Not remotely 5 star...have stayed here several times a few years back. A recent stay showed a VERy faded property with indifferent service, a pool that was closed (NOT advertised when the room was booked) and a club lounge that despite lovely staff have offerings worthy of a holiday inn somewhere. A bit sad how far this place has fallen....lots of better options in Doha now
Hotels in Doha are generally high-end, this one is just great, i like the general atmosphere, the pool also is nice
Food in the Isaan Restaurant at Grand Hyatt is amazing and tge hospitality cannot be better. Very humble and polite staff, open kitchen, beautiful decor, outside sitting area, everything just falls into the place and well planned

Beautiful property with friendly professional staff who offered exceptional service. Comfortable bedrooms with good amenities some of the public areas are looking a little tired and sadly the beach is currently being affected by construction work on the island opposite.

The Grand Hyatt in Doha lives up to what you expect of a Grand Hyatt --- Grand unique architecture, great comforts and service, and a very specific character. Generally of all the chains the Hyatt provides the most unique experience in my view. This one is almost like an austere muslim fortress with it giant hall with minimalistic decorations. Also a gorgeous beach with views of the Pearl across the water.

The room services were not good . they have entered the room without our permition to the room. and in the dinner . the chief was not nice to my family when we ask for water to drink. she did not allow us to drink water . even when i asked for a bowl she did not give me .... its the worth experence to me in 5 stars hotel. .
It is an extremely beautiful hotel. The have a great restaurant. The suites are beautifully decorated. It is definitely worth the visit.
The room service is not good, and I booked a suite with terrace, at 10:30 pm the lights in the terrace turned off, and called room service they said they will come, but actually they didn't come.
I paid extra money to get room with the terrace and can't use it as it's dark

Had a wonderful staycation here. Got a free upgrade to the Grand King Suite too. The staffs were very friendly & courteous, making our stay more homely. Special Thanx to the staffs at the Grand Club Lounge Eni, Sumbul, Vanessa, Cho & others whose name I fail to recollect but were equally helpful.
The facilities provided at The Grand Club Lounge - Breakfast was good enough with the best Croissants. Even though o don t favour seafood , I enjoyed them here, including the Sushi s. The evening Complimentary array of Snacks were splendid. The water temp were perfect. The Cold was extremely as stated & so was the Hot water, which is usually a rarity at most hotels. The Spa facilities were well spaced & well maintained. Hope to join the Club someday to satiate my want to be a member here. Words won t be enough to experience the hospitality at the Grand Hyatt, I ll publish a more detailed review soon on other renowned sites.

Beautiful Stay for Valentines day 2018 at this world class hotel! Excellent food at the Italian restuarant on the water & the breakfast at Santa Monica was Amazing!
The stay was good however 2 of the hotel employees were able to upgrade our expectations from good to excellent. The first one was Zakariae from the front office; he litteraly had a solution to every problem we had, always available and always ready to help. The second one was Mohamed (the Moroccan) from Monkey Tale; because of his energy and great spirit (despite the heat) we spent the best time at this place and we went back every day! Thank you!
A hotel that really has everything. Complete so to say. Many restaurants, very big nice rooms, Freindly straff, pool and beach and many more to give. Highly recomended
Amazing place! Great rooms and great views. The Thai restaurant is amazing! I highly recommend staying here. Don't use their transport from the airport, though. You can find much cheaper options from services in town.

This is the nicest place I've stayed. The accommodations were beautiful, clean, spacious, well kept. Very friendly and helpful staff and service - extremely accommodating and there are always people around to assist you. The pool is nice, the beach is fine, both spaces are great to get some sun and relaxation. The location is convenient via taxi to much of Doha, but it is not walkable to anything at all. If you have a limited time in the city and you want to see a lot of stuff, this area is not a good place to stay unless you want to get taxis to everything. But, if you just want a really luxurious, relaxing stay, with good security and privacy, this was an awesome choice.
It's a 5 star hotel and that's what you get. Staff polite and helpful. Food at Isaan - Thai- is well above average and would highly recommend.
Santa Monica Breakfast Club
I highly recommend visiting Santa Monica Breakfast Club for a nice weekend brunch. I would highly recommend trying the pomegranate mint iced tea.
Overall the ambience is good with peaceful outdoor setting and good service.
The alacarte menu is also very exhaustive.

An excellent experience, amazing group trip. Worth visiting again. The pizza offer was really nice & enjoyed a lot. Family enjoyed the beach. Rooms are comfortable The hotel ambiance is awesome. Hotel has a great pool.
A 5-Star hotel, constructed in a traditional Qatari style, fantastic facilities, but a bit expensive, i spent a week there.
Very well located with a lovely private beach and views to The Pearl island. The staff was very attentive specially at the restaurant Rocca.
This is a beautiful place. We had a 3 level villa for 20 people it was great.

As a traveller who frequents through both Doha and Dubai, I have to say this was the poorest hotel I have stayed at within this region. From the moment we arrived (which was after midnight so we were tired and just wanted to go to bed) we were bombarded with sales... Offers for breakfast or all meals add ons to our package. It wasn't the right time and wasn't appreciated. We decided on breakfast inclusive which was disappointing as the breakfast was to a very low standard as compared to other hotels in the area. In addition, every morning we had to wait to be served while staff checked that we'd already paid. We were there 4 days, so unprofessional, rude and annoying in the end. The room stunk like cigarettes despite having requested a smoke free room. The pool was closed for maintenance from the second day of our stay which I understand they need to do but if I had known prior to booking, I would have stayed elsewhere as the pool was the main thing that attracted us to this hotel. This is something that should have been communicated prior to us checking in. Altogether the service from front desk was average. We were flying out late and so asked for a later check out. We were first told we cannot as the hotel is fully booked, to then for a fee we can do this. Which is it?!?!? My husband argued that we had no access for a swimming pool and subsequently an unenjoyable stay. He told us we were lucky at the rate we got in the first place because we booked through Qatar airways so we aren't in a position to complain!!! How rude can your staff be? Then he offered two hours but asked to remember this and not write a bad review in light of his generosity. Seriously, stay somewhere else. This hotel is extremely disappointing.

This is the worst hotel I ever visited when I reach to the hotel they told me to wait because it was not ready the room I booked they ask me to wait till they sanitize the room I waited like 1 hour 2nd thing in the swimming area no one cares if you are drowned the life guard they have he is busy doing his thing he doesn't even look you have to go and ask for a towel the place is dirty the service was bad unprofessional
The hotel is huge and has everything anyone needs from bars to clubs to restaurant, coffeeshops, etc. The dervice is great and the staff is very helpful. The rooms are big and very comfortable. The hotel is in a very good location and it is very calm and relaxing.

everytime i visited grand hyatt i always had a great time..not only once but maybe 30 times already....the facilities are good the staff and the crew they are so approachable.
swimming,relaxing, jetski riding etc...i enjoyed well...i always prepare to eat margarita pizza at monica's reastaurant the best pizza ever ...til my next visit

It is luxurious and has a huge swimming pool. It has many restaurants with a big variety of food. However the personnel is rude, everytime they meet you at the beach or swimming pool, they ask me for my number and my name and they make me sign a paper. It happened to a friend of mine too.

I always love visiting the Grand Hyatt. Dunes lounge has great live entertainment, and the restaurants all serve great food. Plus there's always something interesting going on.
Attended a seminar. Good facilities and service. The buffet lunch could have been better. Fish and chips was oily. Mixed grill was average. The service staff, especially Vimal and Manoj was very good. They managed to organize a vegetarian meal for my colleague. The vegetarian Penne Pasta, which was prepared on request was good. The restaurant ambiance was excellent.
A bit over rated, the staff was extremely helpful and very kind, but the hotel for starters starts at $800+++ a night. And it does not include complimentary breakfast, you have to pay $40 for breakfast every morning, and it's only from 6-11. You have to pay for extra stuff, the place is nice, but not worth the stay, go stay at another hotel , there is hotels for $400 that include breakfast .
