Very inspiring and meaningful story. Very well org...
Very inspiring and meaningful story. Very well organized museum.
Very inspiring and meaningful story. Very well organized museum.
A must see for sheer historical value. Go early to avoid queue.
I honestly can't tell you, because it is so crowded, that it was too much stress (on a vacation!) for me, to get a ticket and wait for ??? how long......
I was satisfied seeing it from the outside. That's the problem with Tourist Hot Spots everybody want's to see.
I will rather watch the movie at home and can say: I walked by there.
If you really want to see the tour, you have to bring "special energy" and patience just for doing this one.
Come early to avoid long queues. Very informative tour.
A place you have to see. All the people visiting the house with me were completely silent thinking about the tragedy lived by this family. We need to remember what happened.
Good piece of history. Can't not be in awe of the story of the girl.
Is a must, the tour takes an hour, maybe a little more. the house is completely empty, there are some ilustrative pictures to show how it was when they were hidden there. they offered free audio guide. Is a long tou, with stairs to climb and no places to sit.
Really want to visit this place, but cannot get the tickets. Very disappointed. Should organise better about the tickets, there is not all people who can book the holidays so many weeks in advance but the tickets on the website available just a month ahead from today only. So, even staying in Amsterdam for a week but still cannot get tickets.
This was a great experience. To see where this took place, to know her story, and learn more about her and her family was great.
Never made it on my previous trips, so check that off the list. Buy the tickets in advance (10 Euro), get there on time for your slot, and listen to the tour as you walk the building and warehouse.
Everyone should take the time.
The fact that you couldn t buy a ticket there you had to buy them online was a joke!
Amazing museum with tons of thoughtful exhibits. The museum is essentially led by its audio guide and is more or less a single file tour through the house. The beginning and ending are powerful and are good representations of Anne Frank s impact. A must see.
Highly recommended. Powerful and moving experience of the Jewish struggles during WW2
Moved to tears by the emotions evoked in Anne Frank's home. I traveled to Amsterdam for this experience alone.
Too much of a wait because this is one of the few main tourist attractions in Amsterdam. The history was interested.
An amazing museum covering not just Anne's hiding but all of Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. Quite, solemn, moving, and extremely well done.
Well done and necessary for all to experience to ensure it never happens again. It helped to better understand the circumstance and provide some perspective, without ever coming close to what it must have been truly like for all those involved.
Couldn't find hot dog stand. Just lots of people looking sad. Maybe about lack of hotdogs? Why called frank house if no hot dogs?
Brilliant tour and place to visit while in Amsterdam crazy and scary to think that this poor little girl and millions of others went thought the same situation and what an extraordinary young girl she was and even more to keep a diary for events each day truly inspirational women and place to visit
Really a very beautiful place, very well maintained and gives you the shudders.
Make sure you book well in advance!!!! It get very booked up. We had the tall before the tour, which was a really interesting talk, but then found that the rest of the tour just repeated the same information which was a little annoying. Try and avoid going peak times as it is so so busy.
The house itseft is boring. Nothing to see. The museum next to it may be much more interesting
Very well done tourist attraction. Very sad subject, done in. Thoughtful presentation. Timed slots helpful. BOOK IN ADVANCE!
Magnificent, a true history mark everybody should check out . Tickets available online if you want to avoid enormous waiting lines.
Powerful but understated. A must visit.
Note, however, that due to the nature of the building it's not suitable for those with mobility issues - there are some very steep stairs, and I don't think there are any lifts.
Huge lines! It takes well over 2+ hours to get in. But the experience was well worth it.
Really interesting.... it was like a live documentary but annoyingly crowded.
Definitely worth visiting, but I would suggest reserving tickets online(sooner the better).
Busy place....very slow process....interesting story but better things to see and do
Although not really my thing, I accompanied a friend on our trip to Amsterdam and found this very poignant, deep and educational. Although there isn't very much to SEE, the audio and footage combined with your imagination paints a very vivid picture.. I do feel the tour round the house could be a little more organised, bit of a free for all at certain junctures. All in all, I would say tickets are reasonably priced, gift shop very over inflated prices, as are most, and did not use coffeeshop.
Very poignant and moving experience. Definitely worth a visit.
If you plan to visit this museum, you need to book at least a couple of week earlier from the website. The walkin are admitted only from 3pm and there are people starting queuing from 12 o clock. resulting in a massive queue on the road which doesn't guarantee you the entrance. Inside the museum only a small part it is still the house, the majority is the next building adapted for the exposition , videos and photos. Overall a great experience. I was lucky because i could still found ticket on the website in the morning for the afternoon (released in that moment). I won't chance to go queuing. I don't think it is worth it spend 2/3 hours outside.
It's a nice tour to do if that's what you're into. But stairs are very very steep & high. This is clearly signed Before you go in though
Very complete tour. Price is pretty good too. Just buy the tickets at least a week in advance.
Nice experience. A nice tour of Anne Frank s hiding place
