One of the best concert venues I've been to. Epic sound quality, awesome crowd, and spectacular views of the Red Rocks and trails, mountains, and even Downtown Denver! Parking lots are even a little pre-party, this would be a good place for a 3-5 day camping music festival! Security is strictly enforced upon entrance and continues strictly until nightfall, but once night comes security relaxes a bit.
Best outdoor venue in the world...hands down! The view of the city over the stage and the framing of the seating area by the soaring red peaks of sandstone create an amazing feel that is finalized in the great acoustics of the amphitheatre. A true must do experience!
Although i did not go inside the amphitheater, i got the privilege to install 2 exterior doors on a building rite outside of it. The view was pretty cool. I needed that good shot of tectonic might. Next time, I climb

It was a bit chilly tonight, but this show was great! The amphitheatre is a beautiful venue, and everything sounded amazing! The only thing I wasn't totally prepared for was the amount of stairs I had to climb, but it was more than worth it!

Best place on Earth to attend a concert. Have been to many here. Great place to get an up close and personal view of flatirons, without having to climb one. Also good for a picnic or to recreate, hike etc. Beautiful comfortable outdoor restaurant too.

Wow! This place is a marvel. Go, drink in the views, listen to the music, hike one of the trails, visit the history museum. You will not be disappointed.

We came here to see Odesza and it was a beautiful venue! The staff are all super friendly, and you can really tell that they love their jobs here. The atmosphere is very nice
I would reccomend purchasing the VIP tickets for this venue for sure--the staff really keep people out who are not VIP, and it helps keep things from getting too crowded. I love this venue, and I cannot wait for a reason to come back:)
Always be prepared for a hike up a lot of stairs to get into the shows. Show up 2 hours minimum before doors open to get a closer spot to the stairs. If you get there early enough or you are handicapped you can park in the upper north lots which requires the least amount of effort to get in. The Majority of the food and merch for a show are located at the very top of the venue near the visitors center entrance which is the best place to use the restroom as well.
Love that it is open to the public for leisurely strolls and just enjoying the atmosphere. A lot of people come here to exercise. The main gift shop is closed so they only have the family restrooms at the top open. So plan accordingly!

One the best places to see live music , movies, etc. Even just to go check it out as just a park. Hiking trails , beautiful scenery, wildlife , bar and restraunt , gift shop , red rocks music museum , should I go on?...
Went for sunrise, was gorgeous seeing the sun come up over Denver. Recommend getting there an hour before actual sunrise to get the whole experience.

I want to give this place a better review because it really is an amazing amphitheater, but every time we go to a concert, seating is such a hassle. There aren't assigned seats and people in general admission can be so rude. There was a mob of people standing in front of us as we sat the last time we came here, and even after asking them to sit or move, they persisted. So we moved. When you want to enjoy a concert experience, it's really disheartening to have seat anxiety, especially on more than one occasion.
It would be great to see a band here but even without the music it was worth the trip

Beautiful venue and I m so glad I finally got to see a show here. Entering and leaving concert venue was logistical nightmare. Wind distorted the sound quality and marijuana smoke was overwhelming.
Love red rocks. Best venue I've ever been to. Be prepared to work your legs out. Just getting to your seat is relentless let alone having to get drinks and go to the bathroom. But even with the brutal climbing, it is all worth it. Definitely a one of a kind experience.

Beautiful venue. Great vistas. And the sound is incredible! If you get to go to Red Rocks, you are in for the best concert you ve ever been to. Take a cushion for your bench. And some layers to wear if it is not summer. And be prepared for some stairs. But all-in-all, a real treat!
The Red Rocks Amphitheatre is a great place to see concert, any concert, and just to visit. It's very convenient to Denver, and it's impressive day or night. The place has great acoustics that attract and impress the world's best blues, classical and rock and roll artists. During the day, the place attracts fitness enthusiasts who run the steps and tourists who come to appreciate the geology and the very interesting, and free, visitor's center. The place is well worth a visit.

Red Rocks is an incredible venue, no doubt about it. Unfortunately it seems like people don't care to keep it clean anymore. That's not so much of an issue with the people working the concerts as it is the people attending, but it takes away from the experience. Still my favorite place to see a show.
staple to visit if you come to Denver, even if it s not for a concert. popular place for workout circuits - you ll be dodging a few people running the stairs and catch a few others in the background of your photo doing squats. very clean facilities! parking isn t terrible either.
Great venue! However, the leaving the parking lots is a nightmare. Great tip is to not be in a hurry to leave. Find something to do for an hour after the concert ends, or it will be a frustrating end to an otherwise great time!

The pictures you see online really don't do Red Rocks justice. The venue is really awe inspiring, with the rocks massively looming over the crowd. Awesome facilities and good options for food/drink. Be prepared to get some stair climbing in if you're heading to the very top!

Simply breathtaking and beautiful. The day I went they were having a concert so they closed the gift area etc early so I didn't get to see the amphitheater but out side of that a must see if you love the beauty of natural nature and rocks! The museum is pretty awesome as well!

You can feel the music history just being there. The Hall of Fame was stellar. The Beatles to Foo Fighters. It was awesome. We are going back to see a show most definitely.
Scenery is amazing, crazy rock formations. Makes you feel small in comparison. Great spot for pictures.

Just go. Every lover of live music and nature should see a show at Red Rocks if the opportunity arises. Bring a poncho in case it rains. Bring a sweater for after dark. Note that the ascent to the top is quite a hike but there are also some shuttle services. I rather enjoyed the strenuous journey upward, because once I reached the apex of the amphitheater I felt I had fully earned the reward of enjoying such a beautiful place. And it s far, far more beautiful than I ve dreamed all these years.
I had probably the best night of my life here, and I had said that many times before about other places. This place is very special, and if there's a band that you really want to see that comes to Red Rocks, I would do anything you can to prioritize it and make it happen. I hope to play here someday.
Beautiful views of the city and always a quick and easy escape. Stand on stage and sign to your heart's content- hear your voice echo off the red stones, where dinosaurs used to roam! In the summers, watch classic films and listen to concerts (pandemic pending). Come for a workout and run the steps or do yoga on the bleachers. Or just sit and eat lunch.

Beautiful and easy to get to from Denver. Looked like the place to workout on the weekends. Trails and good roads to ride bikes. Plus the amphitheater was free to see when a concert isn t going on.

Always over crowded for concerts, can't see anything. General admission is already much farther back than reserved seating, and at my concert they moved it farther back than the tickets said. They take advantage of the attraction of the venue.

Best concert venue on earth! Clean and safe facility. Parking is ample and well coordination is employed to keep everyone moving. Be prepared to walk up hill alot while visiting red rocks! I bring my family here every chance we get. I have seen some bad show even... However the venue always makes up for it! So beautiful!
It was a fantastic setting, what a venue for listening to music. But it's much more than that. It is open to the public on non concert days, one can enjoy the beautiful surrounding nature.
This is a very unique place and a must see for tourists. I thought it was cool to see all the ppl working out and u can even see downtown Denver from here. The rock formations were awesome too.

Concerts at this venue are top tier, plan a trip to see your favorite band play at redrocks. If you can't make it out for a concert, it's a beautiful place to hike I would suggest trying to go in the early morning to see the sunrise bring a camera!!!
