My favorite place to see a show. There may be a few venues in the world that are on par or even more beautiful but the accessibility and location and size make it #1 on my list of venues.

Some of the best Concerts I have ever been to and I have seen several at this venue since I was 18!
The outdoor experience is so entertaining, and the surrounding rocks and landscaping is beautiful! The rocks provide great acoustics, and the seating is decently comfortable for being outside, although I would definitely recommend bringing cushions! We had such an enjoyable time seeing Stevie Wonder and we will be coming back for more!
Great unless it's a jam band and someone pukes on your seat. Best venue in the world!
This is a venue for listening to music that has incredible natural acoustics. The setting is absolutely sensational. Bands have been performing there since the 1920s but regular performances began in the 1950s and practically every big name artist or group have played there.
AWESOME! Some great trails in the area, some easy walks, and some brisk walks. So nice hidden Jewel close to Denver, that most people don't know about. All the tourist stuff shuts down about 7 p.m. So make sure you get there in time.
I saw Alt-J play here and it was an amazing show at an amazing venue. Despite the rainy weather (its outdoor) it was a great experience.
I only awarded three stars because the price for concessions is criminal. $20 for one beer?!
Went to yoga on the rocks, went about an hour early to watch the sunrise and just relax before yoga. Incredible view, incredible experience.
Best venue for concerts hands down! A must in Denver!
Had a fabulous time watching The Old Crow Medicine show at Red Rocks. Was unfamiliar with them prior, but they have incredible talent- most play 3-5 instruments- energy and showmanship. The facilities were incredible as the reputation. Great acoustics, easy access to bathrooms from reserved seats, reasonable beverage options.
Awesome beautiful nature attraction. It's free! I went when there was no live show. Nice to walk around and take in the views. Can get busy with groups working out. They have gift shop, mini museum and cafe on site.
Lovely break from the city and also an easy place to explore. Especially since there are no concerts right now. People were walking around, running/jumping the steps, and in general enjoying the views of the beautiful red rocks. If I lived near here, definitely would come do a workout with friends here as there is plenty of space.
Great little trails. Lots of people, good vibes. Didn't know The Fluid played at Amphitheatre. Place of legends.
Great place for a hike...and exercise...post card perfect.
Beautiful! My favorite place in the mountains so peaceful out there!
Beyond all expectations. Scenery, music, acoustics. What's not to love?
Love coming here! It's a great place to take the family when there is not a concert
Amazing acoustics and views. This place is great for seeing performances or just hanging out or exercising during the day. Definitely see it if you're in Denver
Awesome place for concerts and the views are out of this world!
Great Venue! I suffered a knee injury walking down the steps. Paramedics carried me out and helped me til the ambulance arrived. Excellent service and caring servants with caring hearts.
Although, I can not remember his name, I am thankful for him and his professionalism. Of course, ultimately the manager of the venue planned for potential issues. Thank you.

Day visit to see the sites. Awesome!
Awesome visitor center of the history and all the past concerts.
A Surreal experience! This is the coolest venue ever for a concert!!! I had to pinch myself to make sure it was real. There are plenty of food venders throughout venue and even a museum inside it with spectacular HD footage of the concert if you choose to take refuge from potential weather related issues. The only issue to be aware of is if you are needing a ride from the concert schedule it in advance.
This place needs to be on your bucket list..breath beauty.
Is there anywhere better to see a concert, movie, or workout? I don t think so! Come here during the day to see gorgeous views of the rocks and the city or come at night to see your favorite band or bring the family for a movie on the rocks. Don t forget to bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and you can even bring in food! The weather can change quickly up here so make sure to come prepared
The view is great. Get there early to avoid having to walk uphill to the entrance
Watched Tenacious D here, it was a great show but the venue is what truly makes the difference. Make sure you're prepared for the hike up to the Amphitheatre from the parking lot. Also make sure to save your parking because it's easy to forget where you parked.
Must see! Astonishing views and lots of selfie and insta pics to choose from. I will say be prepared to do a lot of walking and stairs. I suggest wearing confortble shoes and your camera.
Awesome venue. One of a kind location. A natural version of the Acropolis. Beyond fortunate to now live 25 min. Away. It s incredible how the sounds is carried inside the rock formation and how well it isolated it when you are outside of it. Crazy. Since it s Colorado , always a smart idea to bring something to protect against rain. We have a Pendleton picnic blanket that is waterproof on one side. Perfect to put on the bench seats or cover yourself when the rain or hail roll in briefly. I was going to say bring a crazy-creek or of the like but typically when the concert starts, every one stands so ..maybe not.
One od the best venues in the world. Natural amphitheater that amplifies the sound. A must see place. Very vertical so be prepared to climb up and down.
The scene is beautiful, i came here for a Tech N9ne concert and acoustics are on point. Just get there early parking gets tight
Hands down the best concert venue I've ever been to! The acoustics were just ridiculously great and you just couldn't ask for a better backdrop.
I traveled from NY to see Dark a Star Orchestra play here. A thunderstorm passed by earlier in the afternoon and during the concert we were able to watch as it made its way east over the prairie. During Terrapin Station the sky lite up with lightening. This was a very surreal moment because the inception of the song came from when Jerry Garcia was crossing the Golden Gate Bridge during a lightening storm and his buddy and song writer Robert Hunter was looking out his window at the Golden Gate Bridge. Jerry came up with the songs Rhythm during that car ride and Robert Hunter came up with the lyrics. When Jerry got home, the song was created. Magical.
The view is so cool and see a concert there is even better
If you like music you have to see your favorite bands here it is an experience you will not forget. Also has a museum that's worth seeing.
Went to visit when there was no concert but it was still worth it. The red rocks were simply amazing.
Arguably one of the best natural venues in the country. The other one gunning for the spot is The Gorge. It's a close race, so far I love Red Rocks!
This was a great place to visit, but during our visit at around 4pm, all of the restroom are locked. There is sign said there are restroom at visitor center but it closed at 4pm.
One of the Best places to come see in Colorado!! Great for family fun or a simple hike alone.
What can I say that has not already been said. Beautiful place greatest place to see a concert...period...
Had a great birthday celebration here and got a good show in. The sights, the sounds. Impeccable.
This is a review of movies on the rocks during covid: there was no distance between our car and the people next to us who were outside their car drinking with no masks.
If you are fine with covid then you'll be fine with this.
The venue is a great place for co certs. The view is gorgeous.
Hi. It s the red rock amphitheater outside of Golden, Colorado. It s one of the most coolest natural rock amphitheater s around. We went on a very cold day, climbed around the rocks and there was actually quite a few people doing the same as us. Exploring and checking the place out. Probably one of my favorite places to visit. Absolutely fantastic. Can t wait to go back and see an actual concert. I m not showing the usual pictures, because I figure you see plenty of those.
Awesome place to visit, no cost, amazing scenery!!!
I haven't had the pleasure of seeing a concert at Red Rocks, but I did have the opportunity to go and tour the facilities. This is one of the coolest venues i have ever seen! It is so beautiful. Its facilities are clean and up to date. The views are breathtaking! I hope to be able to catch a show there the next time I'm in town.
Uniquely Colorado! No better venue on the planet. The great visuals and great acoustics make any event better.
Amazing Rocks and Amphitheater. Walkouted every stone and trails there.
Went for a concert, its beautiful there. I did have to rescue my seats from people when i went to buy a drink
Amazing experience coming here for the first time for my best friends 30th birthday! Can't wait to come back!
Pure magic! A wonderful place to visit!!. If you love nature and appreciate it, than come to redrocks. This is a place for trails, excercise, picknicks, and amazing concerts. If you find an event/concert to go to, it will be a concert like no other my friends!. Only one way to come experience to what I call "majestic". The next place to redrocks would be " THE GORGE",in Washington. Redrocks is a must see place to come visit!!. Happy trails everyone!!!
Saw Tchami & Malaa here, FRONT ROW, on my 21st birthday. Best 21st birthday a woman can have in my opinion. The view is absolutely amazing when you look behind you. The lights, the rocks, the mountains, the fog.. perfect! & it was misting out so it was great to cool us down. The crowd is so wild and it s an out of this world experience being here! I ve also been here to hike and it s fun as well with friends and family. Those steps are a workout in itself.
Such a beautiful place with great trails and views . Very clean as well.
Great trails friendly staff, wonderfull wildlife saw deer, birds and mice around the trails. The only inconvenience is they close for concerts.
Will forever be one of the best places I have have ever been to
A piece of my heart and soul will always live there!
A truly amazing venue. The views are awesome and the acoustics are great. Not only that but the concessions were really good and very easy to get to in a hurry. Go see a concert here, you will be happy.
Go to Red Rocks during the weekend mornings to walk the steps for a Great Outing.
Came here to watch the sun rise and it was absolutely breathtaking.
It s simple. Among the best music venues in the whole wide world . My tip? Have Uber/Lyft drop you in north end up top if you want to save the long up hill climb... unless your in shape for that.
One of the best venues I have ever been to. Use uber to get to and from super easy.
Definitely worth the trip to see the red rocks and the amphitheater.
Absolutely no other place like it! Beautiful and fun for hiking when there are no events going on and you can walk the amphitheater!
Beautiful place to workout, relax and take guests - head up to Evergreen after for lunch!
Amazing place to visit. Sadly the museum is closed due to COVID constraints. But still a lot to see and do. Especially if you love hiking and walking.
Did yoga here. It was very busy, suggest getting there 30mins before. Parking lot was congested. So many people taking selfies, me included the venue is stunning.
Very cool place. Totally worth visiting even if there isn't a show. Admission is free when there is not an event going on.
Absolutely amazing view! The trails are quite the work out.
Cool place to check out even if you're not a music fan. But if you are then you should definitely check it out in my opinion. So cool. Just make sure to check if they're having a super that night because I was there at 2 and wasn't able to check out the stage or stairs because they have a concert there tonight.
Great views and a nice place to get a workout in. Can't wait to return for a concert.
Most amazing venue I have visited. Beautiful but not for the out of shapers. Lots of steps.
Top notch venue, one of the best on earth. The only way to experience is visit it yourself, no review is going to give proper perspective. Typically open to the public 1 hour before sunrise to 2:00 P.M. local time daily, but it is best to check the website for the day you're going because there are some day events that are private. Parking is free (I've had people ask), and getting in during public is free. Respect the area, and enjoy!
Beautiful and humbling experience. The history was well presented without having to sit and read for extended periods of time. Even took they were very busy, the staff was helpful and pleasant.
Acoustically the greatest venue on Earth, and now my favorite venue that I've ever been to. Prepare for a hike, because you're going up no matter where you're sitting. Prices are high as expected, just be prepared to pay a processing fee of $17 PER TICKET.
This will always be a special place to me. It is closed down and roped off now and most roads are blocked.
Words cannot describe this place a must visit for anyone in the Denver area, the sights are amazing and the hikes are incredible
Who doesn't love Red Rocks. One of the greatest concert venues of all times. Definitely go if you have a chance! It's nice to arrive early to tailgate and see the venue in the light. Also, there is yoga on the Rocks in the summer too which I am dying to go to! No matter the show, check this venue out!
What is there to say... It's red rocks... It is truly a spiritual experience seeing music at this location. No words can do it justice.
Amazing place to see concerts or just admire the views.
Lovely sights. The food court was open air with distancing. There are restrooms and port-a-potties available. Toilet paper was available but I would take baby wipes and/or hand sanitizer. Lots of high incline walking so make sure to bring good comfy shoes!!
The sound experience is incredible. Tail gating before hand and bring some local culture. Excellent time.
Absolutely worth a visit if you re in the area. Free admission (and parking) on quiet days (no shows scheduled) and there are plenty of trials to hike adjacent to the amphitheater. Visitors are free to roam the grounds even walk on stage as long as you are mindful to follow the posted rules. I fully recommend a visit if you have time. Great for a quick workout, too! You could easily spend as little as 30 minutes or up to 2 hours here.
