Superb location and great resort. Didn't get to experience the whole of it but the rooms are lovely and has an apartment feel to it. Big balconies and villa styled blocks make the appearance very beachy.. good staff and awsume huge breakfast..

I stayed at The White Rose in 2002 and it s still a beautiful resort now in 2018! It was perfect for my family of four including 2 young children. Not a massive place so you don t get lost and everything is nearby. Still nice and spacious and lovely grounds and pool.
Hotel buildings and furniture including the old model, but with a very Balinese exterior interior. Very friendly and helpful service. The food tastes good, but a bit lacking in variety on the breakfast menu, more inclined to American breakfast interspersed with several local menus ...
Not the same as 4 years ago. Used to have kettle in the room. Now only provided upon request. Plus some rooms are too near the club and noisy until 3am. Me and my wife could not sleep.

No drinking water service in the room,you have to use water cooler which is available in main area. No privacy in the room .AC is not working. No bellboy in resort, you have to take your luggage. You ask for king bed they Attach mattress but after some time you will get gap in between both the mattress

Clean hotel and nice facilities. Located in the middle of the busy area but off a small road, so it is very quiet.
Nice hotel. Pleasant ambiance. Very friendly staff...lizards/gecko will keep you company....just kidding I only saw one in the room. Can be noisy at times due to nearby clubs. Very nice outdoor pool area. Breakfast was filling and they provided a lot of different options.
So relaxing,two years in a row and I will be back for sure!
Very Nice & Beautiful Place with lots of Greenery in the centre of the Denpasar city. Food is awesome. Nice rooms and Pool Villas. All the staff is well professional, polite and friendly.
My daughter and me were at white rose from Dec 16 to 23. We enjoyed every minute. Since we were vegetarians and non alcoholics great care was taken to meet our needs. Our room card didnt work few times. manager Sudhama compensated with spa vouchers and immediately sorted issue.

Breakfast was really good - lots of variety. Spa available with good specials which was fantastic! The spa is busy so you have to book in advance. Restaurant still had licensing issues so only local beer was available. The food was good and room service is available. Free towels service available at the pool, the spots full up quite quick. Very nice clean pool. I was concerned about all the reviews regarding noise, and this really was never an issue.

Rooms are decent. Restaurant food is better than some of the places around but a bit more pricy. Service is 5/5. Loud music from club, till 4am Everyday!!! Amenities are excellent: good massage room and therapists, very very clean and inviting pools, well groomed gardens. Ambiance is top notch, till the club partying starts...
3 star for hotel and additional 1 mark for familiar n best staff.

Good spacious rooms and pool okay. Located on very busy street during peak time you can get stuck in car for 30-45 minutes on one way road to cover distance of 850 meters to the hotel.
Nightclub music nearby hotel can be very loud to get good sleep during nights

Not the friendliest.. I spend so much money staying in this place and they don't even seems to have respect for their guests.. I'm really disappointed.. I would not come here again.. please people save you money for another hotel that is better service this thing matter when you try to enjoy your vacation.
Very good location bang on liegon street is very happening any body visiting kuta bali indonesia,my personal opinion check in at white Rose resort u will have a ball,Ican bet my last dollar on that.

Breakfast isn't bad for it being free.
Other food and drink is pretty bad though. Paid equivalent to $20 for a pizza and nachos via room service as I was feeling too ill to go out, the food was nasty. Nachos stale, salsa and guac were virtually grey in colour and sat in an oil... Really bad which is a shame!
Had the food been better, and there be a better and cheaper choice of food and drinks at the bar, I would have happily given a full 5*

This was my first Bali trip with my wife. We went with other family members who had been before and booked the Hotel for us. The rooms had been recently refurbished and while some of the finishing touches were a little scruffy, the rooms were very clean and tidy. Breakfast was included and the pool and facilities were good. We certainly enjoyed our stay.

Nice hotel in appearance and good service in the restaurant but it stops there. At check-in we ask for confirmation for a king size bed and we are sent to a twin room. On the phone we are told that tomorrow, maybe a king will be available. Then we see that all the bedding is stained or with small holes + hair in the shower and mirror traces. I call on the phone and I am told that we will see what we can do. Nothing visibly because more news then. We go straight to the reception, and suddenly, rooms are available in king size. Housekeeping is still in but it's coming soon. A solution but no verbal excuse or compensation for a failed arrival. The room that gave us is in kingsize but still with bedding and stained towels. Added a smell of moisture from the bed linen and air conditioning, and a long hair around the pencil on the bedside. In short: great pool and good restaurant but do not sleep there. A shame for a resort half empty of being unable to provide a clean and healthy room, matching the reservation.
Comfortable, fragrant, quiet place, if you want anything, just call the receptionist, the problem is resolved. And most delicious when night falls, the night environment around the hotel isn't finished in one night. Great job.

Our room was not ready , when we checked in, the air conditioner didn't work, intermittently, eventually we got to swap rooms, when the man came to fix it, he took his shoes off and just stood up on the desk, didn't move any of our things away, so his feet were there amongst our things, which was quite awful to see. When we booked our accommodation, we asked for a nice room with a view and we were at the very furtherest from from the pool and any gardens.
It was lovely to receive an anniversary cake from the hotel, was an exciting surprise.
I know its not the white rose fault, but it was horrible having to walk past the beggars with their stalls on the walk out to the street . They got quite nasty to us several times. The position of the resort and the pool area was lovely. The price of our accommodation was very good, i thought. The meals were lovely . Staff were great.
It was our first time in Bali, have been to Thailand 3 times and really enjoyed the batering there, we did NOT enjoy the batering in Bali at all....

The rooms were not cleaned until 6.30pm most days. Only beds made and towels were changed no clean coffee cups or glasss were exchanged everyday. Bedsheets not changed the whole 11 days we were there. Bathroom mirrors and bench tops not wiped over. The hotel is not disability friendly couldn t go upstairs for any breakfasts. Had a bad fall on one of the pathways at night as there was no lighting there and paving was missing. Hurt hand and knee badly. Management never even checked the next day as to how I was going. Was told to drink a lot of water as that would help after my fall I asked if I could get some water and was told No you already got two bottles in your room. The pool is not disable friendly as you can t get out. The steel steps of the pool are coming away from the screws in the ground. Food and drinks extremely expensive at hotel bar/restaurant.
Daughter thought this was a nice hotel with a large swimming pool. Room looks very neat and bathroom and toilet too. Only one downside, there was 1 very grumpy waitress at the wait staff.

NOT WORTH FOR HONEYMOON
We arrived for checkin about 2:00 pm and they still did not have the room ready, so we had to wait almost an hour and they knew we were going to arrive at the agreed time.
The very normal room next to the pool and the restaurant.
One of the nights some drunken foreigners were drinking, with music and laughter without the safety of the hotel appearing there.
Breakfast quite poor, juices are powders with water, little variety and less quality.
The only good thing about it is the location as it is next to the nightclubs and restaurants of Kuta, and a few minutes from the beach walking.
BEWARE OF THE CHANGE MONEY OF THE AREA !! They tried to cheat twice, count well when you receive the money!
Awesome resort! They greet you with a tasty tea!Worth staying and very very friendly staff! The night life in the neighborhood is worth mentioning! All the local shopping market, restaurant, live music restaurants are quite close. The food is a little on the pricey side but still worth for the ambience Nevertheless you are also given a complimentary breakfast (Not sure if it's based on the room booking) and the food is very tourist friendly. So you will love the food irrespective of the place you have come from
Whiterose Hotel has the best bar service. Whether it be friendly staff serving alcohol around the pool or sitting at the bar watching Aussie Rules or listening to music. The rooms are spacious, clean and very well maintained. The staff are a credit to Whiterose management, who go out of their way to make sure you have a great holiday experience and go home relaxed and refreshed.
