The GrubHub add on completely ruined Apsara. Each time we have ordered our favorites (combined 15 years of eating here) they were not the same. It s so, so busy that it s not even awesome because they re sacrificing quality to pump out garbage. We ordered delivery once and I waited 2 hours while being tossed around the waiting area by a bunch of agro GrubHub drivers. Horrible decision. We are devastated and will not go back. I hope you guys get rid of delivery ASAP.

The food is delicious and the service is great. It does get busy but it's totally worth the wait and if you don't want to wait for a table call and place an order and enjoy the food at home.

Great food, huge portions, fast wonderful service and the people are all fantastically nice. Awesome place.

This restaurant is a gem!!!! The vast menu includes Cambodian, Thai and Vietnamese cuisine and has something for everyone. My boyfriend and I wanted to share a few things, so we tried the Nime Chow, which is a cold wrap with rice noodles, green leaf lettuce, and cold shrimp in a clear noodle wrap, served with cold peanut sauce. If you like cold food its delicious. The beef teriyaki was served with some pickled vegetables as a garnish. Delicious. The teriyaki itself was also incredible. We had the Thai Pad See Ew something-or-other (can't remember the full name of the dish), which was wide noodles with a pleasant sauce, with 2 different kinds of broccoli, carrots and onions. We chose shrimp for ours and it was simply delicious. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, they were cooked but still crunchy. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and of high quality. The crab rangoon is hands down the best I have ever tasted. This little place was hopping busy with many people picking up takeout. The restaurant was about 2/3 full on a Sunday evening and we were seated immediately. The staff took great care of us, with one person taking our order, and then other people checking on us to be sure we had given our order to someone. The staff seem to take a group approach to make sure everyone is taken care of expediently and your food is served quickly. Great decor, great food, great service, and the prices are very inexpensive, especially considering the quality of the food! We will be going back many times to this gem!!!!

The 3 stars is for service. Food is pretty good. I dont understand why they don't expand their space. They are always packed with people dining in or picking up. Its a fire hazard...and not safe. Its shoulder to shoulder alot of times. Please clean up the liter around your restaurant...trash is always seen when I go. Im pretty sure they do well. They should really look into a new bigger space. Im sure people will travel to wherever they go. Please sell bottled water as an option. Also got sick the last couple of times eating there. I think they are just rushing due to the amount of orders they get. The next time I'm sick...i will be contacting D.O.H.

My first meal at Apsara Asian was in 1986. Yes, 32 years ago. I compare all other Asian style food to this restaurant. While I was a college student this place meant fresh, hot, exotic, delicious and huge portions for budget friendly prices. They are still serving it up the same today. This is Cambodian and Thai cuisine at its best.
The place is home style and traditional in their own way. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. If you are unsure what to order, they are excellent at suggesting dishes to suit your taste. The menu is extensive & with PHOTOS that are accurate.
A converted house off Elmwood Ave, it is unassuming. Don't let this fool you. It is ALWAYS busy inside. With good reason. Parking can be a challenge. Patience, you'll find a spot.
My favorites include the following: Cambodian Delicate Soup, Tom Yum Soup, all the Nine Chow, any style Chicken wings, Vietnamese Bee Boong, Curry Stir-fry, Cashew Stir-fry and when available, Whole Crispy Fish with Bean & Ginger Sauce.
Long story short, I've had only GREAT meals here.

I had a pineapple fried rice delicious. I love the fresh pineapple with the fresh peppers and onions sliced so nice and neat And the flavoring is awesome not salty just rights.

Shout out to Paul who was hilarious and absolutely hit the nail on the head when all I said was I'm looking for noodles and spicy and he gives me the response "I got you." Comes back with the Stir Fry Satay Noodles with beef which was absolutely exactly what I was looking for. Got it extra spicy and for me (someone who likes spicy) it was perfect meaning as spicy as it can be while still getting all the flavors out of the beef and noodles. Absolutely will get again. My family did also order several other dishes including the scallion pancakes, steamed raviolis, and pork fried rice. I found all those dishes to be good to very good, but couldn't have much because of how I was stuffing my face with the Satay Noodles! Definitely will be back and glad to have a new takeout spot!

Always a great meal. Inexpensive, quick and delicious. Bring your own beverages if you want to (wine, beer, alcohol or even soda) complimentary water and tea.

We came on a Saturday night and it was beyond packed so we ordered to go. While awaiting I could not beleive my eyes seeing the sizes of the plates,the smells,and how great it all looked.
Everything was great and recently coming from Asia I will say this is the most authentic I've had since being back.

Food is amazing. Very low key. Everything fresh and delicious. Priced VERY fair.

I ordered take out. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. I was even offered hot tea while I waited for my order. I have eaten here many times and have always had a similar experience. Great food and service!

Food is delicious I would give them a five with no hesitation but the fact that the customer service sucks makes me give them a three. The lady that answer the phone is super RUDE and never can understand anything (I have a perfect English) she even hang up on me. I love their food and always tell all my friends to go there but if I keep getting this kind of experience every time I call imma stop going there and recommending them. APSARA you can do better you guys have excellent FOOD.

Nice people.. freindly and helpfull staff. Love their lemongrass chicken! Good nime chow. Tasty fried rice. Good for sharing dishes; try a few and share amongst the table. Reasonable prices.
