Great place to go lovely rock formations and amazing views
I love red rocks. The traffic during special occasions for the amphitheater is rough but the park itself is amazing
The most amazing place on Earth! It's just beautiful. Cool hiking trail, very approachable for a beginner but not too boring for the more advanced folks. As a concert venue, there's just nothing like it. The sun sets behind the stage and there is no such thing as a bad seat.
Ive never had a bad experience here! absolutely beautiful'
This natural amphitheatre is very nice. Lot of people train here on the steps.
Been here many times for concerts and movies. Great venue, has plenty of parking but be prepared for a small hike depending on where do park. Bench seating, beautiful views, draws great musicians and events.
Beautiful view, worth the drive. Museum was very interesting.
On a nice summer night. Red Rocks can't be beat. I was up in the nosebleeds enjoying a Yo-Yo Ma concert. The Acoustics are incredible. A couple of times I could swear I was wearing headphones. It's not hot and muggy like an auditorium. Remember to bring something comfortable to sit on.
The sounds is awesome. Saw Rebelution tonight. Definitely work it
Bucket-list-worthy venue for any fan of live music, great place for a workout
RVers...There is a long winding path for all ages around these beautiful rocks that wind down and then up the other side. You can walk downhill and get picked up at the bottom if you scout it out on the drive up. Not easy to level in the dirt lot at the top without fancy levelers. Sound carries here so even the town sets the speed limit very low. Long walk, and joggers abound.
It's the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre! What more do you need to know. Great venue to see concerts!!! One of the best in the country...
Sooo pretty! Nice little walk too. Went when there wasn t a show during the day & it was nice!
Great place, love the interaction the audience has with the movie. Too bad if you get side seats there will be a pole in your sight.
Red Rocks is a Colorado institution. A landmark. A place where memories are formed with friends and loved ones. Whether you re doing yoga, hiking, or attending a concert/event the natural beauty of the area and close proximity to the city can t be beat.
Parking can be an issue for larger events or busy times, but it s definitely worth the headache. Tailgating is a time honored Colorado tradition.
Beautiful View. Amazing Entertainment. Great work out. Enjoyed every step.
Best music venue I've been to hands down.
Saw bluegrass green sky, didn't realise I was a bluegrass fan but get the feeling you could watch two cats fighting here and it would still be great!
Top of my list for venues. Nothing like being outdoors looking out over south Denver and the plains beyond while listening to live music. Be ready for some hiking and arrive early for closer parking.
Gorgeous views and photo opp...... April was still pretty dang cold.
Beautiful place! From the drive up to the theater to exploring the area ---this is a definite stop for first timers. Great venue. Hope to attend a concert there soon!
Been to a few shows here since I moved and the acoustics are out of this world! No matter what time of day it is, it has a beautiful backdrop and the place is super easy to get around! Not a bad spot for a little hike before a concert too! Make sure to checkout the museum between shows, totally free and open at night when concerts are on!
WOW!!! A MUST SEE! This amphitheatre is located in one of the best places for outdoor music concerts! The topography is absolutely breathtaking, and there are restaurants, there is the Music Hall of Fame gift shop that is really great, the whole area is so beautiful, we had a fantastic time with our 1.5 year old grandson running around and experiencing the walking trails that abound! We will definately be going back there many times!!
Whats not to love? Amazing views, awesome that the seats are cut right into the rocks. Only thing that isn't great is the hike to get into the venue, but once you're in, you'll forget all about that part!
Great venue with tons of history! Bring your walking shoes and oxygen tanks LOL! Tons of stairs... I recommend not taking a three and a half mile hike the same day you plan on going to Red Rocks... 2 days later my legs are still sore.
Park up top if you don t want to walk all the way up. Entrance 1 I think?
You must go during the day when they're are no concerts. Check out the museum. Stand on the stage. Climb the stairs. Such an amazing place :-)
If you are going to see some music in Colorado, this is the place! A natural amphitheater magically situated in the sandstone rocks overlooks the city that creates an amazing juxtaposition. Show up early enough to tailgate, the views! I recommend getting actual assigned seats if that is available, otherwise you are fending for a seat and there might not be one! Or be early enough that is not an issue. Pack a blanket or bring stadium chairs for back support if you need that. Oh, they do play rain or shine so bring layers and a rain coat option, you never know!
What a beautiful venue for any show. Eat at the Grill before the show. If not there are a few places to get a bite. I'm to tailgate before the show. Many...many stairs!
I can imagine how good any performance would be here. Not just great Acoustics but natural beauty as well! Who could ask for more.
What an incredible venue! World famous, acoustically unlike anywhere on earth, that's used for the same thing. Dress appropriately, make personal comfort a priority, it's a memory thats unforgettable.
We visited during COVID. For the distance from Denver, it's nice as a stopping point. But if you plan on traveling to national parks or etc, not much value in coming here. Unless you want to see the stage for some type of sentimental value. People were exercising (kudos to them). However since it's easy to drive to, it means it's more wheelchair accessible than other locations where you can see the famous red rock type of landscape. They've got restrooms. Also they were serving food (?) somehow during COVID. I didn't have any but it did smell very good.
Great place with plenty of space to watch the sunrise in denver. In the mornings, the top parking lot is open to public and is very close to the amphitheater where you can see the sunrise in the background
Amazing venue for music! The sound is incredible and the views are breathtaking! I went with my hubby and a friend and we were in awe the whole time. The rock formations around the whole Amphitheatre on the way up and down are a sight to see! What a great place to hike too. You do climb many stairs on your way up to the Amphitheatre but you can also drive to the top as they have a place for handicap parking. Everybody else is required to park in the lower level parking lots and they will make you go all the way down behind the line if you try to use the handicap lot. The stairs are easy, take your time and admire the view. Be sure to bring warm clothing for at night when the temperature drops. There is food and beverages at the top around the Amphitheatre. They will confiscate food, beverages, alcohol, drugs, etc. if you try to bring them in to the amphitheatre as they search every bag. You can bring in a clear baggie with sliced fruit for a baby/child if need be. If you are anywhere near Denver or Wheat Ridge or Golden, you must go to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison as it is, in my opinion, one of the Seven Wonders of the World!
Great place to see a concert or workout in the morning running the steps.
Great place to experience a concert. The ambiance is fantastic. Bring a jacket. Be prepared to hike, up! My favorite music venue.
Incredible view from a top of Red Rocks Park, in Colorado.
Best venue, great acoustics and a view of Denver in the background. Breath taking on many levels.
Nice Amphitheatre.
Natural red rocks and nice natural rocks and very good trail.
One of the most beautiful natural scenic spots along the front range and one of the best concert venues in the world.
The most amazing place in the all nation. I love red rocks. Awesome place..... Great workout place as well.
No complaints. First time to the Denver area. For someone who doesn't care to hike, the trails are well labeled and easy to navigate. Overall a great park! Better be in shape to handle the trails and stairs. It's a lot and you're in the mountains! Otherwise, be safe and enjoy!
Saw Gary Clark Jr. Show and atmosphere were both amazing.
Very cool setting. Not an easy climb to your seats though.
AMAZING venue! Great natural acoustics for shows. Very cool for hiking with kiddos also.. Trails arefairly easy with beautiful views and unique history!
Amazing and all the music history. I learned a lot so amazing.
This was my second time to Red Rocks, but first time for a show (Vulfpeck - so so good). Go for a show. Period. The place is beautiful if you're going to check it out a tourist spot, but you're really missing out if you don't see a show.
We were worried about the forecast, rightly so, it snowed and was in the 30s most of the evening, but it didn't damper our evening. We put on jackets (both beer and winter coats) and had a great time. We tailgated a bit before the show. When we headed in the line was incredibly long and slow moving. So if you don't want to miss anything, get in line early.
Iconic venue! Loved seeing who has played at Red Rocks over the years.
Beautiful place, we were unable to get into the Amphitheater, however the views were amazing.
Absolutely stunning rock formations. This concert venue is world renowned for live filming of music due to its excellent acoustics.
Good place to take friends when they come from out of town. Capturing the some of the shear beauty of Denver, Colorado
Maybe the greatest live music venue in the world, no exaggeration. Beautiful view, great sound. It can get windy, but sometimes that just enhances the feeling. Even if you can't make a concert, stop by for the hiking and incredible view. They have cool events like movie nights that are worth checking out too.
Beautiful area, nice easy hike for beginners. Very touristy area though. We also were able to participate in a drum circle while were at the amphitheater which was a unique experience.
One of the best outdoor venues in the world without question. Get there early and enjoy the stairs.
Close to the city. Had only been there for concerts before. Pleasantly surprised and awed by how it looks in the daytime. Magnificent rocks, overlooks and trails. Some concessions available.
If you have respiratory issues, remember this while walking around and exploring: What goes down must come back up.
Best venue for concerts!! I absolutely love the view of the city at night that you see when you go all the way to the top!
There is no better place to see a concert or a movie. If you have not been, go.
Wow! This place is beautiful. I was here on a trip and just stopped by to visit. There is also a great museum underneath.
This venue is absolutely amazing. I was here with no concert but the scenic views are gorgeous! Would love to see a concert here sometime. The muesem is free to enter and you should take a look. It shows every act that has played here and when they played. Oh yeah...i saw where they do an Easter sunrise service every year...i bet that would be beautiful. Everyone should see this place at some point in their lives. I gotta come back for a show!!!
Interesting place, good view from the top!! Atleast be there in summer for more fun...
An absolutely amazing concert venue. We planned our trip to Denver around a concert here, and it was truly worthwhile!
The venue is an iconic one that I have seen in pictures many times, but they do no do it justice until you are in the amphitheater. Acoustics are great, and the view is amazing!
A little rain did nothing to ruin such a great experience!
Loved this place. The CCC did an awesome job. Take photos. Even better go to a concert here!
This is the most amazing place to see music. I've traveled out here from Wisconsin three times. Even if you've seen the group before it won't be like red rocks. Even in the down pouring rain it's worth it. It's also an amazing place to go for a run.
Amazing venue. We hiked the park during the day. We caught Old Dominion concert at night. If you are a concert goer this is a venue you need to catch.
Back in 1984 I was refused the opportunity and my right to graduate from Bear Creek, it was my second return to the venue for... a graduation. This place takes ur breathe away literally. Wish I was here back then. Two words "Love Trump" haters hate
Red rocks is such an epic place to see a concert!!! The views are spectacular and the atmosphere is so fun. Definitely worth it!!
Best outdoor music venue in the United States. If not the whole world. It was a spiritual experience
One of the coolest places to see a concert. Beer lines are long but you should expect that. Take an Uber/Lyft and skip crappy parking.
I love nature and hands down this venue is really nice and beautifully packed with nature 360 degrees. I came here to observe nature and it was lovely. I can only imagine how nice it will be with an event going on.
Hiking trials surrounds this venue and trading post trial is right on the lower left hand side. I hiked the trial and it was nice and easy but wearing appropriate attires is a must to avoid slipping and falling!
As a native of Colorado this is my favorite place to see shows. You can't go wrong with the sound and visually pleasing surroundings. I worked there years ago and enjoyed it very much. Everyone should see a show here at least once in their life
Have a fantastic time at Funk on the Rocks. Staff was a little too pushy when they didn't need to be but you understand because they have to deal with quite a lot. As a suggestion Maybe build bathrooms midway as walking up-and-down those stairs is murder.
Such a beautiful venue. It made a very memorable concert experience.
This place is seriously phenomenal and a MUST see before you die. Keep an eye on your favorite bands, and when they are playing, so you can go see them in this amazing spot. Make sure to check out the museum as well. If I lived in Denver, I would be here every night.
So amazing! This place definitely lives up to the hype. Get there early for good GA seats....plenty of people tailgate and even bring food into the venue!
Beautiful , peaceful sunrise with such uplifting energy
Red Rocks is often hyped as the BEST outdoor concert venue in the U.S. Is it? Quite possibly yes is the short answer. Denver's lights twinkle in the distance, the red rock walls are lit up at night, food and drinks are reasonably priced, and everyone is happy.
Wow! I visited from out of state and must say is definitely worth seeing. Such a beautiful scene and view of nature. Only got to walk the trail but will definitely have to come back to see a concert.
Beautiful views, peaceful vibe. Be ready for a good hike!
Very cool place, definitely worth the drive and the the steep (but short) hike
Saw the Avett Brothers there on a perfect summer night. Great acoustics and beautiful view. General Admission seating was fine - glad we didn't spend the extra money.
Its a great place for a walk with a view, went to concert last year and wow what an experience...
Seen tech n9ne kriss kaclico jellyroll omg jelly roll 2nd time seeing tech and kriss but seen godemis and ubi travis ogwen and rittz wanted to see king iso at the meet and greet but nope he came out on stage and did a amazing psa about suicide prevention and to top it off i got tto see kriss sign with strange again it was a epic night that me and my wife where a part of
