It's the best concert venue in the state, and possibly the country. Great acoustics and view. The only thing that causes me to dock a star is the parking. Over the last year they seem to have brought in a parking contractor, and they've completely ruined tailgating. You used to be able to more or less pick your lot, with some obvious set-asides for accessibility. The early bird could get the worm, and tailgate in a great spot. Now, they seemingly randomly cut off access to the upper lots, making people park on the road before they open the lots. If you show up late, you may actually get better access to parking locations than people who planned ahead. PLEASE go back to the way you were doing it!

Beautiful hiking trails! Went there in the early evening and it was definitely the place to be! There were small groups out hiking and lots of people running and exercising on the amphitheater steps. Trail map was easy to find and download to my phone

One of the best places to see a concert in the world. Absolutely jaw dropping natural amphitheater. If you enjoy music make sure you go, a definite bucket list event. If music is not your jam you can just drive up and walk around for free

Haven't seen a concert here yet. But it's a fun place to workout. If you run/walk each row from the top down to about the 17th row, you'll have traveled roughly 2 miles. Run the surrounding trails and explore the area.

If you're ever going to be in the area and there is a band you are remotely interested in.... I highly recommend seeing a concert here! This has to be the most unique amazing concert venue in the country!

Went to see a show at Red Rocks and the only words I can use for this place is just breathtaking. Absolutely gorgeous to be at as the sun sets and even better at night with the light fixtures on the rocks.

Amazing outdoor venue in a beautiful park, that you're free to roam about or workout in when there's not a show. New additions to upper level parking, and expanded bathroons are a very welcome addition to this busy park!

One of the greatest venues I've been to if not the best. Nothing like being out in the outdoors and watching a good performance. Friendly people around you and good place to walk around. Definitely a 10/10.

Great place for a hike or some hill climbs on bike. Beautiful area! Runners can get a good hill repeats workout also. The 1.5 mile trail is easy and takes about 30 minutes, super kid friendly. We were visiting and took the kids here for a quick hike and they all enjoyed it. Definitely recommend to anyone with a few hours to kill.

Everything I had hoped for and more. The views are fantastic and the acoustics were awesome. The crowd energy was amazing. I have seen nothing like it.
When I bought the tickets, I opted to purchase the shuttle from Denver's Union station. I was happy I did, traffic up there is pretty tight. One note, the shuttle buses park in the lower lot 2 so there is a hike to the venue. You can catch a free shuttle from the trading post, but you have to get to the post from the lower lot. There is a sidewalk and a mild incline to the post, the incline gets steeper from the post up.
If you choose to hoof it up, there is about 170 stair steps (taking the right hand route) to the stage (with great views along the way). Because you walk back to the bus after the concert you tend to get out of traffic earlier.

Red Rocks is my favorite place on planet Earth. I'm a native of Morrison (the quaint mountain town down the hill from the venue) and I can verify all the wonderful reviews here are true. There are SO many things to do: Concerts (of course), movies, hiking, huge outdoor yoga and fitness classes, exploring the awesome music museum, dining, driving through unique rock formations, fossil hunting, spelunking, running the stairs, the trails and the roads, visiting the rustic Trading Post shop... You can even get married! (There's a stunning wedding chapel on the southeast edge of the park). My high school graduation, first kiss, wedding and the baptism of our son all happened at Red Rocks. Right outside the park in the canyon there is fantastic rock climbing/bouldering, fishing, tubing and rafting, with spectacular dining and shopping in the historic town of Morrison. Down the road there is summer drag racing at Bandimere Speedway. A person could quite easily stay a week and not run out of epic adventures. And you thought Red Rocks was 'just' a world class, spellbinding, move-you-to-tears-beautiful amphitheater!

Simply the best place, maybe in the WORLD, bar none, to experience music. And I've been the Sydney Opera House in Australia and Royal Albert Hall in London, UK. Nothing beats having the backdrop of breathtaking natural beauty surrounding you!

What a beautiful venue. I stopped by here after finishing a job one day when it was sunny and about 65f. Beautiful view of the city and would love to see a concert here. Very clean and safe feeling. Ample parking. Signs make it easy to get in and out.

Beautiful view and walking trails. The trails aren't overly long, there is a good amount of uphill, but it's not bad. The visitors center is also nice, there is a hall all about the people who have played at the amphitheater as well as events occasionally. I was there for the hiking rather than the music, which seems to happen almost every night. Its busier here on weekends, though its spread out enough that you wont be squished. Overall this is a really nice place to come by to enjoy some entertainment or some wonderful hiking trails! The rocks and view are really really pretty!

It was completely amazing. worth the time the money the effort the hike. you have to see it no pictures no words can explain it you have to see it. Go see your favorite band. Whoever it was that came up with the idea for this place to be an Amphitheater was truly a genius.

Such a fun place to visit. Breathtaking views! Fun to walk/run up and down. Also enjoyed an art exhibit when we were there. Be careful to check open times, since they close early on days there are concerts.

Great little trail to walk around and a nice enough looking venue. I was only in town for a few days and didn't see a concert but we wanted to go hiking. Don't do what we did and start at the bottom and run up. If you aren't adjusted to the atmosphere, even if fit, it'll still gas you quick. Other than that it was a beautiful area. Next time I'd try to catch a concert there.

This venue is hard to beat anywhere. I've always had amazing concerts here, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. It's beautiful, fun, and really just overall amazing. Bad thing: the parking is absolutely atrocious after the concert. We spent an hour just trying to get out of the parking lot, and we were among the lucky ones. There's no public transit, either.

Beautiful location!! Loved the evening! Thank God for the scenery...and for the taxi drivers that were available for the 2 mile (ish) walk from our far away parking location into the Amphitheater. Crazy amount of exercise... specifically, as I have asthma.

What can you say... its Red Rocks, one of the most amazing concert venues there is. The only drawback is be prepared for a serious hike in unless you get there really early to find close in parking.

Saw AJR and Cold War Kids. Such an amazing venue! 15/10 would recommend! Booze is pricey, best to pregame! Make sure to get on the free shuttle to the top!! Even during the day it's great to visit. There's a museum and incredible great views, hiking and exercise groups. Must-See for tourists and new Denverites

Wow. This is the coolest venue I have ever seen. The sound was amazing as was the experience itself. What a landscape. We Saw Bob Moses and they were perfect. I can't wait to fly back and see another show. I am blown away. No picture can do it justice. Bucket Lister for sure!

Have been going here every trip to Denver!!!

We ran up and down the stands!!!

Hiked the upper loop closer to the new bathrooms and parking lot. It was the best hike and activity to get us mid-westerners used to the altitude!!!

What an absolute beautiful place. I have heard about this venue for years and was finally able to make it with my family. Its worth the drive , worth the climb. Once you are there the absolute awe and wonder. I can only imagine actually hearing a concert here.

This place had always been a bucket list venue of mine. I got to go to Rezz Rocks there finally, and it was magical. I Will definitely be going again!

Except I'll try not to forget where I parked my car this time. If you don't know the area and don't park in a lot you could get lost looking for your ride

Love love love! This is not just the sweetest concert venue I know of, but also one of the most amazing places I've been to, period. Be prepared for lots of walking uphill just to get to the gate, and plenty of stairs once you get inside. You can generally enter the venue with an unopened water bottle up to 1 liter, depending on the event. You will be in the sun until evening, so for big events like concerts I suggest bringing more water to drink while walking to the entrance and waiting in line

Was visiting Denver on a road trip and went to a show here because I always heard so much hype about this place. I will tell you what this place lived up to all the hype I have heard about it over the years. It was a great show and amazing views. Would recommend this place to people to see. Even if you are not visiting it for a concert.

Truly one of the most beautiful outdoor amphitheaters! Design of the stage and setup puts you in touch with nature in a way. Don't miss the gift shop which is sort of hidden. The gift shop has full history and cool pictures of initial construction and carving of the rocks. Get ready for those steps though with comfortable shoes!

Great sound and atmosphere! There really isn't a bad seat in the house. From the parking lots until getting to your seats will be a hike. Be prepared. Bring food, water, and supplies for the hike! Just kidding... somewhat. You'll love it here

This venue is larger than life. I would say it's almost impossible to come here (for any reason) and have a bad time. Concessions are fairly priced for any venue, parking is free, and the views are nothing short of extraordinary.

My all time favorite concert venue! Truly one of a kind. The views, the vibes and the sound are unmatched by any other venue!!! Generally a great drink and food selection but you can take your own food in, check out guidelines online before you plan your visit. And the staff are always friendly and helpful!
