Zero customer service..emlathy as an ex banker my advise. runnnnn!!!!#

Absolute scum bags! My business emails were hacked! As it s only been bought to light today, I m unsure of how many emails have been sent, but I ve discovered that somebody has been following up invoices which I have sent to customers and given them false bank details for payment - they have my name and so are able to make out that the email was written by myself. Fortunately, a customer phoned me today to discuss these new bank details which bought the situation to light. I have reported this to Action Fraud and also APS Financial, however, after reading the reviews it sounds as if APS may be the ones responsible for the hacking!

AVOID SCAM BANK Someone tried to scam me with an APS bank account

SCAMMERs scammers, not the first time and not the last one i guess, if you see someone using this company dont ever send them money.

I received a fraudulent email for construction work at my flat - someone hacked the suppliers email - instructing that payment should be made to an account with this company. I alerted the supplier who rang me back to say that he has just lost another client's money who paid to APS after belieiving the email. This company is not worthy of FCA accreditation. This is not a "challenger bank" as they claim but an open sewer for illegall activity.

A person tried to defraud our company using an ASP Financial account.
I ried to contact the person responsible for compliance / legal, but the company has no interest whatsoever in dealing with this.

I have now contacted the FCA

Thousands of pounds of money I'd raised for Age UK scammed by intercepted emails and deposited in this bank. When I rang them their wonderfully polite staff told me there was nothing they could do. By the end of the call, I couldn't speak for sobbing. I'm an artist and will be giving my work away now to my lovely clients who were duped by this nest of crooks, as well as having to find the money to give to the charity out of my own pocket 3 days before Christmas. I'm determined the charity won't lose out but this will mean I don't know how I'll pay my rent in the New Year. I will definitely be going to the press as soon as I've recovered.

A wine investment company I have reported to action fraud used this bank for their transactions. Coincidence?

This is a copy of the letter I have sent to CashPlus after they locked me out of my account and shut my business down. Please note that they have stated that they cannot give me details of anyone to complain to. They also reported my previous review as being from a competitor so that TrustPilot removed it!! I have reported this to the financial ombudsman.

Hi.

We need to gain access to our bank account as we have been locked out. There are two forms of ID and proof of address enclosed as you have requested. Please re-open the account immediately.

This has happened because I tried to access the account using a new phone. It says as it is a new device that it will send an email to verify and that I need to click the link.

I click the link, it allows me in, but the next time I try to use the app it resends the email again, and I'm locked out.

Obviously there is a bug here, so I called your customer services to tell them and they asked me what the balance of the account is and what the last transaction was in order to pass security.

I explained that I am unable to access the account due to the bugs on the CashPlus app, so I am unable to check what the balance is or what the last transaction is. Obviously I can answer any other security questions, but if I don't have access to the account, I cannot access the balance or transaction history in order to give you this information.

From there the lady on the phone said I had failed security and has now completely locked us out of the account with my only option being to send in two forms of ID to this freepost address which will take a minimum of 10 days.

I find this amazing, because if I am locked out of the account because your app isn't working, then how am I supposed to be able to tell you what the balance of the account is?



I asked the customer service guy who I can complain to, but he said because I haven't passed security, he can't tell me who I can complain to.

PLEASE can someone take a look at the information requested that is attached with this letter and re-open our account ASAP as we are losing money every day this goes on as we are unable to take any payments.

EDIT: Thank you for the reply, but I have no missed calls. I've tried to call you on the number you left for me. That's the standard customer services number and I was stuck on hold for 30 mins before giving up......

Do you have a direct number? This issue is still ongoing and needs to be fixed ASAP.

Still no response from CashPlus. Still no response to complaints, account still locked. Cannot get through to anyone. Have sent 2 forms of ID many times. Have not received any response. DO NOT USE CASHPLUS.

I was scammed / stolen from by the Website Shop in Stockport, Manchester who use this bank. And judging by all the other comments and reviews on here, APS Financial are to be avoided at all costs!

Seems to be a Scammers bank. A supplier s email had been hacked and I was sent an invoice from the scammer which looked as if it was from my supplier. The invoice requested payment to an account at this bank - sort code 08 71 99. Fortunately I checked with the supplier so managed to avoid being defrauded.

This bank has charges on charges and have offered nothing to us for 3 years as a customer, holding are funds in holding accounts for weeks with no explanation! Not, good for business start-ups or any business.

Managed to get through and speak with someone at APD hope was polite and helpful. However, it seems reading previous comments on the google reviews this bank is used for fraudulent activities. Please be aware...!

They can't take their due dilligence very seriously, as they're harbouring fraudsters, who've hacked a retailers email account, stole their identity and diverted a payment from us to the retailer, to this financial institution. Maybe even a case for the Financial Conduct Authority?

Scammers. Cashplus credit card service a joke. Application and website not easy to use and even with the right password you often can't log in. AVOID!

Scammed by a fraudster using Sort code 08-71-99 Account 57438234. These guys are crooks.

Be aware this a typical London based fraud ponzi scheme businesses. I wonder how can they operate in this country.

Aps financial have paid some money into my natwest current account however I have not applied for any kind of loan. I really need to get in touch with them to give the money back but no contact info....help!!

They scammed me for over a thousand pounds claiming I was paying into a Natwest account.

report them to the FCA: Financial Conduct Authority and lodge a crime report to ACTION FRAUD - UK s national reporting centre for fraud and cyber crime where you should report fraud if you have been scammed, defrauded or experienced cyber crime.

Bank is used and or run by fraudsters to scam people out of money and then move the money out of the coutnry to stop it being recovered. Avoid at all costs.

These are trying to defraud our company H Accountancy Ltd. We have caught them by the IP address. We have reported these to both Companies House and the police. Do not send any money to these.

regarding APS financial which received lot of money fraudulently from my NatWest account last Wednesday and say it has been removed from the relevant accounts, I discovered today that NatWest fraud team knew nothing about APS fraudulent activities and has actually been sharing confidential customer account details with them for months now. No wonder the police Fraud squad are over stretched.

Don't deserve one star as they scammers don't give money back and there on cheap goods on Facebook as owner is Scott from Wigan

This company sort code and a dodgy account number appeared on a fraudulent fake email requesting a deposit for work that was going to be done on my house via a mirrored/intercepted emails scam.

I've always had an okay experience using Cashplus so its a fair review. I'm not sure about these guys though : /

What the hell is wrong with this company that for many years it seems it has been allowing countless people to be scammed out if sizeable amounts of money. A friend of mine has just become a recent victim of these con merchants and it is devastating for a small business to be targeted so! This needs sorting out, the police, the press, anyone who can help stop this from continuing.

Total Scam artist. Luckily I knew they were.... Need locking up as soon as possible

**SCAMMERS AVOID** Fortunately I didn't lose out on too much money, but they are all over Facebook offering an 'Entertainment Hosting' service. You transfer money to sort code 087199 and account number 15543752. You then get a log in and download an app. Worked fine for a couple of days then didn't. The website then goes down, Facebook user has blocked me, and when you google the account number and sort code, this stupid company is all over it! Someone needs to stop them...

Absolute Joke. No-one answering phones and won't reply appropriately to emails!!!!!

This business seems to be an enabler of cheque 'overpayment' fraud

I've been scammed by speedycontainers.co.uk and guess who they hold an account with and hasn't signed up to the the new Banking code to protect consumers. I don't understand how this financial institution is still trading. I will be speaking to the financial ombudsman regarding this.

This business supports scammers. It is possible that accounts are opened by fraudsters under false identity. Please do yourself a favor and do not pay money to this institution account under any circumstance. It is time to shut such a business. I hope this information will stop you from mistake I have made. There was lots of negative opinion about that business even though I have made payment. It is not a joke.

I have a Cashplus Gold card which I rarely use.

Tried to dispute this through transition they said they cannot do much as the supplier refused to update my account. Seriously I just don t get it. And they want to become an official Bank?
