A wonderful park and a paradise for children !! :) So lovingly designed playgrounds and the monkeys have so much space in contrast to several cramped zoos. Helpful staff. If you get involved you can spend the whole day there. We had the discounted ticket from 1 p.m. and it was totally enough for us. Even in bad weather. Of course, there are a few restrictions on the monkeys regarding Corona, but everyone who is planning to do something should be aware of this. Therefore I can absolutely not understand the sometimes bad rating of some people! Also this park is absolutely not expensive, for the extensive offer, especially for children! It was a great experience for us! :)

A very nice park with a wide range of different monkeys. A pleasure to walk around here for a day. Especially the squirrel monkeys who regularly sit on your shoulder or pram are great to see!

Great, had a great day with the whole family.

Great, had a great day with the whole family.
The park is beautiful, well maintained and clean.
Too nice if the monkeys come to sit on your shoulder.
Seen very special animals.
You have to be lucky with the weather, there isn't much inside.

It's cool to walk among the monkeys. Very educational too. The staff of the Apenheul does their very best to comply with the corona measures
life. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to keep enough distance. It's a great day out.

Beautiful wooded area. Park is neatly laid out, with a regular resting place. The gorilla feed moment is absurd, you are in a kind of amphitheater. There is only one route through the park. That is easy, but also boring. The bonobos are great.

Is a nice zoo. You have many places where the monkeys are loose. That is clearly indicated everywhere. In some parts it is difficult to see the monkeys properly because the enclosures have been recreated as faithfully as possible, which is better for those animals. Is nice if one is in the area to take a look especially with small children.

Nice park, but walking from the parking places to the park is way too long, my 2 year old child was already completely exhausted at the entrance.

Not many species of monkeys roam free. However, it is only 1 or 2 species that we saw.

Snacks are way too expensive compared to other parks, and much smaller portions what you get for it.

Advice: bring your own food / drinks.

Actually, everything should be covered. When we go it is raining cats and dogs. No ... we should pay attention to the weather forecast.
The park is very nicely set up and you can easily spend a day there. You are really close to the animals. We go 2 to 3 times a year. Highly recommended

Nice park with nice pens for the monkeys. Nice that they also come loose and lots of information. Fun for young and old. Museum shop is relatively expensive (with Artis and Burgers zoo for example).

Had a great day.

Had a great day.
It remains a beautiful park very clearly decorated according to the corona measures.

Huge park, but you can't get lost. Everything for comfort is taken care of, but nature lives freely: lakes, giant goldfish, turtles, ducks, and birds of all kinds; blooming bushes (rhododendron), clearings, green lawns, small islands, forests, bamboo plantations and streams and groves, which are connected by bridges, paved paths and, of course, everywhere boards, directions maps, such as we get at the entrance. This way we can always keep track of where we are, what kind of monkeys we can expect, what we will see, or how we can return to where the monkeys are waiting.
Occasionally (3) there is an official resting place with cafe, restaurant, tables, benches in the woods. Colorful birds fly and sing and we can relax under the cool foliage. SAnd that's not all!
The reason we come to the park is sok so many monkeys, tiny, small and big, and huge. Most of them come within reach, but the little ones also come and squeak in teams. Caregivers are very careful not to hold or feed the animals. It's hard to resist. But the speaker often repeats it. The caregivers are young boys and girls, very kindly answering our questions.
At the entrance, everyone gets a big, strong shoulder bag that little monkeys can't open, but they still know it's a bag and can hold something for them It's worth checking out online at what time they are fed , because then it is possible to see those who were already lazy in the bushes. This is also indicated on the map at the entrance.
It is good to be a monkey tendon Apenheul !! And a visitor too! Thank you!

Nice nice and neat grounds. The interaction with the public and animals and employees was also good. In explaining and how and why was top. . Only negatives found food was not good hot and tasty. And the toilets were dirty and there was a lot of urine air in the toilet, not exactly fresh. While you really can make toilet, s clean and so fresh that you do not have to smell the piss air. And you could barely wash your hands after the toilet visit. That can and should really be much better.

I do not recommend the monkey heul. The park is small you can get through it within 3 hours. Only at the beginning do the monkeys really get close to you and you. I also think the price of the park is very expensive compared to what you get.

The reastaurant is -5. The largest restaurant has only 25 tables. We had to eat outside under the umbrella while it was raining. Other families were eating in the rain. The 2 other restaurants don't even share one inside and all have tables under the umbrella. If you ask for a sandwich to get warm they don't have it.

The staff are also not wheelchair friendly. We looked at monkeys with another family with a wheelchair when the caretakers walked into the enclosure to feed the monkeys. Unfortunately, the girls immediately went upstairs. We could walk upstairs but the other family couldn't because they had made stairs on the sides of the mountain. While the 1 monkey was sitting downstairs, she also went along immediately, out of neatness she should first have given the monkey a grasshopper and then walk upstairs. The children were very disappointed that they could not see how the monkeys were fed.

Super.

Een park dat iedereen minimaal 1 keer met zijn kinderen moet bezoeken (vind ik). Zo'n aparte ervaring om omringd te zijn door aapjes die zonder enige terughoudendheid tegen je opklimmen.

Had a nice day in the Apenheul with the children. Unfortunately my daughter was bitten by a stray capuchin monkey. These just seem to run loose and don't serve to be petted. The gorillas especially made an impression.

Quite busy but that is to be expected with the rest of the holiday nice but prices for food are overpriced. By putting the word organic for each fries and croquettes they make it even more expensive while the food is not even that tasty. For such a price you expect a bit of quality but the hamburger bread was tough and the burger itself we will not talk about. I have to pay 4 euros for a cold chewy ciabata sandwich with a slice of cheese and salami, a bit of a shame.

I think the prices are super cheap 22.50 per person at the cbit Z. B. S. It was 100 per person that is a normal price for a park. A big part of the money goes into the protection of species. If half-time unmanned More

A nice place to discover different monkey species. The animals are well cared for and you are sufficiently informed about what is and what is not allowed. The food is mainly fast food, cheap but also tasty. Keep going!

Can only be recommended for large and small.

De Apelheul is a very fun 'zoo' which a nice variety of monkeys and apes. The landscaping is lovely and I would probably still have enjoyed the park even if there hadn't been any animals to look at. The only downside to our visit was that it was extremely busy. Too crowded to really walk around comfortably. Be sure to check their website where you can see how busy they expect certain dates to be.
