I have been wanting to see a concert at the Red Rocks for a long time and finally was able to. The view did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly. The rocks were beautiful at night when they were lit up. Some of the fans were a bit of an annoyance, but you can't control others behavior. It was over all a fun experience.

What a great place to hike. The trails are well marked and there are maps available in the gift shop. The views are some of the best I've seen in Colorado. If you are visiting the area be sure to check this one out

Awesome opportunity to see world class music at a world class venue. If you can't score a ticket to a show, do a hike, take in the free museum or just come people watch. On a typical day, no matter the weather, you will be entertained by the creative excercise routines of the many who use the ampitheater seating as their gymnasium.

Venue is beautiful. Seats were uncomfortable even with a blanket (bring good, padded cushions). Also, with a sold-out concert, space was very tight (so not large cushions). Those two things could be somewhat forgivable (at the very least, I kind of expected them from prior concerts there), but the parking management was very poor. There was no communication about which lots were full and so you just had to endure the long queue of cars and find out when you arrived at each lot. We arrived at the entrance 45 minutes early but because of parking issues, had to park a mile away (along the side of the road) and ended up not getting to our seats until 15 minutes into the concert (long, slow queue of cars, multiple discoveries of full lots, and a mile-long hike up open space trails). If you drive, get there much earlier (like 1.5-2h early if the concert is sold out), otherwise, use an Uber or a taxi. But honestly, lack of basic communication about where parking is still available, is just poor management (they even seemed to have plenty of staff present). So -2 stars for that.

Paid over $200 for tickets and had to park nearly outside the facility. It takes an hour to drive into Red Rocks from the entrance to the parking lots because of the event staff. They should make the roads one way and use both lanes! I'm never going there again. Not worth it. Also, if you aren't in shape it's not for you. The walk from my "parking space" on the side of the road to the stage was literally a mile up hill.

My 2 friends and I attended Yoga on the Rocks this morning and was highly disappointed. The placement of people was great! Where they lost us is with the new and unexpected rule of wearing a mask while settled on your mat. As stated by Governor Polis, there is no need for a mask while exercising outdoors. It was very inconsiderate of them not to send out a notice by email and/or offer a full refund. When we signed up, there was no sign of a warning for that. All of the other outdoor yoga events have not required that. It was nearly impossible to breathe and in conjunction with the heat we nearly passed out.

Great venue for concerts. Need a better means of being able to get to the amphitheater besides all those steps! Most of the crowd is a mature audience and the steps are quite a chore to navigate. Always opt for the upper parking lot!

Saw Vampire Weekend here. Red rocks is obviously a great venue. The acoustics are amazing and the museum of all the bands that have played there before is awesome. They sell beer, lemonade, things like that. Everyone was just there to have fun, and the bands played so well, even though it was freezing. If you haven't been to a concert here, you're really missing out. Go buy tickets!

Will never go there again. Been there three times, each time was horrible. Shut it down. Awful idea for a venue. At least put in an elevator or escalator, and put a building around it, and a parking space somewhere in the same county. Just, get rid of the place. I'm a Colorado Native and never understood the appeal. Overvalued to the max! I think people don't actually like concerts or places like this, they just think they have to say they like this nonsense, or that it makes them seem fun, or rugged, or ooooh sooo Colorado. I think you're all big fat liars, because this place is horrible. You're lucky I don't get my way all the time, because I'd tear it down, and build a giant shopping center, with golf carts to wosh around in. A shopping center filled with trinkets, a tea bar, and Takis.

Went early May to see Primus and Mastodon. It was absolutely amazing! Can't believe I went this long without seeing this beautiful place. Already have a few more tickets already bought for future shows there and I can't wait.

Ok, what is there not to like about this location? I mean seriously, this is probably one of the best concert venues in the United States. The location is so unique that it really does stand in a category of its own. The ability to see the Denver skyline in the background while listening to some great music is an experience everyone must try, at least once. Most artists will make a stop through here at one point in their career. Don t miss it.

I've seen some of the best views of my life, but when I came here, it was absolutely breathtaking. You won't get a better sight than this place. With the condition that the world is facing now, things are very limited. You can still walk in different directions to see more views and hike in another part of the park. You won't be disappointed and I can't thank my uber driver enough for recommending this place.

Always a GREAT time. Even if it's not for a show, still an awesome place to check out. But I do highly recommend attending a show here as there's no experience quite like it. I've seen rappers, country artists, even movies and yoga.... So. Much. Fun.

Do I even have to rate this venue? It's the best concert venue in the world, hands down. Tons of food up top on the plaza, beer and concessions throughout. Just remember they cut alcohol 1 hour before the end of the event. South lot is known to be the local party lot. It just SUCKS walking the south ramp, then you start at the bottom of the stairs.

It was just a great place to go and wind down, or wind up if you decide to work out at the amphitheatre. Otherwise just hiking and overall nature is nice to be around. There are bathrooms without doors, so don't be shy. Bring snacks to keep you moving. It's not out of the way and worth a visit if you're in the area and like looking at rocks.

This is my first time I being to red rocks,it was awsome, only they didn't let us go first parking lot, we park on street, when we went up from stairs my husband almost had strokes, even we told them it is hard for my husband to get from stairs they didnt care, they said every body need park on street then they are going open first parking lot, even we told them we are going meet our friends on first parking lot,any way other wise everything was good

Amazing venue! I don't like it as much as I used to. You can barely hear the music now that there is a noise ordinance. It is still beautiful to go to and visit. You can climb the stairs during the weekdays and weekends before shows start. There's also a yoga series during the summer that starts at 7am.

How does this place not have 5 stars rating here? I've been here many times and it's always been super fun. Could there even be a better place to watch concerts etc.? Maybe, but this is the coolest place I've ever watched bands play.

I'm pretty sure people today couldn't be convinced to build a musical amphitheater made with nature like is here today but thank goodness it was built because it's awesome!

I grew up in Colorado and Red Rocks Amphitheatre is hands-down the best music venue I have ever experienced. The acoustics between the rocks create an hub of sound that you can feel in your body and the space per seat is generous so there is room for dancing and rocking out. The quality of the concert is always dependent on the band because this place hasn't changed in the last 30 years I've been going there. If you live here or are visiting, you must attend a concert at Red Rocks to say you saw what Denver has to offer. One of a kind in the world.

Bucket List Alert!! Anyone who is a lover of concert-going and has yet to take in a show at this majestic venue, please add it to your list of must-go destinations, you will not be disappointed. Red Rocks is a special place, most likely because it is comprised of naturally occurring rock formations, created by Mother Nature herself. This makes for great acoustics and spectacular views. I live on the East coast but have been to five shows there since 2013, including (in order of first attended) Steely Dan, NIN w/ Soundgarden, MUSE, Nine Inch Nails again, and most recently, Stevie Wonder.

Feed your soul and experience the vibe at the great live music venue on the planet Earth.

Breathtaking views of the Denver area, iconic landmarks, and lovely moderate hike up the hill among boulders (including one that looks like Calvin's profile). Would explore for hours, and only a short drive from the city.

Best music venue in the US. Sure, getting out of the parking lot sucks. The view and sound is incredible, and it's small so there are less than 10,000 people sharing the experience with you

Beautiful place. The views are amazing. There are also hiking trails and a museum & gift shop here. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't been here. If you visit on a day that a band is playing they shut down the amphitheatre to the public so if you want to see it come earlier in the day.

What a memorable venue! I ve lost count of how many shows I ve been lucky enough to see at Red Rocks, but every single one is so very special.

The acoustics are stellar. They now have a first come first serve with front row reserved seats so if you really love an artist or group, you can buy GA and arrive when the doors open.

The scenery around you is breathtaking. You can even see downtown Denver in the distance.

Red Rocks it self is a very beautiful, and could even say stunning park that is located in very convenient place. Being close to Denver, everyone has access to it whenever they want to. Even if you don't have too much time in your pocket, you can still swing by and see the beauty of Colorado from the Red Rocks. They do have shows and concerts every so often which you have to look for on the website. Can be very fun and great experience there!
