There is not a better Multi cultural Asian restaurant in Providence RI. 716 Public St. I ve been eating here for 40 years. The food is so good my family knows that if I m able this will be my last meal. If I die instantly I ll have my Shiva catered by Apsara. If you are with 90 minutes go for a ride. My last meal I hope includes fresh nime rolls, beef teriyaki on the grill not fried, black pepper crispy shrimp, hot & sour shrimp, beef bee bong & ginger shrimp with fried rice. Ok you can call me piggy. This is enough easily for four meals.

I've never had abutting groom here I didn't like. When getting pick up the owner can remember by what you ordered. The serving size of the Pad Thai could feed 3-5 people and is delicious.

Apsara is a mainstay for anyone who lives, works, or just passes by this side of Providence. The atmosphere is small but cosy and the size does not reflect badly on the food or the service (if anything it enhances it). The menu is expansive and there is something for everyone.

Yummmmmmbelievable food here anything ive had is great especially the crispy thai wings which are addictive. Tom yum soup is amazingly satisfying, Chinese broccoli is out of this world with generous pieces of fresh ginger, and a favorite of mine is the crispy chicken with eggplant which has satay/peanut sauce. OH dont forget the crispy shrimp which if eaten as a finger food will keep you licking/sucking your fingers. BYOB is a plus and they provide a free pitcher of hot tea as well. Quite busy anytime you go which also assures the freshest food around.

For over 15 years I have been coming to this restaurant and I've never been disappointed!!My close Cambodian friend had introduced me to a dish called chicken "me'kathong"? I hope I'm spelling it right. I don't know too many places that make this pad-Thai noodle dish. So whenever I'm in the area, its a treat. Its an elegant restaurant with great staff and excellent food, whether you prefer to dine-in or take out.

This is the standard to which I compare all Cambodian restaurants. The half fried chicken and rice is by far my favorite dish. Perfectly fried chicken with pickled vegetables and a perfectly balanced fish sauce. I make it a point to stop here at every opportunity.

Exceptional portion sizes and prices. Nim Chow, Lort, and the myriad of soups and dishes is devine. Not easy to park. This place has larger portions for the $$ and lunch specials are 7 days a week!

this is one of the best restaurants in Providence, truly a hidden gem! Be prepared to wait for your food, and even wait for a table if the place is busy, but it is well worth your patience. Excellent, authentic Cambodian food, and a helpful and polite waitstaff that can explain dishes if you are confused about names or ingredients. Although the outside of the building is in need of an update, the interior is beautiful, clean, and well lit. If you are looking for exotic, delicious food definitely give Apsara a try! I recommend the Black Pepper Chicken Wings.

20 years ago, this place was a PHENOMENAL place to eat. We ate here at least twice a month. The decor was constantly updated and the recipes we're authentic. Over the last 6years or so, this place has gone down hill, in my opinion. Gone are the decor updates and fresh flavors. Gone is the superior level of customer service. The Egg Rolls no longer taste homemade, the Employees could use a serious training seminar and don't even get me started on the peeling ceiling. This went from being a favorite date spot to being a place we eat at less than 4x a year.

Very busy and the place was kind of small but it was worth the wait! We had a party of seven, with no reservations, and we only had to wait about 30 minutes. The menu is massive, the food was outstanding, and the portions are huge! Service was prompt and the appetizers came out very quickly, followed by the entrees shortly thereafter. Hot and delicious! By the way, it's a BYOB restaurant, so if you want beer or wine with your meal, bring it with you. I'll definitely eat here again!

I enjoyed an okay meal from here of mango chicken and some spring rolls, however, they seemed to value quantity over quality. A trait not unwelcome but ultimately not garnering them more than a three star review. Not immediately inspiring of a follow up visit but maybe under pressing circumstances

Awesome food, affordable prices, good portion size and great atmosphere. Every time I visit the place is packed and with reason. One of the best spots Providence has to offer, and definitely a locals favorite.

Love this place! Great food hands down. The Singapore noodles is a go-to for me. Large portions, service is great (expect it to be busy), and two people can order a ton of food for under $30. Highly recommended.

Coming here on New Year's Eve was amazing, because it was one of the only places open, and it was voted best of Rhode Island in 2018. The take out was crowded and the tables were full. The staff, though, were a finely tuned machine, cranking out delicious plates full of food The concept was interesting, built around the traditional eating style of the restaurant's owners. Each table had a plate of food for each seat that was occupied at the table. The food is then shared. The menu had options that included some gluten free items, so be aware that their allergen awareness is on point. Feel free to ask away, though, the staff is awesome at customer service!

Great service. Nice and cozy atmosphere. The dumplings...ehhh... But the pad Thai, fried rice, and General Tso's? Love it! My favorite family style place!

Wonderful hole in the wall. My first memories of this place include cafeteria-style tables. They've been serving amazing, authentic Vietnamese, (Thai and Cantonese too) for decades. A hidden gem. If you haven't tried the nime chow, you could be missing out.
