Whats not to love. Massive brewery, walking tours, free beer, beer classes, gift shop, free beer, learn St. Louis history, free beer. Seriously the walking tour is great and you get to see a few Clydesdale if you are lucky. I also heard there is a new beergarten with a full restaurant that I have yet to try, may try to make a trip down soon.

Fun place. Take a tour, drink some newer, and learn the history and processes of Budweiser. The free tour is rushed but well worth what you pay for it. If you have more than a casual interest take one of the paid tours.

Barely adequate parking. Choice of tours available. Meet and hear about the clydesdales. I videoed (with permission) one that was romping around after getting a bath. Free tour lasts about an hour, ending in biergarten for free beer. Very nice gift shop.

If at all possible, make reservations for the "Beermaster Tour"! Even for someone like me who doesn't really drink beer, it's an impressive behind-the-scenes look at an efficiently run factory. You feel like a VIP as your small group is walked past all the other riff-raff in the lobby and enter the "employee only" door and head up to a room with plush sofas. From there, you are able to enter each of the main buildings and see everything from huge vats of beer to the clydesdales' stables. Definitely worth finding time for this tour if you're in town!

Went on the day fresh tour 10/26 with my boyfriend while visiting St. Louis. I had low expectations as my BF is the beer enthusiast, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was fun and informative and pretty interesting. Building is historic and beautiful, cool trolly ride and they are super generous with beer samples. Our tour guide was quirky and funny, too. Would recommend to anyone. 10/10

What adverse comment could anyone have about a fre...

What adverse comment could anyone have about a free tour where each participant receives free refreshments?

When you walk in, immediately look for the nice associate handing out tickets (they should be close to the entry). Each ticket is color coded and will be associated with a certain time. Tours run approx every 10-15 minutes.

If you become enthralled with the Budweiser NASCAR vehicle, and miss your assigned tour, you will need to go back and get a new tour ticket. You cannot just ride standby on an upcoming tour. This isn't Southwest Airlines. They don't overbook, so if you miss it, you're out of luck. Note to my foreign friends: "If you can't speak English too well, you won't be able to use that to your advantage. Get back in line and get a new ticket."

There is much to look at while waiting for your tour to commence. A gift shop is on the premises, but I'd suggest waiting until after the tour to make your purchases.

My tour guide was young and fun. We walked in the stables, the fermentation room (where you get to see exactly what Beechwood is), the mashing room, and the bottling area, before heading back on a tram.

While taking an elevator up to the observation deck of the mashing room, the guide asked if anyone had any questions she could answer. I asked if she could spell 'farfegnugen'. If you go, I suggest posing the same question.

Concluding the tour is a stop at the guest hospitality room, where each guest receives bag(s) of Rolled Gold pretzels. Everyone can have as much fountain drinks as they want. Those over 21 can have 2 samples of beer or malt beverages. Each sample is approx 10 oz.

If you're one of the first to the bar, you can chug your first 10 oz, and then head to the end of the line. This way, you might be able to squeeze 3 samples out of your visit.

Overall, I learned a little about the company and the brewing process. The tour was just OK for me. I like being able to say that I went on the tour. FYI: I'm not a militant beer drinker and I didn't have a 'beech-woody' when I walked through the doors.

Swoop Says: If you're traveling from out of town, and take the Metro Link... get off at the 'Stadium' station. Then, find a cab. It will cost around $7. Even if you count yourself in the penny-pinching ranks, don't be like me... and walk the 2.5 miles... especially if it is sunny, 98 degrees with high humidity. It's pretty much all uphill. If you just like fresh air, then head south on 7th St, and make a right at Lynch.

Honestly, this was hands down an amazing experience. I would suggest taking the BrewMasters tour, see the pic below, we got to drink 4 hour old Budweiser, and man the taste was unbelievable. Also, this is an amazing historical place to check out, if you don t like beer, do the free tour, you ll be impressed by how time dated the property is. Will do this again.

I love taking there free tour, seeing how the beer is made is always a good sight. At the end when you can see just what all they make makes you think that this is just a small part in there bigger picture.

The tour was very nice . The stables and the horses are beautiful. I would have given this a five star rating if we would have skipped the restaurant. The tables were not cleared, I cleared our table and washed it. We waited 45 minutes , before our server showed up. When she finally took our order we also asked for water, I asked her four times to bring us water and she never did. She did drop a tray of eight glasses of water on the gentleman across from us. She picked up the broken glass and wiped up the water on the floor, she
never said anything to the man she dumped it on.

As much as I'm not a Budweiser enthusiast, the brewery tour is incredible. I've been on multiple tours across the country, and overseas (the Fuller s Beer Factory in UK) but there is nothing quite like this one. The grounds are so large that they have buses to transport people to the buildings a long the tour. When I went, the Clydesdale horses were onsite and they were a sight to be seen. The most impressive aspect of the tour though has to be the sheer volume of beer this brewery makes. Incredible. Get there early, the earlier tours give you a little more time to enjoy the grounds. Also the free tour is more than enough unless you really want to get into the weeds. Cheers

Experience based on the Beermaster tour, which is a little pricey compared to the other tours, but I thought it was well worth it. The group size is limited to 10 or less, and you get an in-depth tour of the production areas and the stable with a good amount of tasting throughout. My group's tour guide was fun, friendly, and knowledgeable, and it is cool to see the vintage style of the historical buildings along with the massive production areas. Their commitment to QA on such a large scale is impressive, and seeing the bottle line in action was one of my favorite parts. Definitely recommended and they have other cheaper tours available too.

Awesome to see the old, but still operation brewery. There is a free tour that you can join that includes 2 free beers. You get to see the Clydesdales which is awesome. There is a restaurant inside that serves decent beer. Did I mention the free tour and free beer? It includes one at the end of the tour where you can choose from the numerous brands that are owned by Anheuser-Busch.

I worked there in the last year and was treated terribly as an employee by the managers. I say this not out of animosity, I liked the other employees, but most don't stay long. I have a medical condition and told the manager that it is something I can not help, which is a condition protected under the ADA. They kept asking me why I was having issues and I had to keep telling them the medical issue I was having. If you don't have any medical problems you may be fine, but the employees would always tell me why they hated working there. The job does pay well if you can handle a bad working environment. There are some good managers but, the manager in charge of the gift shop does lack good personal skills and usually is demoralizing to almost all of the employees. Again, I'm not putting this up to be mean to the Gift Shop, I'm just giving people who are interested in working here a heads up on what it was like when I work there.

Had a great time on the Day Fresh Tour. For $10, you get two beer tastings, a 16 oz of your choice, and a freshly packaged bottle of Bud Light. The tour lasts about an hour, and involves decent amount of walking as the facility is huge (although there are plenty of places to sit and rest if needed). The Clydesdales are absolutely massive, and the tour itself was pretty informative.

I'm not exactly a fan of Budweiser or Bud Light, but was pleasantly surprised to see they served a lot of other beers here too; the sheer size of the brewery makes it a worthwhile visit even if you're not a Budweiser fan. I would definitely recommend the Kona Big Wave and Golden Road Mango Cart!

This is the Hogwarts of beer castles. Let me tell you what. Bottom line is if you re going for the free tour, don t complain if it doesn t measure to your expectation (grow up). Spend the money for the brew master tour and get the real deal. For $35 you get an exclusive tour that goes through some of the main components of the brewing process as well as the stables. Not only that you get to bypass the other groups and get into areas you wouldn t normally see. Not only that you are drinking along the way. At times, they have special kegs waiting. Other times they have a fridge stocked waiting for your taste buds. At one point you get to taste some of the beer as fresh as it gets and my Atlanta, that totally made the tour worth it. You walk away with a hat, glass, fun tips, fun facts, and a buzz. Whether you tour alone or bring a date, whether you re out of town or a local, it s an experience worth experiencing. Pitter patter, better get at er.

the brewery lights employees said it closed at 10 they said that 9:30 no more drinks were served alcohol or anything else they said no more food was served at 9:30 they said no more horses were being seen before 9:30 and the employees were quite rude they told the people that they could they told the people in front of my partners they can go have a nice life so they didn't see the horses they stopped they stop the train right in front of our small child exactly 931 while they have been waiting out in the cold for a little small train ride and then when our small child had to go to the bathroom they said the bathrooms are closed and the next bathroom had no toilet paper it's quite disgusting very bad customer service I will not be going back and I used to enjoy the brewery lights so if you'd like a nice experience with your family or loved ones please do not go go somewhere else

Really interesting tour of an incredibly well maintained working brewery with so much history. Our tour guide, Jack, wasn't even old enough to drink but did a good job with the narration. It is also completely wheelchair accessible, making it very easy to get around.

Free Beer on the tour. Seriously, how can you beat Free Beer and Clydesdale? It is also a fairly interesting tour too and makes for a must see component of a St Louis visit. (Although, I still prefer Schafly.)

We went to the Brewery Lights with our son James, his wife Jessica and our grandchildrenAshton, Avalynn, and Douglas. I was a wonderful evening. The lights were beautiful and the buildings were amazing, especially the Clydesdale Barn built in 1885. My only suggestion is that if you have trouble walking take something to assist you. There are few places to sit and lots of walking.

You get beer at the end, and it was free the last time that I went. The tour is run without a hitch, very professional and very interesting to see the process of making beer. You also get to see the world famous Clydesdales. I went with kids and they also enjoyed and got to drink juice and pretzels in the end so it was great for them as well.

I definitely recommend it.

Check in was pretty quick. The young lady at the desk was really nice. I gave 3 stars because I was delivering and she had me parked to wait for a call and after an hour someone found me and knocked on my door. I had to go to another location up the street to get unloaded. Once I got there I had to check in again. The guy who unloaded me was really nice. It took him about 35 mins to unload me. I would have given more stars but just needs to be a bit more organized with the process.

For many years, we have went as a family to see the lights at Anheuser-Busch via car. The last two years, we have attended the Brewery Lights event and are very happy that this tradition lives on with our family. Fun and festive, the brewery lights are our new tradition.

We came here to see the lights after being recommended by a friend. It was disappointing to say the least. They had one straight path of lights and by lights I mean trees wrapped in lights. We knew in advance the tours would be sold out which was fine. After reading the website and listening to people talk about the lights, it just did not meet our expectations. Still a cool experience though.

Great brewery tour. Unfortunately, all the tours were sold out this past weekend when I was in town. I ve done this tour several times and this was the first time that every tour was sold out. We still had a great time looking at the Xmas decorations, visiting the gift shop, and having a couple drinks in the beer garden. A great thing to do in StL even if you don t drink beer. Perhaps call ahead and reserve tickets beforehand.

I had not been to the brewery in years. The last time I went, the tours were free....NOT ANYMORE! $11 per person. There still was a free tour, but you don t see the Clydesdales, you don t go to the bottle house , no free beer. I paid the $11 because I was with out of town family, but never again. The $11 tour includes samples of some of their product along the tour. I asked for Elysian Space Dust ( which they had a tap handle for), sorry, we don t have that . When we finished the tour, they also offer a sample of their beer. They were out of everything except Bud Light.
I ll finish with this, August Busch would be embarrassed by how HIS brewery is being run. That man loved his hometown!

Great place to visit. Showed you the history of the beer manufacturer. How beers were made. 3 fresh drinking samplers for the tour and a fresh bottle to take home. Mid west drinks 800,000 boxes per 17 hours. Damn that s 9.6 mil bottles. Nice and friendly tour guide.

4 stars only because there was no signage letting drivers know what street to enter the facility on. The gps will have you take Lynch, and that will make you have to make a sharp turn to get into the facility. If you take sydney it will take right into the facility with no problem. Other than that check in was quick and smooth, got loaded within 45min and I was out of the in no time. Employees had great attitudes as well.
