Without a doubt the best overall concert experience we've ever had. We had perfect weather and an almost full moon, which added to the ambiance. The security and concession staff we're friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent quality and reasonably priced. We went back the day after our concert to enjoy the park, museum, and trading post. If one of your favorite bands ever plays here, make the trip and plan for an extra day to explore and go hiking; it will be worth it.

Took the family to see Greta Van Fleet (Shannon and the Clams opened, check them out) last Monday night and it was fantastic. The staff, the other concert goers - all of it. My kids are 9 & 6, I will wait to take them again until my son is a smidge older BUT in case you didn t know, families have priority at a restroom right next to the concession and stair entrance. We didn t wait longer than 3 minutes to use the restroom and with kids, that matters. Also - I ll comment on the pot. Yes, there was definitely some weed wafting through the air but not any stronger than what you d pass on a trail possibly and everyone was normal. People kept hitting the led balloons towards my kids because what kid doesn t love a light up led balloon at a night time concert?! We brought cookies and shared them with all our seat mates haha. Get there early if you want a good seat, first come first serve a lot of the time I think.

I Love this place. One of the Best places to see a Concert, in the Country. Besides Telluride. Amongst Others in the Entire Country. I saw the Grateful Dead there, 1983, 84, 85, 86, 87, Until they stopped playing there. Saw them in Telluride and Denver. Colorado. - and All over Canada, and Europe.

A must-see if visiting the Denver area. An open park with hiking trails surround one of the most famous concert venues in the world. See a show if you can, but even if you can't it is worth visiting for the natural beauty and musical history. Museum on site that showcases past performances

Wow what a beautiful place to visit. A must see, nice maintained trails. Beautiful countryside scenes. Even though it was fairly hot the wind kept it cool. Definitely go check it out fun time for young and old. And a bronze statue of John denver!

No place like it in the world to see and hear a concert acoustics are amazing and the scenery breath taking. I have a special attachment because my father was on the Civilian Conservation Corps crews that built the amphitheater.

Incredible amphitheater, sound is amazing, lighting is insane, and the staff keeps it very organized. The best place to see a concert. I drove from Utah to go to the concert and the venue blew away my expectations.

Beautiful place. It is AWESOME that the facility is open for tourists even when there is no event going on. It is a beautiful natural environment that has been customized remarkably. I gotta get back for a concert. You can see FOREVER from the promenade at the top.

Just went to the Kaleo concert here and it was amazing!!! Loved the atmosphere! Highly recommend it and my sister and I had a very memorable time, especially since it was our first concert at this amphitheater.

This place is amazing. Being from the south I already have an amazing appreciation for Colorado and it's beautiful scenery, but Red Rocks is one of those places so breathtaking you literally have to see it to believe it.

You can either drive to the amphitheater or take the trail up and around to it, and for those not acclimated to the altitude it will literally take you r breath after you first 15-20 steps. It's best to take it slowly and get adjusted but one you make it, WOW. The view, the atmosphere, the vibe!

There's also a trail that continues upwards to a peak that you can either ride or walk to. Do yourself a favor and explore as much on foot as possible.

One thing to note: If you're driving, there are a lot of tight turns where you can see around the bend so please drive slowly as there are a lot of cyclists that frequent the roads as well.

Arrive early to enjoy the park. Pictures can't capture how amazing this place is. Hundreds of amazing artists have played this stage.
Bravo to the venue for excellent care to handicap patrons

Beautiful place full of trails that are easily accessed by hikers of all types! My daughter and I love coming here and spending the afternoon hiking around. I'm so thankful to have such a beautiful place to visit. If you live in Colorado or just visiting you definitely need to take the time and visit Red Rocks!

We were able to walk a loop and the views are beautiful. We were unable to see the ampitheater that day because of a concert, but we're able to go back the next morning. If you only have one day, go early! It is well worth it

The sound there is great and the whole experience is out of this world! The views from the top are big and there is no other music venue that can come close to Red Rocks! It is absolutely beautiful and you can have your choice of sitting or standing. Highly recommend visiting this place!

Saw Post Malone the first and only time I've been and even the nosebleed seats have excellent eyesight of the stage and everything is heard clearly thanks to the natural acoustics from the "red rocks" surrounding. Fantastic experience 100/10

Incredible! Red Rocks has trails, concerts, movies and a museum that are a must see.
Red Rocks is the best concert venue I ve been to. The acoustics are amazing and views stunning. If you are into movies, they also have Film on the Rocks where they will play different movies. Also, check out the museum at the top of the venue where there is a nearby parking lot for easy access.
Tip: If you go to visit, be sure to check and see if there is an event that day as they will close visitor access several hours prior to events.

Stunning venue, with amazing views. Free when there isn t an event. The offer about 5 trails ranging from 1.5 mile to 6. The museum, gift shop, and restaurants are open to the public as well.
Awesome way to burn some calories for either a fast paced hike or a casual stroll for views. Enjoyed it!

Great experience, beautiful scenery, sound was the best. We saw Brit Floyd and was our first time at Red Rocks, traveled from Iowa and had a great time. Parking was easy, staff was very congenial.

If you haven't been here, I would put it on your bucket list. I have been to hundreds of shows in many different venues, but RR takes the cake. Phenomenal sound reproduction from the "red rocks" really makes for a memorable journey.

Saw Pretty Lights, Khruangbin, and Leon Bridges. All were wonderful.

As always, Red Rocks never ceases to amaze me. In my opinion, it is the best concert venue to go to, and it's probably a lot of artists favorites to play at. There are four entrances, so it doesn't take too long to enter from any given point, the natural rock formations amplify the sound of the huge 50-foot speakers naturally and epically. For larger name bands, tickets usually start around $45, but can end up to 150 the week before the show. There's also yoga in the mornings! It's a great place to work out during the sunrise, running up and down the stairs.

Best routes are hiking into golden via the trail between the two south gates. Micro biomes for critters and fauna I don't see anywhere else. Golden hour photography spots shooting down the high back is cool on gate three road. Best not plan on getting any shared rides out of nearby golden till really late as the gates for automotive access to that town are closed for hours during and after the big shows to discourage folks from choking off the town for free parking.

I've been to Red Rocks multiple times for concerts to see Brandi Carlile and O.A.R. multiple times. I've been when it's warm, when it's cool and when it came a torrential downpour and we didn't move out of our primary spot in line, even as the water rushed down the stairs from the top of the venue, and more than covered our ankles in a dirty messy river. We huddled under umbrellas and rain coats, for what might've been an hour or so, making friends for life. This is where that happens. This is where you can see your favorite band, underneath the clear skies of beautiful Colorado. Whatever it takes for you to experience this for yourself, do it. At least once in your life, treat yourself to magic.

Tried to get tickets for an event, when I went to check out there was an extra $98 on the bill. I called the number and it was to park staff not ticket staff. They forwarded me to another agency who was extremely unhelpful and dismissive. Refused to give me any additional resources or number for ticket information. She said there was an 800 number I had to call but refused to give it to me. Horrible experience all around.

Great experience!

Great experience!

Be ready to be feel out of shape with all the lively people working out and putting in work. Awesome place to look over the mountain and on a good day see downtown Denver from miles away!

Can't imagine a concert there, bet it is awesome!

A truly unique and unforgettable concert venue experience! Beware - there is a bit of a hike to get up the hill to the stairs, and then more of a hike up the steep stairs to the actual amphitheater seating area itself. This may seem like a given to some people but I truly did not think much of it before going here. Nonetheless, it is not super difficult and the payoff is 100% worth it!

I wish o could rate this six stars out of five.

I wish o could rate this six stars out of five.

Easily the best venue I have ever been to, and I am not sure it can be beat.

The bands we saw were amazing, but I think you can watch paint dry here and still enjoy.

Park in the upper lot if you can, it s better.

Go on a night with a full moon too, just trust me.

If you have a band you want to see, and they are at Red Rocks, you need to go.

I will be back to Red Rocks many, many more times.

First time visit to Red Rocks for a concert and I only live 10 minutes away. I was gifted the tickets, but will definitely be looking for future bands that I like. Worth going even if your not a huge fan of the band!

I left the show after an hour because the temperature dropped below 40 with light rain and cold gusty wind. Despite the challenges an outdoor venue presents, Red Rocks is incredibly beautiful. Staff are excellent so lighting and sound are exceptional. The audience is somehow more connected than in other venues. And there's the historical appeal of a theater where the greatest musicians have performed. If you have the chance, go, whether to a concert or a day hike. Dress in layers!

Hands down the best place to experience live music. The acoustics are outstanding. The views are amazing. And the audiences are the best!! I also like to bring out-of-town guests here to watch the sunrise.

One of my favorite places in Denver! The entrance is free when there are no concerts or shows. Most people drive there to do yoga and practice running or stretching. The view is stunning and the whole place is magical! I love the fact that it was not built using machines or technology, bit it was man-made! The scenario is panted in the same red-color as the original rock, so it look totally natural an beautiful! There are also many music and rock museums that you can enter for free! It s totally worth a visit! And there is also a nice gift shop!
