Great food! The deep dish transported us home. Crust, sauce, and cheese were money. Wonderful service

Cool atmosphere, VERY good food and wonderful service.

Wow. We had a group so got to try and share many dishes. The pizza is top notch.
The sausage and peppers (requested spicy) was very good. The same for the lasagne.
The calzone is huge and tasty.
The spaghetti with meat sauce is delicious.
The star was the sacchatino. We had never had this dish. Little pasta purses filled with sausage and parmesan covered with "Keith's special sauce". Absolutely amazing!
The service is prompt, friendly and helpful every time.
This is a great value for the quality and quantity of food.

I have heard nothing but great things about this place and I will come back. But never again on a Saturday Night. They were very busy and very rude. They questioned me 3 times about me waiting an hour. I finally just left. If they can't handle hectic, they don't need to be there.

Thin crust pizza is excellent, and the waitress was attentive and had great recommendations.

I am a foodie. I think food is an experience. This place exceeded my expectations. The pizza was the best pizza I've EVER had. The derp dish takes 45 min so we ordered the thin crust with mushrooms, onions, hot peppers, Italian Sausage. It was so fresh. So crispy. The Ranch Dressing is to die for. I wish they had 6 star rating because this place deserves it. The Angry Italian made this girl so happy. Thank you.

We had the deep dish and it was the worst pizza crust we have ever had. We pulled all of the toppings off of the crust and only ate the toppings. Waitress didn t even ask how our pizza was.

We ate here for lunch yesterday. Located on 6th Street right off of State Street. Delicious New York style pizza by the slice (all day) or purchase a whole pizza, can drinks, draft beer, and more. This is a cool scene, with a real lil' Italy feel. Fast service and helpful staff. I will definitely be coming back!

I really liked this place. Our group all got different things and enjoyed them a lot. I can definitely recommend the calzones. The crust is flakey and delicious. I've never had one quite like it, but I will definitely be returning to try more things.

Best Chicago Pizza outside of Chicago. Period.

Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, well suited for recommending what will fill that spot . You know, that empty feeling that craves good Italian food from one of the country s iconic locations, Chicago.

Go for the pizza, stay for the 2 dollar Old Style drafts! Will be back to tackle a Chicago beef sandwich next!

They gave our table to another couple that came in 10 minutes after us!!!! We have been to this restaurant several times, but after that we left, and will never return here. Avoid this restaurant at busy times.

Absolutely the most authentic Italian, and Chicago deep dish pizza you will get in this area. Keith makes all of his dishes from scratch using family recipes. The service is always excellent, although I've seen several commenting that the owner's mother is a rude server. This couldn't be further from the truth. You will not want or wait for anything when she is taking care of you, but if you are looking for someone to pad your ego as a customer, you need to go somewhere else. Again, this place is amazing.

Hands down the best deep dish pizza I've ever had. Definitely check it out and they have more than just pizza. Can't wait to go again.

Four of us visited Bristol for the first time and as it was on a Monday, many places were closed yet spending the entire dsy in Bristol we ate at a couple other places and can tell you that the Angry Italian was like a little hidden treasure. We had their daly special which was over the top great and at a lesser price than all the rest of the places. Service was excellent and had a nice family feel. Highly recommended!

Being fair and honest hurts sometimes because I would love to give this place five stars the people are amazing, it s a really cool eclectic place and the food and service are out of this world.... with the exception of one thing, The Italian beef sandwich. It s a huge bummer because since red hots in Johnson City closed down a few years ago there s nowhere to get a good Italian beef sandwich which is a staple in Chicago cuisine. Their Pizza is Chicago authentic and very,very good. I ve had both the deep dish and the thin crust, both are outstanding but I m a fan of the Lou Malnadi s style deep dish and I would put it up against any of the finest I had in Chicago. I live in Johnson City but don t mind the short drive to Bristol to visit The Angry Italian at all. With the exception of the Italian beef sandwich the food is as Chicago authentic and delicious as you ll find anywhere outside the Windy City. I originally went for the Italian beef sandwich but we stay and keep going back because of everything else.

The Best Pizza
I was in Johnson City for business travel and wanted some cheesy pizza & OMG my coworker told me about the place. All I can say is DELICIOUS!!!

Everything was fresh I'll definitely make a trip back here just to go eat at Angry Italian!

Good friendly service with great Chicago style pizza. Pizzas are made to order so a deep dish will take up to 45 min, but worth the wait.

The food is amazing. I love it all pizza, pasta, hot dogs and my favorite Italian beef sandwich in the world just like being back home. There is something for everyone at this place. Went for the first time tonight, had the deep dish classic, this was the best pizza I've ever had, everthing was fresh, and homemade. Will definitely be back! Also great atmosphere and really friendly staff.

Very Friendly and welcoming server and absolutely fresh and delicious food! Great little place to eat in a nice atmosphere. Their pizza is to die for and their ranch dressing is the best dressing I've ever had. It's reasonably priced too. I highly recommend!

Love the Chicago deep dish pizza. Family run business, and they are from Chicago. It doesnt get any more authentic than this. The deep dish can take a while to make, so go when you have a lot of time. They do warn you of this when ordering. Highly recommended.

I have eaten here twice now and have yet to see or taste anything they cook here that isn't just awesome. Servers take really good care of you and make sure your satisfied.

Me and my wife Lisa came to your establishment last Tuesday night between 6 and 7pm. We ordered a deep dish pizza which was amazing but we noticed a server sitting on a stool in the corner. She couldn't hold her eyes open whatsoever.... the same server in question, happened to be our server as well. According to our receipt, her name was Shannon. When she approached our table, me and my wife noticed some white residue hanging from one of your nostrils. I don't like putting posts like this up but if it were my business then I would want someone to tell me. Great job on the deep dish pizza!!!

Good Chicago style pizza. Add a little snow and you might be on the south side. They even have draft Old Style. Italian beef sandwiches and sausage sandwiches too.

Love their Breadsticks and pizza. There pasta and salad looks awesome too but haven't try those yet.

My first try with Chicago style pizza. Guess I'm just an Italian pizza girl. Didn't like it and seemed to expensive for what we got.

The customer service here is beyond exceptional. Was looking for some decent pizza on the fly and stepped in. I was amazed how good the food is. Any place that serves Chicago hotdogs and deep dish pizza has got to be GREAT! So YASSS DO TRY IT OUT. You won't regret it!
