Our first visit and cant wait to go back.House made dressings, cheesy pizza, nice atmosphere and friendly service.

Not the best service hat to wait awhile before someone even come to let me pay for my food and get it. Waitress was nice tho. Main reason for this review is because the food is Bland needs more seasoning like it s edible and decent but definitely needs more flavor. Little Italy was way better when they was in there.

Great pizza and wings tonight. Wings are fresh!! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and the place was packed so I'm not the only one who is catching on to this place.

The Angry Italian is pretty good. It's the only place I know that you can get a real Chicago style pizza, but the crust on ours was a little over done. The service was great, and despite having a really hard crust, the pizza was delicious.

If you're looking for authentic Chicago deep dish pizza, look no further. A large deep-dish takes 45 minutes to bake because it has so much cheese. My favorite pizza is the Southsider, with pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms. There's a good selection of local and craft beers. Sit tight if there's a wait; it's worth it.

The best deep dish pizza I've ever had. Our waitress was was wonderful. The prize was good and we will definitely be going back often.

The absolute best deep dish pizza I've had in years! Had the sausage and pepperoni Chicago deep dish pizza, spaghetti and meatballs, and a ravioli appetizer. All the dishes were fantastic. The sauce was thicker than most with nice chunks of tomato and just the right amount of seasoning. The pizza crust was perfectly crisp and delicious. The ravioli was simply exquisite. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and didn't let your cup go dry. Restaurant was very clean. Be advised that the restaurant is on the small side, but seating is not crowded. Prices were good for high quality, freshly made Italian dishes. Simply put... if you want great Italian food just visit the Angry Italian.

This is some of the best Italian we have had in a long time. The service was superior on top of that. We had the Classic Chicago Deep Dish and it is well worth the wait! Get some cheese bread and an Old Style from draft while you wait! You won t regret it!

I absolutely love this place, since Covid took off I ve really made an effort to only get food to go or cook at home-this is one place more than worthy of take out!!

The staff are all very friendly, genuinely concerned about the pandemic and have implemented a mask requirement, and the food is always on point.

I have yet to try their deep dish pizza but a guy I work with thinks the world of it; I typically just get the regular pizza and it s always fantastic-definitely my favorite pizza place next to Scratch in JC. Plus I believe it s one of the only places you can get anchovies on your pizza

If you re in the area and want to hit up a local staple please grab some take out/curbside from Angry Italian, you won t regret it.

D only thing I like that night was the service , meatballs were not cooked all the way , pizza was wet and doughy on the bottom , not my time of pizza , beer was good

Delicious. Best pizza I've ever had. We ordered the deep dish( takes 45min to cook) and it was amazing! The place itself is kinda on the smaller side so it does get pretty busy but it is worth it.

Had the fried ravioli and deep dish pizza. All was very good and staff was friendly.

I really thought the pizza would be good, but we got a slice of pepperoni and supreme with jalapeno. Both had burned crusts,and jalapeno was left off the pizza, they were awful, crust almost black. When waiter asked if everything was ok, we told him about it and he said he was sorry but did nothing to correct the problem, we didnt even finish it, it was so gross. To bad, we had high hopes for some real New York style pizza. I dont think these people have ever had NY style pizza.

I love this place. Fabulous food, the owner and the staff are always friendly, and the atmosphere is cool and kitchi. I eat there from time to time, my wife works downtown and I meet her for lunch there occasionally, and I've never had a bad meal in this place. I will keep going back. Love it.

Great food and atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Prices aren't bad, probably looking at around $20/person.

This place is so awesome. All their stuff is freshly-made none of their stuff comes in Frozen. You can order a deep dish pizza and it'll be ready as soon as you get there. The wait staff and cook and staff should get 5 stars for their excellent service. This restaurant is one of the cleanest restaurants I've ever been in. And it's very affordable for a decent fresh meal. I would recommend if you are in the Bristol area in Tennessee!! Do please go there and try out the stuff they have on their menu. I will definitely be telling all of my friends and family about this restaurant and how nice the hostess was when we walked in. We really had a wonderful experience at the angry Italian. We will definitely be going back!!!

It was a wonderful place to eat small and cozy. The food was delicious our server was sweet.glad I don't live to close I would eat there every day.

I love The Angry Italian! You feel my hometown Chicago... the food, delish and authentic! My only problem I have, they should have shipping options! I live an hour and 1/2 away!

Marinare a sauce is supposed to be thick and delicious this was a water it had some kind of weird spice honestly it was Gross and a charger $2 for water that Reddish was very disappointed won't go there again

Having moved to the TriCities from Chicago, the one thing I've missed besides the traffic (KIDDING!), is deep dish pizza. A couple of places in the area have tried, but it never really seemed authentic.

I'm happy to say that those days are over!

The decor, the atmosphere and the food are all genuine Chicago. As Keith, the owner, will tell you...the only thing different from his pizza and pizza in Chicago is that his water doesn't come from Lake Michigan.

I'm visiting from out of town and am of Italian background. This food is exceptionally well prepared and served. My waitress, Shannon, was stellar with her knowledge of the menu and ingredients. Everything is fresh made, not frozen and family affordable. Thank you Angry Italian for a taste of grandma's cooking! Mangia Mangia

I've never eaten anything here that I didn't like. If you order one slice of pizza, you'll get one of a fairly large size that more than justifies the price. The calzones are, simply put, godlike, with the best melting cheese and texture of crust. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is quite well decorated -- it really gets into the New York theme.

Definitely one of my top recommendations for pizza in all of Bristol.

Great service and fantastic food. Will be back soon! If you re looking for great pizza, skip Machiavelli s and come here! Best decision you ll make all day and far superior service (the waiters certainly didn t seem stoned, which is more than I can say for Machiavelli s).

Damn good pizza. They is say it's Chicago deep dish but not quite. The crust is deep but thin not the thick classic crust of a Chicago pie. Dont let that stop you though it's definitely one of the better pizzas in the tricities.

Please dont get me wrong this is a great pizza. Probably closet you'll get in the tricities. It's not as thick as the true classics. Go get pizza here you will definitely enjoy it.

My family really enjoyed the pizza. The breadsticks with cheese are awesome. The marinara was a pleasant surprise typically I don't like marinara, but I love theirs. Only down fall is limited space so it seemed like we were being rushed all little. Either way we will be going back for further exploration of their menu. Hope this was helpful to anyone that is undecided on whether or not to try this place.

They have one of the best deep dish pizzas i've ever had. It takes 45 minutes from the time you order and is worth every minute.

We really liked it. The service was prompt friendly. There was no wait on a Wed at 2pm. We had the deep dish classic which has pepperoni and sausage and a pound of cheese. I loved it, a lot. My wife felt that it was too rich and perhaps a bit too much if that's even possible. Will deffinatly be back. If you are going to order the deep dish which takes 45mins they allow you to call ahead and get the order going so your wait is not so long.

The pizza was excellent. It was deep dish with delicious fresh ingredients. Be prepared for a wait due to the cook time of your pizza. It is expensive but very good.

Well I can't say enough about this place. Again we went here because it was a highly recommended and they deserve all the compliments. Definitely a five star restaurant and more trip is just a small family-owned restaurant and everything is homemade they do not even own a microwave. Pizza was superb. We also got the eggplant parmesan and some garlic bread packed with mozzarella cheese an oh gosh dipped in that spaghetti sauce of theirs was divine. Too much to eat there so we had another wonderful meal the day after.oh and the meatballs were excellent and my homemade ranch dressing I could have eaten the whole bottle. Yes we loved the Angry Italian.

We moved here a year ago and tried every place for pizza use to go back to Chicago to get are pizza and bring them back not anymore if you never had Chicago pizza you need to go to the angry Italian it is the real deal

Highly recommend you bring your family in and enjoy a deep dish pizza. The wait staff is incredible very nice and sweet. And Miss Gail is the hostess and she was so wonderful to us. Should you take your family friends down and have some wonderful Italian fresh food

I must say i have eaten a lot of pizza but you truly haven't had great pizza until you have eaten here. OMG quite possibly the best pizza ever. We have been looking for a good pizza since we have been here and found this place by accident. Best accident we have ever had. Thank you for serving us Anna! You are amazing!!!!

The food and our server was good. However, the owner s mother was very rude to our table. We had ordered a deep dish pizza online because the website said it takes 45 minutes to make it.
We came in to order from the menu and dine in. We were not just planning to eat from the online order. The owner s mother came to our table and went ballistic on us. She talked to us like 5 year olds, and would not let us explain. She told us we ordered take out, and we were taking up a table. She even shook the online order receipt at us!!
Finally, she said she would allow us to stay and eat, which we did because we didn t want to cause another embarrassing scene. Three different orders were placed. Three orders that didn t have to be placed after we were chastised!!
After we placed our order, we did go back to your webpage and it plainly stated that online orders can be turned into dine in orders. So, if you do not plan to honor your disclaimer you need to take it down from your website. You may also need to give your mother a few lessons of southern hospitality, and that the customer is always right.

If you're in Bristol, go here!! Amazing food! Wonderful, friendly service. Just an all around fun time with great food!

Absolutely wonderful! My wife and I had the best waitress I think we've ever had, all of the staff was great and very friendly, my wife begged me to come here months before and I never did, now I wish I would have months ago! You cant go wrong here!

Chef level dining! The chicken marsala was not what I was expecting. But the best I ever had. Personal service and made to order. You won t be disappointed!

The Italian beef sandwich is awesome. Truly authentic Chicago style sandwich.

Great Chicago style pizza and a good selection of local beer. We really had a fun night. And the bruschetta was incredibly good. Went back the next week and had their killer sacchettoni pasta.

There aren't too many places in northeast Tennessee you can find an Italian beef sandwich. The giardinera will light you up. Old Style on tap. Nice place.

Not bad for a small Italian restaurant. Pricey although. Won't necessarily stop here again but wouldn't discourage others from trying it.
