Definitely something you need to experience in Colorado, but after having been there about 10 times it's about the last place I want to go to a concert anymore. Parking's a hassle, getting in the amphitheater is a hassle, and no intimacy whatsoever. I'd rather go pretty much anywhere else.

Absolutely beautiful set up. Went to see Norah Jones and there were amazing views but it was a little hard to enjoy without any actual seat or me getting a splinter. Maybe update the seating? And upgrade the screens so that everyone can have a chance to see the show?

What an amazing venue. We saw one of our favorite band the other night, RailRoad Earth. So with that combination, how could you go wrong. During intermission, the sky's opened up. The show resumed after it was safe and no more lightning. The staff is always happy and professional. Thanks for an amazing night out.

The most amazing, spectacular, beautiful, and one of a kind outdoor concert venue I've ever been to. You are truly missing out if you've never seen a concert at Red Rocks. Some of my favorite memories are concerts at Red Rocks! Be prepared to walk a lot, and climb many, many stairs even if you have front row seats. Get there early to get great parking and tailgate before the show!

Amazing place. Everyone has seen photos but nothing compared to actually being there. If you have never been I strongly encourage you to go. Not only for Red Rocks but for everything else that is in this amazing area. When there are no concerts scheduled or if it is during the winter months the venue is still open to the public and the grill is still open as well, the grill is a little pricey. The entry to the venue us free. My wife and I enjoyed our time here just to see the area and tour the museum.

The park was so much fun! I hiked a totally of 6.4 miles over various trails in the Red Rocks Park and Matthews/Winters parks. The trails were well labeled and there were information stations at major trail junctions. My only wish is for there to be more drinking water stations..it gets really hot and a good portion of the village walk is in direct sun. I will definitely being a water backpack for my next long hike.

Beautiful place, drive was very nice into the central location. The amphitheater was closed for sound check at 2pm in the afternoon on a Saturday..kind of inconvenient for people who are visiting from out of town, as the theater is the reason we are visiting! The museum was cool. Great scenery aside from that

Best venue in Denver to watch live music. Possibly the best in the world. If you are in Denver in the summer do yourself a favor and check out a show at Red Rocks. The setting and natural accoustics make even mediocre acts an amazing experience. Food is acrually pretty good and they sometimes even have cocktails for sale as well as the typical beer. Also for an outdoor amphitheatre everything from the bathrooms to the benches are meticulously clean. I cannot sing Red Rocks praises enough.

Each time I've been here I've been a lift driver dropping people off for bigging people up. There are plenty of people directing traffic and thou-shalt-not go a different way other than their intended path of movement. This place gives you the feel of being in the mountains when you're really only a 100 yd outside of the city of Morrison. Not a lot of dining opportunities within a couple miles of here other then I might recommend the barbecue place in Morrison

Flew from Seattle for the night to see the Above & Beyond concert. The venue was perfect. There's not a bad seat in the house. Make sure to go to the top if you want your experience to include awesome views.

Definitely a place I am glad I visited while in Denver. We did not watch a concert there, but just visiting it and walking to the top was an experience. if you're planning a visit make sure there is not a concert going on in the evening otherwise you will not be able to go in after 2 p.m. people who struggle walking long distances or inclines can find a parking lot a little closer to the top.

In complete awe. Pictures do this place no justice. You have to experience this for yourself. I will put these pics on here but honestly, these did not capture the beauty and "WOW-ness" factor. The rocks are more rich in color and bigger than life.

Holy cow! If you are ever interested in seeing a live performance surrounded by towering rocks and under a blanket of stars, then you should go. Definitely tailgate in the parking lot before the show, the prices inside are a bit high...

If you haven't been to a concert here yet, you're missing out. The single best concert venue I've ever been to. My sister and I have made a point to attend one at Red Rocks annually for the past 7 years. Beyond that, it's a wonderful place to hike very scenic.

Awesome views. Cool amphitheater. Be ready to go up the stairs; roughly >100 steps, but when you get up there, it is so worth it. Also, did not expect to hike around the amphitheater, did not wear proper shoes for hiking, by the time i got to the car, feet was hurting. But the hike is highly recommended (with proper shoes)

Busy but worth it! Tons of hiking & geological hot spots. From tots to the young at heart it's worth a drive, hike, or just a view. They have restrooms available & a few viewing areas that are wheelchair accessible. We picniced with no problem in one of several pavilions.

It's Red Rocks! If you don't already know how awesome this place is, don't expect me to ruin the surprise for you with a review. But seriously, go to there. Right Meow. It's the bees knees. By far one of the coolest venues on the planet. This planet (Earth), mind you. I have no idea what kind of venues exist where you're from. The only thing cooler than this place is maybe something that involves zero gravity? No idea, but this place is great.

What can I say that no one else has already expressed.....BEST PLACE EVER! Until you experience a concert at Red Rocks you won't "get it" so I highly recommend you do! Don't worry, we didn't understand why people would say that to us either until we saw our first concert there a few years ago. Yep, totally worth every penny. All the seats are good even the general seating. Unless you are seeing a kids concert, I wouldn't recommend kids going since there is a lot of drinking and pot smoking.

Red Rocks is still the best place to see a concert! I love the venue, the scenery, the vibe, even the long walks. My mom used to take me here when I was a little kid, and now I take my kids, and when my grandkid is old enough, I'll take him too. Love this place, many great memories.

Beautiful location. Hundreds of people here, many exercising, and "running the stairs". I went into the visitor center, and they had photos of many of the bands who have performed there. Beatles. Eagles. Every band that was big during my high school and college years. A worthwhile stop.

Probably best venue for a concert in Colorado that I've been too. Also nice to be able and go there and watch the movies they play during the summer. Great place to go to get excerise and has awesome views and trails all around.

This area is a wonderful choice for families or people wanting to hike a cool spot without too much difficulty. The views of the red rocks and the mountains are awesome, not to mention the fact that there s a whole concert venue right in a mountainside! Cool stuff.

Saw a Styx concert here; I ve been to hundreds of concerts throughout North America and ha DPS down, this is my favorite venue. Beautifully sculpted out of the mountainside rock, great acoustics, fresh air. Styx were awesome as usual!

Absolutely amazing location great view of city at night..awsome sound, hands dwn best outdoor venue in U.S..other on sight attractions museum vary nice too. Lower parking requires quite a walk followed by agressive grade of stairs may be slightly overwhelming for persons with recent ,current,or recovering injuries might want to request drop off at top venue enterence however it is all vary worth it truy bucket list worthy..will certinly return !!! Have Fun Enjoy the Show!!!

The sound reverberating off the amphitheatre is amazing! The staff are friendly. The only real issue that I have, is that I paid for reserved seats and every time we went to the bathroom and came back, there were people standing where our seats were - some of them didn't want to leave! There is a huge difference in price between general admission and reserved seating, AND it's so easy to check tickets... the staff did it before the bands started - why not during the shows???

There is no better ! Though, before they cut seat numbers in the hardwood stands, pushed by the greedy promoters, it was one of the most spectacular, (and still is) the coolest venue on the planet. Note: I grew up by Red Rocks, and even had our High School graduation there. It is deffinetly one for your bucket list ! Remember, weather changes fast in Colorado so come prepared.Pad to sit on, an extra shirt and a cheep,, fold up rain slicker ! Oh ya, fill your pockets with sealed pocket munchies. They pat almost everyone down upon entering. So stash your stuff well ! Rock On !

The Park closed at 1:30pm for a 7:00 pm Concert without ANY communication of that on the Park website! Dozens of out of town visitors were VERY upset including me! We need visit the Trading Post and took beautiful pictures of the Red Rock formations and hence the 2 stars. They are simply breath taking! Who ever decided to close the Park & Amphitheatre at 1:30 pm for a 7:00 Concert, thanks for nothing!!! Ugh!
