The most beautiful, natural venue I've ever been to. The music bounces of the rocks, the lights and energy is amazing. The walk is a bit intense for those that aren't used to incline or stairs. Take breaks bring lots of water, don't dehydrate. Gets colder after sunset. Make sure and visit the Trading Post. It is free to visitors , but check to see if there is a concert before going.

Amazing tourism location. Last time I was there ccx was about 16yrs ago.....but the atmosphere in winter season is extraordinary!

I came in summer back then and the concerts were superb!

Absolutely the best venue in the world...the sound system as well as artist lineup is unbeatable.
It's on so many bucket lists and visited by so many nations just to experience what is Red Rocks. From workout set all morning long to a sold-out Five Finger Death Punch concert. No other venue can come close.

Beautiful venue to see Vampire Weekend at. There is reserved seating for the first 48 or so rows. The acoustics were awesome. The only detractor from the show were the drink vendors that would walk through the rows during the show. Other than that,it was a great experience. I would love to see another show here, definitely would recommend that if you have the opportunity to see a show here, to just do it. You can bring in small bags and blankets for added comfort.

Ok, Red Rocks itself is beautiful, and the shows I ve seen have been a lot of fun. However, the yellow shirts are essentially worthless if you have an issue. As I was leaving after a show, about 5 minutes into my walk I realized I had forgotten my favorite jacket. I ran back to grab it, but it was already gone. Thinking maybe one of the yellow shirts had picked it up, I asked the first one I saw who seemed pretty clueless and told me if anyone had picked it up, it may be in lost and found - which is next to impossible to find by the way. When I finally found it, a couple of the staff were there, and were so unfriendly and unhelpful I was blown away. After waiting around for someone to help me for probably a good 20 minutes, they finally told me that they only pick up valuables (cell phones, wallets, etc), but leave everything else lying there, including jackets as long as there s nothing in the pockets. I did notice there were people leaving the show with piles of jackets, so my guess is some people hang around after everyone leaves to grab anything that s left to sell it or something. So it would seem the yellow shirts are basically there to harass people doing nothing wrong (based on other reviews I ve read here), but not prevent thieves from taking things that don t belong to them. What s crazy is there were still a ton of yellow shirts around so they had to have seen these people making off with all that stuff.

So the moral of the story: make sure you don t forget anything you bring! Don t rely on the Red Rocks yellow shirts to do the right thing.

Absolutely one of the most stunning venues I've experienced for a concert. The entire experience was enveloping, from the foreground formations surrounding the amphitheater proper to Denver lights twinkling on the horizon.

Depending upon time of year, it can get chilly at night, and exiting large concerts may require some patience, but the minor frustrations are completely with it.

One of my favorite Amphitheatres. Music always sounds great. Love the view. Had to Park on road as there were so many people and lots got full. Leave time to walk uphill and up the stairs, take breaks if needed, taxi's we're also taking people up. Everyone has always been helpful. No umbrellas allowed.

Nature at it's best. I'd love to see a concert there. I could only imagine! The air was thin and had difficulty breathing and speaking. It was cold and unable to take the altitude or cold when I was there. You'd had to be acclimated to do the hikes. Everything went up.

A must see destination for EDM or any other outdoor concert. Nature provides not only an amazing backdrop but also outstanding acoustics. Staff and security were helpful and professional but not over bearing. Drinks were about on par for your traditional venue prices, but get ready for a hike to your vehicle - parking isn't close.

Fabulous place to see a concert. The natural beauty is amazing. Wear good walking shoes for the climb from the parking lot and up/ down the amphitheater steps, but it's worth it, spectacular setting.

Beautiful place to visit! Wish had more time to do a hiking trail. Picturesque views! The Amphitheatre is beautiful carved into the rock!! People come here to do exercise and just enjoy the views. Many people were taking graduation pics. You would need a longer time to visit the surrounding areas. We were on a stop over on our flight home. So this is one of the places we visited and it was worth the drive.

What can I tell you that hasn't already been said about this place!? IT'S AWESOME. Repeatedly voted the world's best outdoor amphitheater and it shows. Not only are the sounds and sights perfect, the staff always does their best to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Keep an eye out for the Movies on the Rocks list too; they show movies here 8 or 9 9 times a year.

Come for the nature, stay for the colonization. This is indeginous land! I have yet to see any information displayed about the indeginous people's whose land this is. A mention of an appropiative "native American" dance preformed at its opening.
The Amphitheatre and asphalt are disgusting. They shouldn't be there.

Red Rocks Parks and Amphitheater is a must see if you're visiting Colorado. What a beautiful place to hike! It was in the 80's when I was there and bring a baseball cap to cover your head from the scorching sun, and plenty of water. There are a lot of uphill trekking and stairs so be prepared! All those thousand steps will be worth the experience and view.

Absolutely beautiful! I wish I could see every artist that I love at Red Rocks. There's not a bad seat in the whole venue. I've been to many shows at Red Rocks and hope to attend many more.

Simply one of the best amphitheaters on the planet! Prices are pretty steady and if you do your research before you go you might be able to take things in that you didn't know you could. I highly recommend taking in a small blanket to sit on. Staff is always on point and so nice!

A must-do in Denver! This amphitheater and park is beautiful and we loved enjoying the view from the benches. You also have to do the Trading Post Trail - it s only 1.4 miles and included beautiful views of the famous red rocks. The Trading Post store has a very nice selection of merchandise too.

4th of July blues traveler concert front row seat 52 & 53 dead center. The staff gets a 2 thumbs up. They kept checking on us to see if we needed drink or food. It was great having our drinks & food brought to us. Thanks for a great nite Red Rocks & staff.

The sights and the view is to die for. One if the best (and coldest) hikes I've been on.

Hiking Red Rocks was definitely a healthy challenge. Not hard for a frequent casual hiker like myself, but it definitely put me to work. I might not recommend it for an introduction to hiking, but the payoff is amazing and once you're used to a rocky out and, definitely make the trip out!

You don't have to go to a show to enjoy Red Rocks. People go there to enjoy the scenery, many go there to exercise. It is a magic place. Open like a park but you need to check the show schedule. When there are performances, after approx 12pm noon the ampatheatre closes to get ready for the show later.

I cant say enough about this place. Saw the concert of my life. Joe Bonamassa. The acoustics and venue cant be described and have to be experienced in person. Note: lower seats while get you closer to the stage will hinder the sound. Higher seats get you better sound and closer to the food and drinks. Take a Lyft to the top to save on the stairs. Use the bathrooms underneath as they have part of the museum open and screens so you won't miss the show.

What a wonderful space! The amphitheater itself (and the stairs that go with it) are an excellent opportunity for folks young and old to get some exercise under the great blue skies of Colorado. As you can see, the views from around Red Rocks are lovely, as well!

Still my favorite venue I've been to to-date! Love the atmosphere, the scenery, the sound, all of it! A variety of music and performances to see, so there's something for everyone! I got to take my parents to their first show last summer and it was SO MUCH FUN! We saw Peter Frampton and the Steve Miller Band. Still one of my favorite memories and I can't wait to make more! Always worth the travel ;)

One of the most beautiful venues in the world. A must do. I does not matter what band you see. Uber takes you close to the top. Lots of stairs if you walk for the bottom parking, so be prepared.

A must come if just visiting Colorado. If there's a concert going on try and go, even if it's not your style! The views and lighting they have there is amazing. Parking is a hassle, expect to hike a little if you driving. but uber/Lyft have their thing going on there.
If there's nothing going on you can park at the top and view the whole amphitheatre. You can even walk to the bottom where the rock stars play.

Who wouldn't love this place, the veiw is amazing, you can see Denver and it's an awesome sight from the top, at the gift shop at the base there is an awesome trail, the steps are kind of steep so be a little careful but getting to go on this nice mile and a half hike looking at the natural formations, it's a great thing to do if you're visiting, just as good as going to the top or wandering around the amphitheatre in my opinion!
