Despite the fact that the strength of this place is the roaming monkeys, we still had a nice day! Despite the complaints about hygiene, we found it a very clean and beautiful park, the new playground was also popular with the kids

Nice to do a day in Apeldoorn and then take apenheul with you. Especially the mini monkeys are very cute

Very nice to watch the monkeys with children! However, all catering establishments are busy, so we have waited until the last eatery. There were 2 employees at the cash register. One employee took the order and the other employee put the trays ready with sauce. There was only 1 person in the kitchen, and in the end there were already 6 trays ready, but the food did not come out. There was no decent management in the kitchen, and in addition, the price / quality ratio was not really great. 9.95 for a hamburger menu, with an ieniemienie bowl of fries .. All in all it was a nice day, although next time we would rather eat something outside the park!

A wonderful place to walk among all kinds of animals (monkeys). Open again in April.

This is a truly unique "zoo" experience. Many of the areas are free range and you get to see these creatures up close a personal. And if they're curious you may even have one that decides to jump on you. :)

1 star because there is no clear information on the site of the apenheul.
Under the heading extra corona measures it is stated that the management can close parts of the park if it is too busy or a dangerous situation arises.
But today ticket was reserved and upon arrival heard that half is almost closed and just what you come for with the children.
And was not busy and not a dangerous situation.
These parts are simply closed by default.

Sorry but this can be clearly indicated on the site so that people can decide for themselves whether or not to go.

Was nice just a note. The smoking zone next to the playground is not the best solution.

Friendly, dedicated staff hats off! There are always annoying people who can't stay away from the monkeys or still feed them, too bad.

Nice zoo only bring your own food because ordering food takes a long time. We waited half an hour for two sandwiches

On Sunday June 28 we went to the Apenheul. I had never been there before, but I think it is a beautiful and well-kept zoo. Because of the Corona measures, not all pieces with stray monkeys are indeed accessible, but many pieces are! Toilets were not always neat. There are many beautiful playgrounds, but little play for young children. For my daughter of almost two, only some small slides were really interesting. There are now also a lot of little ducks walking through the park, also very nice to see!

As a child I have been a lot with grandparents at that time. Recently again for the first time and had the same experience. Feeding the gorillas was very interesting and fun, the orangutans are beautiful and the pendulum monkeys dare to do everything. In addition, the park is nicely decorated and the accommodation looks natural. This also applies to the transitions between the accommodation units. Had a very nice day.

Very nice zoo where the monkeys are good to see. Been a few times and looks very nice. The food is only of a lesser quality and relatively pricey. The gift at the children's menu (a cup) is very nice again.

Monkey garden, largely without fences with a great chance of meeting very close by. The big boys are locked up, though. Nice park, not only for children You can learn a lot if you feel like it.

Super nice park. You go through the monkey enclosure and can see the little ones up close. The larger monkeys are in beautiful large open hedges which are well visible from an elevated path.
I am not a zoologist, but from my point of view, the attitude of the animals is as species-appropriate as it can be in a zoo. The animals can come to you if you want or withdraw.
Especially with the squirrel monkeys you should be careful if you have a stroller with you. This is first meticulously inspected.
Were there on a Saturday in good weather. Therefore, the park was unfortunately very crowded. So if you have the chance, you should go below the week.

What a beautiful park! Almost all monkeys are clearly visible. A fun day out!

Very nice and beautifully situated and everything well cared for a wide variety of monkeys. Just a pity that the monkeys no longer come to you as they used to. Maybe better for the monkeys. The distance to the entrance is far away. Maybe that should be mentioned at the parking place.

Most of the enclosures are closed, no to a few free running monkeys. We were here more often and it was really nice but now with corona measures you can do better for the money

Despite a time slot reservation it was still quite busy. When there were congestions, these were not resolved by the staff. Thus, the measures were not taken into account 100%.

A beautifully arranged park, a multitude of species of monkeys where many can be contacted directly - many smaller run freely - of which the youngest have the greatest joy - the monkey can even stroke! Great entertainment for the whole family :)

Sunday very busy, monkeys don't come that close anymore, they seem scared. Animals have good space. Take a picnic in a bag with a zipper because food is very expensive

Really very nicely made and entertaining. And the park next to it is also very beautiful and freely accessible.

The garden is great for the monkey, very large, and some monkeys are out of the cage and greeting you with visitors.

A very nice park, and despite the fact that there are only monkeys, a very nice zoo. This is the only zoo where monkeys roam free among visitors.

Despite the busy day we were there, we were able to see everything well.

With the season ticket you get unlimited access to Apenheul from April 14 to November 5, 2017, with many extras. We give a few examples: 50% discount on Madurodam, Walibi Holland, Safaripark Beekse Bergen, GaiaZOO, Monkey Town Apeldoorn, Diergaarde Blijdorp, Julianatoren and Avonturenpark Hellendoorn.

Nice monkey park with 35 types living in the nature. You can get closer of some and they don't get scared. The map is very educational for the kids. Most of the monkeys seem happy, only the orang-outan seems not on best cheap.

Fun! Well busy (Saturday) and no guarantee that you really get a monkey on your hand.

Unfortunately, half of the park is closed due to corona, and there are almost no monkeys around, although this is a bit of what you are going for. That this is not communicated on the website or anywhere (but they charge the full blow for entrance), but that you only find out after you have entered, I find downright rude.

Watching Apies is fun and we can learn a lot from them. Nice place.

Beautifully landscaped grounds with the possibility to see monkeys in many shapes and sizes. Free-running or protected, it remains very nice to view monkeys. Many are lazy by the way. For children there is much to do and learn. Excellent parking and many eateries at the park. The Apenheul bag is not a superfluous luxury ...

We have had a subscription to the Apenheul for around 10 years. Every year they know how to surprise us with improvements to the park. Park remains fun.
