We went to the Wild Turkey Lounge for the first time and it was beautiful just as I expected. Angus Barn is known for its atmosphere and high prices so no surprises there. The staff were amazing and we had a wonderful time!

Lately my family and I had a lot to celebrate, so we did a lot of eating out at different restaurants. Our experience was ruined by the service... So it was so refreshing celebrating my wedding anniversary with my husband at the ANGUS BARN, the service provided was exceptional!!! There was not a lot of waiting and when we used a dish it was immediately removed from the table, water and wine was always full.

The dinner rolls were so fresh, I couldn't stop eating it. I enjoyed the giant marinated shrimp comes with 4 in the combo meal (they are giant). French onion soup was warm and flavorful. After the main entree I was stuffed, but a bite of the chocolate chess pie, there was no stopping. It was served warm with a scoop of their homemade vanilla ice cream .

I ve given my review a 3 star review based on a first time experience. Summing up my experience, if your coming here for flavor I d suggest a more high end restaurant in downtown Raleigh. This sides and soups aren t anything above ordinary that you can get at another restaurant like ocharleys. Now the meat selection itself the quality of the meat is phenomenal. Very little fat and cooked perfect but it lacks seasoning. You can pay extra for the flavor but even with the Oscar it still lacked it, the seasoning to meat is very important and is what pulls everything together. The fine southern dining experience is great to take someone from out of town but you won t want to take them more then once. Our server, was very quick and prompt- this is fine but for our family not so much. To serious of a tone kinda of set the expectation that he was above himself in away or even us as a paying consumer. Reaching over us to grab things, not saying your welcome, not a problem etc. The 2nd waiter was amazing he had the appropriate humor, personality made the table feel appreciated!

When you come to angus barn- your coming for 2 things the fine southern dining experience and the quality of their meat. That is it.

Fancy dinner in a semi casual environment. I love the complimentary cheese and relish bar and the steaks are always delicious. Great place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary!

This is an old style restaurant where you are taken care of. It's a warm wooden structure with a great selection of lounges. Sarah was our waitress and she was very respectful, warm, and generous.

I had the ribeye with the blue cheese and balsamic with garlic mashed potatoes. My date had the filet mingnon. We had the lobster bisque and oyster rock. Everything we ate was heaven. The hefeweissen was perfect too! I'm coming back in 2 months for my birthday!

This is the place you need to go at least once. As soon as you pull up you realize why it is so popular. It s huge! It s a fine dining atmosphere, with an Applebee s mentality; burn em and turn em. The food was good and the service was More

This place is my favorite for special occasions, birthdays and anniversary. They never disappoint! The portions are giant and the wine is delicious. Our server was named Guy and he was outstanding. I love bringing people here when they are visiting from out of town. I had the filet and it was perfect. This cheesecake is only 1 of the MANY options they have.

The atmosphere is wonderful. I had the combo bacon wrapped filet with pork ribs. The bbq sauce was excellent. They give you a wet rag for after you're finished to clean up with. The ribs were so juicy they just fell off the bone. No wet towel needed! Server and hostess were very friendly. I'd definitely go back!

Wonderful atmosphere, upper crust service, delectable food. I didn't care for the odd table offerings of soft cheese and pickles. I prefer the traditional bread with butter. The service, quality, and decor is one of a kind!

First time visit this evening. This place takes me back to my childhood at the Country Club. It's huge, seating over 700 people. They go through over 12 tons of beef every month. That's 24,000 lbs! Jumbo shrimp were great. Hug and meaty. T-bone had a great flavor. Strawberry Cheesecake melted in my mouth. I will return here. Next time I'll get the onion rings which are enormous.

Overhyped and over priced. I got the prime rib. No seasoning at all! The caesar salad was as blah as I've ever had. Perhaps the other non-steak items are fine but as it's called Angus Barn you'd expect the steak/beef to be THE best.

I was told that the Angus Barn should be on my Raleigh foodie bucket list so I was fortunate to be invited there for my birthday dinner recently. The venue was warm and friendly but still very romantic for a date night. There are several areas to explore, the bar was comfortable, and the bar service was quick getting a drink while I waited for our table. I was treated to a tour of the kitchen and was served in a private room called the "Meat Locker" where I was entertained by a magician with amazing card tricks. The evening was complete by friendly staff that served a perfectly seasoned dinner. I can't wait to go back again.

You want different, you want atmosphere, you want historical, you got it. The Best Steak. If you are visiting Raleigh it's one of those must do places. Also The Pavilion is the greatest wedding venue in the Triangle.

Our favorite place to go for special occasion dining. The lower lounge with its impressive collection of weapons, and the Wild Turkey Lounge with its easy and comfortable atmosphere are easy going.
Service in the main dining room is exemplary. Customer service is number one, and the food is routinely excellent. We have never ventured to test the wine menu or the cigar humidor, but for those interested they may hold surprises or standards for enjoyment.

Iconic Raleigh restaurant. Outstanding wait staff that cannot do enough for you. Premium steakhouse with matching prices, but worth it. Get there early and enjoy a drink in the Wild Turkey lounge and don't forget your Apple on the way out. My personal recommendation: the chateaubriand for 2. Awesome and there is more than enough to take home.

The Tomahawk steak is well worth the money. It's huge so splitting it makes sense. Also, by getting steak cooked medium rare, leftovers are amazing when cut up in small pieces and added to your favorite dishes like breakfast burritos or a salad. If you arrive starving, try not to ruin your appetite by over eating the complimentary cheese and crackers.

We sat at the Chef's table where we were served an unbelievable 5 course dinner. It was actually 6 because after commenting on the great looking ribs, we were served some of those! The entire staff was accommodating and friendly. We were given an entire pound cake to take home with us as well. After dinner, we enjoyed a tour of the restaurant, as well as the wine cellar. This place is unbelievable. Always known as the best in Raleigh and they continue to be at the top. Our most enjoyable dining experience EVER!
