get back to your car.

We were not in a mood for a big hike. We wanted to roam around and see the area. Red Rocks was amazing. We got some stairs in and had a great time looking through the area. They. have elevators and bathrooms. We didnt pay to park or see the exhibits. Better news is that on days where there are no events you can take your pet with you.

As a last minute choice we had a layover for a day in Denver and we ended up stopping by here. There was a concert about to happen so we couldn t actually get to the theater part for a quick peek. None the less it is a beautiful area and if you are there for sunset even more.

Beautiful! Short hikes and a lot of steps will give you a great cardiovascular workout! Free to park and hike if there's no concert. Tons of music history in the museum and gift shop. Very cool!

One of the best venues anywhere for live music. The acoustics at Red Rocks are spectacular. Even in the back rows, you're able to hear bands perfectly clear. This venue is also worth checking out during the day - lots of scenic overlooks of the foothills and Denver skyline. If you're into fitness, this is one of the best spots to get a workout under the sun!

Great concert... but what earned 5 stars was the staff! She is handicapped and in a wheelchair. The staff, All staff was courteous, kind and helpful! It really helped make our evening very enjoyable!

I was only there for an hour to walk around, but the venue is amazing. The view from the stage-area is incredible, and the rocks are larger than life!

Another amazing thing is the museum that runs through the "underground" portion of the park. The museum speaks of who has played at Red Rock, and even has show listings of every year from at least the last 20 years!

The only reason I gave it four stars is that I haven't seen a concert there, so I haven't been able to witness it's full glory.

Overall, would totally suggest a visit!

We were in CO visiting family and Red Rocks was one of our last day's activity. We kept it simple and just had lunch in the amphitheater and people watched. So many fitness enthusiasts utilizing the seating as training! The park is filled with rocks and cliffs that differ from the surrounding environment. We didn't do any of the trail walking while there, but I hope to be back one day to do so. If you're within an hour, it's worth a visit.

Hands down, BEST venue I have ever been to in my life. Bathrooms are very tough to get to, aside from that, unbelievable sites and views. The accoustics bounce off the huge rocks and every seat in the house is worth it. See this in your life!!

Huge ampitheatre, great history, great stair workout. Really enjoyed the open layout and being able to go almost anywhere here. One picture from the top looking down and one from the stage looking up.

Amazing views! We enjoyed a meal in the grille. There was a sold out concert that evening which meant the grille and visitors center closed at 2:30. It worked well for us since we arrived before noon and were able to complete the Trading Post trail loop. Moderate path with lots of scenery.

We survived the red rock Amphitheatre stairs. Boy those were something of a challenge. We will definitely be back!

I absolutely adore red rocks. Greatest outdoor venue in the US. Tons of room and great views. It's an amazing place to see concerts, work out, and just enjoy the outdoor events. Sometimes it's a bit too busy but hey that's showbiz baby

Can be pretty busy on the weekends, but it's a fun easy trail with good views. Walking around the amphitheatre is fun also but lots of stairs obviously. Dog friendly if there are no events going on if you have them leashed. Lots of good photo opportunities.

I love it there! There was only one thing that bothered me... Despite the signs, there were lots of people smoking pot. But that isn't Red Rocks fault. I highly recommend going there for a concert or something else!

Absolutely one of a kind music experience. Great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options as well as food. Parking and overall transportation can be an absolute nightmare. Definitely be aware of items you can and cannot bring in as you may be forced to toss it.

This is the most beautiful Amphitheatre in the entire world. The most frustrating thing is how long it takes to leave the Amphitheatre. If you had Personnel directing traffic, we would all get out of this place safely and efficiently. Thanks, love you Red Rocks.

the Native American history that used to be incorporated in the museum are is gone. I m wondering why only partial history is being told. I would also like to know how John walker came to own the land. Seems much of the older history of red rocks is missing.

Started enjoying red rocks in 2007 went to global dance festival and got to see one of my favorite trance djs of all time (Tiesto) and then three days later I got to see my favorite show so far ,DAFT PUNK ALIVE !!! Also was able to witness BASSNECTAR more than a few times as well as ABOVE AND BEYOND. Today was a little icey, also lots of snow but the air was fresh and the views are breathtaking. Can't wait to attend another show on the rocks !!!!!!

This is the most breathtaking and acoustically beautiful place to take in your favorite music, shows, whatever. The only bad thing is getting outta the parking lot afterwards, the hike up if you parked way in the back and it ruins any other venue, there after. Stay safe!

Unparalleled music venue, only the Gorge comes close in my personal opinion. Unfortunately the sound ordinance passed by the city of Morrison prevents any artists from playing even to midnight on the weekends :(
