Apple is GARBAGE, as the iPhone 6+ is so bendable and causing the phones to break easily as the Apple stores want to charge $200+ to fix the piece of junk! As I had this phone well managed with an otter box and still looking brand new, due to a minor bend, no access available on the phone. You spend hundreds of dollars on the phone for nothing. I bought this phone for over $600 as its gone to waste in less than 2 years.

Apple products are garbage as the Apple company are scammers!

Service was not good. I purchased a brand new MacBook Air. Paid over $2000 for it. Came in, all wrapped, and right speaker wasn't working. I called Apple and they told me to bring it to Jump+. (They never gave me the option to return it within 14 days). I told them it was a 2hr drive one way. I asked if I can get some sort of discount since I will have to drive 8+ hours just to get it repaired (4hr round trip to drop it off, and 4hr round trip to pick it up after repairs). They told me they don't give money back as good will. They asked if I wanted headphones, or an external harddrive which I didn't need. When I got the laptop back from Jump+, it stated that they've replaced most of the MacBook Air. I called Apple again because to me, I'm getting a "refurbished" laptop for the price of a new one! The apple employee told me it wasn't refurbished because it wasn't "an old laptop that they refurbished, it was just my new one that they repaired"! She asked if I wanted anything off their Apple Store so I chose a printer, specifically told them I lived in Canada and they told me it was no problem. She called back a week later to tell me, that printer can't be delivered to Canada. I then chose two different products and she called me back saying it wasn't available. Finally, they're sending me a speaker as good will, but I still feel like I'm getting shafted and paying $800 more for a "refurbished" laptop in my opinion.

The onus is on Apple to reduce the incidence of complaints from their customers if Apple developers review third party apps and products that are approved as benchmark compatible with their certified products.

Problems after problems, newest problem: bought an iTunes card, entered my password CORRECTLY, won't let me use anything without security questions! This happens to every apple device I own! I enter the correct ones and it still won't let me use the iTunes card. Time to go to Samsung, my galaxy phone was never a problem

I just witnessed a 9 stars (9) customer service from an employee of Apple Store in Toronto who went and asked his manager to do something out of the ordinary, especially in this very selfish digital world. "TIM" guided a blind person who does not look blind at all ALL THE WAY!!!

My AirPods experienced a slight problem with the Volume being down in the right pod. I went to the Apple store at the Eaton Centre and I was treated very nicely. They listened to my problem and identified the problem and quickly replaced it. The Apple Store rep was really empathetic and very polite. It was some of the best customer support I ever experienced.

Stay with android stay away from I phone.
It s a piece of junk, sometimes things work most times not.
If I could give zero, stars I would.

Worst customer service, you order from the Canada ...

Worst customer service, you order from the Canada site but then are stuck dealing with the US side thereafter. First the website falsely advertised a delivery date of December 24. Once I placed the order it changed to January 3, which is too late and absurd. I ordered on the promise of December 24. Also, every time I have called re this issue, I am placed on a hold of 2 hrs to speak with a senior advisor and then hung up on, promised a called back in 24 hrs and never received one. I have wasted countless hours with 0 help or support. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced with a company. Turns me off from ever wanting to order an Apple product from Apple again.

Apple iPhone X NOT Water Resistant

Apple iPhone X NOT Water Resistant

Six months ago, I purchased an iPhone X 256 GB - after taxes and AppleCare+ for just shy of $2000 CDN.

Two days ago, I was at a Walt Disney World splash park where my phone got wet. It stopped working and wouldn't even boot (kept cycling the Apple logo). I called Apple in Florida who told me that they had no record of my having AppleCare+. I booked a repair with the Apple Store in Toronto (Eaton's Centre) for the next day. As I explained to Apple, I needed my phone as I was starting a new job the next day.

I brought the phone into the store and was berated for being 12 minutes late (I had just gotten off an airplane at Toronto Pearson from Florida - after explaining this to the Apple employee, they reluctantly added my name 'back into the queue'). I tell the story to the Apple Genius who, upon showing proof of my AppleCare+ coverage, tells me that coming into contact with water is considered "accidental damage" and therefore not covered by the manufacturer's warranty and if I want my phone replaced it will cost $129+tax through AppleCare+. After agreeing that the phone is marketed as 'water resistant' the Genius says this is the Apple policy.

The next day, I'm told that the indicators inside the phone show that it came into contact with liquid and that to replace the phone it will cost $129 + tax ($145 after tax). I ask to speak to the manager (Nicole). She reiterates that this is the Apple policy, that any liquid damage is considered 'accidental'. She acknowledges that she has the discretion to allow me to leave the store with the new phone without paying anything, but declines to do so. She says that she is not concerned that that decision leaves me unsatisfied after spending $2000 for my phone and $2000 for my wife's phone only six months' earlier. After I explain that she has the opportunity to turn a bad customer experience into a good one, she still declines to help me.

When I tell her that I bought this new iPhone because it was marketed as the first water resistant iPhone meanwhile two years' ago I saw a Samsung phone being fully immersed in a pool while on vacation, she says she is not concerned about how her decision will affect the brand reputation.

In brief, Apple markets the iPhone X as water resistant, but my handset was ruined after its first contact with water only six months after I purchased it. This Apple Store refused to exercise any goodwill to offset the cost or inconvenience to me, despite my request and several opportunities to do so. So after paying close to $2000, Apple says that I need to pay another $145 because water contact for a water resistant phone is "accidental damage".

If your phone might get wet, don't buy an Apple product even if it is marketed as water resistant because, as the manager of the busiest location in Canada says, "Any of our Apple products can fail if they come into contact with water."

If my experience is any indication, you can expect Apple's flagship store in Toronto to berate you for being a few minutes late to an appointment that you set up from another country; to have a nonsensical policy strictly adhered to; and to get no gesture of goodwill despite spending thousands of dollars at that location only a few months earlier.

Why is it that the consumer cannot get someone at ...

Why is it that the consumer cannot get someone at Apple Canada Head office?

I have 3 Apple products and will no longer deal with this company.

My Mac Book Pro was stolen and i reported it a month ago. Spoke to an agent @Apple when I called in a month, she took my info, registration number and name etc and claimed that she made a note that it's stolen to Apple and no one can use it or register it again with them.

Today, I called and spoke to another Apple agent to check to see if anyone has tried to register it, and they are telling me something different. Claiming There's no way for them to track if someone else registered my laptop she's telling me. How is it that Apple ask their consumers to register their product, take my personal info and product serial # but telling me now that you can't see if the same number is registered. Also, I need someone from head office to contact me and can't even get anyone directly? How is this a reputable company???

As consumers, we can't spend $2000.00 on a product and someone else can steal it and register it with the same company I purchased it from, who took my info to claim I'm the only person that could register that one product.

#hateApple. They only want the consumers money, and don't care about service!

Will ask newspaper to write an article on this. I think Apple is not an honest company, and don't care about the consumer. Since Steve Jobs passed, RIP... this company is the worst.

Dear Apple:

Dear Apple:
I would just like to send my sincerest thanks to your garbage company that sells people garbage products that completely crash because of the garbage apps that you force people to use just so you can take them for more money on a new Apple product that will only break down the road! My 10 year old son's iPhone 5 crashed the other night when we were trying to update his system to iOS 10.3.3 as requested by his notifications, when I took it to one of your Apple Stores "Genius Bars" the young fellow helping me tells me that the phones processor is completely shot to hell and the phone will no longer work at all because when he tried to update his system his iTunes app was somehow corrupted and destroyed his entire phone as a result of both the app as well as the update. He then proceeds to tell me that it will cost more to fix than buying a new phone and if I want to buy him a refurbished iPhone 5 it will cost over $350. The timing of this was more unfortunate than anything, as my industry in Alberta is suffering greatly and I'm unemployed and therefore unable to just shell out money to replace the one thing that was keeping my baby boys attention away from all the stress that is going on in my house due to the fact that I am barely keeping up with the bills and cannot find work. So thank you very much for ruining my son's happiness, I truly hope that the "proud" people of the Apple Corporation feel accomplished in taking away a child's one escape from the terrible circumstances that currently surround him, please give yourselves a big pat on the back from my son and I and know that it's your fault my son is sad!

So i was just at the guildford mall applestore in Surrey, long story short.

I have an iphone X, it starts heating up randomly and pressing random spots on my phone. I went to apple store 3 days ago they ran some diagnostics on the phone and deemed that the screen had some problem or defect. He tells me that the phone needs a new screen i go okay, he says good news it s free. Come back anytime to get it replaced with 5 days, fast forward i went in today waited an hour and he comes out and tells me that there s liquid damage inside it and that they won t be replacing the screen and it would be $850 for a replacement phone.

Spoke with the manager of this store DALLAS was his name, his explanation was that he assumes at some point this phone was submerged in water.
I asked him what water resistant meant?

He tells me that it means rain water or spraying the phone with water.

I asked him so your assuming I submerged the phone in water, I m telling you what if rain water did infact get into the phone perhaps a manufacturers defect?

He said we don t deal with what IF s

Which is ironic considering he was assuming my phone was submerged into water. I told him his explanation was unacceptable as it s ironic and contradictory to what he said himself.

Wasted my whole day to drive to Surrey under the assumption they would replace my screen like they said they would and have them tell me after an hour that they will not be doing anything at all with my phone.

Definitely would never come back to this apple store nor would i continue to buy another apple product as this customer service was absolutely horrific.

Plenty of nicer quality phones on the market.

I would put 0 stars if google allowed me to do so.

Apple Canada support looked after me and worked tirelessly with 4 or more specialists weekly over months. Your service is 5 star and as a digital marketing agency owner in Canada, I am amazed but a loyal Apple product user for 20 years.

Apple is creating terrible products. My Iphone 6s was sent in for a battery repair and they turned around and said it was a hardware issue. Costumer service was suppose to open up a case which they never actually did after having a second call. Phone was less than 2 years old and now it going to be a paper weight. Wendy at apple indicated she was going to open up a case about the terrible costumer service I received but she said that no one would ever call me back and no one would ever send me an email. That just means that no one would ever really look at it.
Below is my case number 101117583066 and the person I was talking to was Wendy.

Unfortunately I had very bad experience with service. I purchased iphone 11 Pro few month ago with apple care + which is $299 and should cover the lost and stolen case. I lost my phone yesterday and report that to apple but they told me that apple care + covers only damages not Lost or stolen.
So I lost the phone without even using my coverage so whats a point to pay $299 ?
Funny thing is that I asked how much the lost and stolen coverage and they told me $299 exactly the amount I paid for my coverage but no body can help me.
BE CAREFUL WHEN PURCHASED THE APPLE CARE

The price gouging has surpassed the quality and technology that people used to lineup to purchase. Their dedication to software updates is declining on Mac Book and I Mac products. If they have a new update be careful before you download because there are usually lots of unexpected surprises. Worst part of Apple Canada are the nasty and arrogant retail stores that really could care less if you buy or not. The service is terrible and they believe they are doing you a favour. Too bad....this has become a cell phone company with a huge stash of money. Computers are secondary.
