Great to walk around with children and grandchildren for a day. Especially the monkeys that walk around everywhere are fantastic for everyone to see. It is also nice to see if they are fed.

Have been coming here for years when we are on vacation in the Veluwe, first as a little boy with my parents, later with my own child and now today I have been with my wife after a few years. I saw that the entrance was renewed was nice, it looked nice and quiet so no long lines. But it was also quiet with monkeys. I can remember that there were some more free roaming around years ago. There were a lot of small monkeys to see, that was nice. Places to eat and toilet are plentiful. For small children there are more than enough play and clamber gear and other fun things. But despite having been in the park for more than 4 hours, we actually saw very little. In the average zoo you see much more, which is logical, because more variety, but in my experience there was more to see in the past. I think the target group also children, who will have a great day here because there is a lot of vpor children.I think the entrance is pretty tough 23 euros per person plus 8.80 parking costs.in spite of this we had a nice afternoon but it will be another take a few years before we come back.

Amazing place to visit with the whole family. Lots of opportunities to learn about different types of monkeys. Some of them (the smallest ones) literally jump on your shoulders and play with you.

On a study day to the Apenheul with a discount at Eurosparen. Still saves half. There was nothing crowded and we walked the "reverse" route. We only saw how many people there were during the presentation of the gorillas. But still it was very busy in terms of crowds.

Nice park, but can be very busy, especially on weekends or during the holiday season. You follow more or less a fixed route through the park, so that the mass always moves in the same direction. At catering points often very busy, long lines; take the (very) necessary yourself!
In terms of animals nice in design, well maintained. Free-running monkeys are of course always fun!

Super cute zoo. Super lots of monkeys and almost everywhere they run loose. The food shows are also worthwhile. If you really go for a whole day, you will soon be around, but you can certainly walk around for an hour or a 5/6. Before you reach the main entrance, you walk for about 1 km through a beautiful park. A disadvantage if you have difficulty walking. Not recommended during a rainy day, since almost everything is outside.

Nice place everywhere monkeys and such good signs in the park weighing indicated and where exactly is. You also have a booth at each eetgelegenheids place wherever you can take a picture with monkeys there and can send it to your email .. Had lots of fun there and the kids have their eyes forward

Nice to see that the animals have a lot of space. There is a playground. There is a carousel. Food is expensive and not special. Admission is actually too expensive. People who live in the neighborhood can subscribe extremely cheaply. So the one-off guests actually pay partly for the subscription holders. People with subscriptions and who live nearby don't buy anything at the restaurant or shop. I therefore prefer a lower normal entrance fee so that more people come from far and higher turnover is generated. Most "shows" are in the morning, so if you are a bit later you will have missed the necessary. Make sure you are there early and can leave early. There is not much to see or do. Furthermore, you can now feed animals in many places, but here it is out of the question. A slingshot or air cannon with pre-filled food would be nice, or give the squirrel monkeys a peanut or something. Now there is a focus on what is not allowed. Not this, not that, not sister, not like that.
The best thing about Apenheul is the park in front that is free. Instead of the Apenheul, enjoy the forest, the watchtower, the fountain, the park, the playground, etc, anything is allowed there.

Nice park! We lived there around the corner and would like to spend a day in the Apenheul. Especially the children find it absolutely crazy there. You have a section where smaller monkeys roam free. The monkeys can also come to you. Good care is taken in advance to ensure that valuables and loose items are properly stored away. Furthermore, the park is clean and doable in a day. The entrance price is reasonable. You often have promotions, so you can go to the Apenheul with a (much) discount or get a free ticket.

Mega busy, logical it is summer vacation, the monkeys were not really very active, the orangutans were staring inside at the gates below, very unfortunate, idea to go to the squirrel monkeys at the end of the day, then it is less busy.

Very nice park. We were here on a warm summer day in the Corona time. As a result, the monkeys were not really active and a number of areas were closed. Despite this, many different monkeys were spotted. When we got to the ring-tailed lemurs, they just got fed. Suddenly they came from everywhere. That did impress the children.
The children also had a great time in the various playgrounds and monkey cages.
With the reduced afternoon rate, a visit for a whole family can be easily paid.

The park is very beautiful and the animals live free or in large enclosures with spout. But the little monkeys are running around freely. Great experience for young and old.
Parking fees are quite expensive over 8 . You can stay there for the whole day, but nobody does that.

Very, very, very busy.

Very, very, very busy.
It is unfortunate that there is one route through the park through which you shuffle along in a large herd of people who are occasionally showing themselves.
Much information is offered about the animals in a fun and varied way.
I find the variety of a zoo (and the children) more fun than viewing the 30 or more different monkey species in a park.

It is a pity that because of Corona all many nice parts where the monkeys walk around are closed. I understand that we have to protect the animals, but I would expect that people do something with the entrance fee because the experience is very different. We also had a nice day

A fun outing for the whole family. It is nice that you can get so close to a number of (half) monkeys and that they sometimes even climb on you. Some monkeys even pose extensively if you want to take a photo. Watch out for loose items that you carry with you, some monkeys have grippy hands. Fortunately, this is well indicated throughout the park.

Nice park but considering the current Corona time it was WAY too busy. People stood close together in the indoor areas, at the terraces it was impossible to keep 1.5 meters away and there were also far too few employees to keep an eye on things.

In addition, quite a lot of interactive items were broken. I did not expect that given the hefty entrance fee.

Been a few days ago with my friend (tickets to the friends lottery). It is a quiet area where you can often enjoy the many monkeys that can be seen and also occasionally walk between you. There are regular eateries throughout the park. It was a great day out!

Very nicely laid out and there are many staff who keep an eye on everything to see if everything is going well. Nice stops for a drink and where the children can play. Delicious enjoyed. Actually not everything properly seen because it was smaller in my experience, so definitely go back. What is also nice is that you can bring your own food and drinks. You are not allowed to eat it alone in the part of the stray monkeys.

Fantastic built park where the monkeys and other animals alternate perfectly and the accommodations have a very "open" feeling. Presentations and interactive feeding times of the animals were also great!

Nice park to visit. Educational and entertainment for children combined. You can easily spend a day here. The presentations give a glimpse into the daily life of the monkeys. Recognizable behavior: a mirror and a smile.
