Aneka Kuta Resort & Spa Review

Overall this was a great experience. My two friends and I spent 8 full days here it was a blast. The free breakfast every morning was very convenient. We participated in a free cooking class that was amazing! Also, the hotel has a money exchange station so you dont have to go to sketchy places outside. The spa at the resort is phenomenal - totally worth the price!

Best place to sleep in Kuta Bali, I enjoyed my stay there

White rose hotel is very spacious setup. The rooms are spacious clean. The pool is actually really clean comparing to the places i have been in bali. The staff is very helpful and they can even arrange day trips from there. They got a money exchange near the reception. They got a ayurvedic spa on site which is open until 8pm. The breakfast buffet is actually good. Had lot of varieties. there is english and chinese breakfast in morning. Overall it is a really good place.

Great swimming pool and restaurant team. But that's it : from the check in to the check out, we didn't have the service we were expecting (we were just staying 2nights): At the check in (4pm) : they confirm to us we have a king-size bed - when we arrive in the room, it was twin beds. We ask by phone why we didn't have what we asked for, they answered that we had to wait until tomorrow because they didn't have any that day (they could have told us that directly at the check in...) We then told them that there were stains and holes all over the sheets, it seemed not to affect them. We then went to the reception to told them one last time that it was not what we were expecting, and they miraculously found a room with kingsize bed, We only had to wait for an hour to have the room ready... Actually, it's important to know that the hotel was half empty. So it was strange that they had no more king-size bed rooms... When we finally get to the room, we found our king-size bed (yey!) but still, the sheets were full of stains and holes, and worse, it smelt unsanely humidity. I'm talking about the room, but more specifically, I'm talking about the sheets ! When we check out, we had to wait 10 minutes as they wanted to control our room and see if everything was in order. We were already late, our driver was waiting. They didn't care. We just had to wait. I really advice you to choose another hotel.

Highly recommend, the service was just second to none and rooms so clean, beautiful surroundings and the pool, loved the breakfasts, just 5 stars from me! And what is more, complete wifi coverage within the whole hotel area, which was great when u resting by the pool or in the garden and can keep in touch with ur loved ones at the same time ! Thank you for my experience!

Friendly people willing to offer help all the time with a smile

This is a big resort very close to Legian Street. It is about 300m from Sky Garden a big party club on Legian street. the property looks a little old from outside but the rooms have been renovated and are quite comfortable and contemporary. Has a swimming pool to chill, a bar and a restaurant.
With Legian Street being close by food and bar isn't a big problem. For affordable holiday this is a decent resort to stay in.

Beautiful resort. We really enjoyed our time here in Bali. The rooms were nice, the staff were friendly and the food was good. Truly felt like paradise here, a vacation spot to remember.

Stay at hotel was fine. The transportation provider inside the hotel charges higher price than the local taxi you get outside the hotel and is too persistent to the point it annoyed us.
Also be wary of the M Mart located just outside the hotel. They charge higher prices to foreigners than the actual price and don't give the bill/receipt. Please check the prices clearly before you pay.

We stayed here in October 2019 for 3 days. The room was spacious and very clean. It was a bit of a walk to the main lobby which is fine because it felt very safe walking at night. The breakfast had a large selection every morning including juices, fresh fruits, pastries and satueed dishes. I really liked the congee offered and had it every morning. The prices massages was also quite reasonable when compared to offsite The location is perfect and about a 10 minute walk to the beach and the mall.

I really enjoyed my stay here at the white rose hotel I loved the vibe the staff the message it was wonderful experience for me . the food was very nice I give it five stars must visit good way to meet locals.

Room was decent but we wanted help booking a trip to Gili Trawangan and was sold tickets for the worst company ever and were lead to believe that we made a good deal. I guess they got a good commission of it in the reception. Won't visit again.

This place is amazing !!!! I have been here 3 Days so far and the staff are so helpful and genuinely friendly all round ... THE BREAKFAST has bee amazing and changed every morning .. HIGHLY recommend this place as they have given me the best hotel stay in my life and I have stayed in many hotels. Thank you White Rose

The place is nice but needs to improve the bathroom amenities like toilet bidet, shower, room sandal. But overall things are fine here. The breakfast are delicious. Western style.

Lovely stuff (as always in Bali.) Very big and beautiful room we stayed in. Breakfast was a bit of a let down- had a limited range of breadfruit juice. Hotel was somethings loud at night, being close to the main road. But good location for transport!

Amazing place, amazing service, superb location in the center of everything yet its still calm. Love!

Not enough sun beds at pool from 9 am we could not get a sun bed until late afternoon and we stayed a week

Good place to stay... Market is nearby and hotel rents a bike on rent for 100,000 IDR equivalent to Indian Rupees 500...

Nice hospitality with magnificent ambience inside the hotel. The way to reach the hotel is too narrow, only one four wheeler can go once. Although it's situated on very crowded place, legian street.
Hotel staff is very good and helpful.

Rooms near the entrance to the hotel are no good as you can hear Sky Garden night club all night then scooters parked along the fence near there all starting up at 6am, we moved to a room further in towards the pool and its great so no noise. Breakfasts are great and grounds and pool are good, except could do with more lounges at the pool as people get up early to claim them with their towels. Good value for money but massages at the hotel are expensive.

Overall was a decent experience but the fact the customers are misguided with pool view room description. Some of the pool view rooms are such that not even a small portion of the pool is visible. Food was nice though limited options.

The room wasn t very clean and restaurant didn't have nice food but staff was lovely and breakfast was ok.

Situated in the heart if Kuta close to many stores, restaurants and night clubs. Lovely pool area and good breakfast. 20 minute walk to the beach.

My Husband and I just love this Hotel and there amazing Staff ,we stay for 14 days this time ,
As regular guests, we will be back again .We feel so welcome here

Well situated hotel and resort in the heart of Kuta. Vibrant nightlife , plenty shopping spots from malls to sidewalk stalls. Centrally situated and very tourist orientated.

It's in the middle of kuta market, all shops easily accessible, awesome free breakfast, cool pool, affordable rooms

Unclean breakfast had limited selection. There's more but mostly very unclean.

We came here for a relaxing vacation. It has provided exactly that to us without even having to leave the resort. The pool is beautiful and there's always an option for somewhere to lay around it. The spa is amazing!! And the breakfast buffet has many good options. The food at the restaurant is very good but a little bit pricey compared to other places. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. It has beautiful green spaces and amazing views. All of the staff are so nice and polite! Overall, an awesome trip!

Lovely place. Staffs are so welcoming by nature. Peaceful and Excellent atmosphere. Definitely I will recommend my friends to stay here as this is very near to beach, Mall & Theater and shopping street with lots of bars and SPA's. Rooms are so neat & Swimming pool is an highlight here.

Nice quiet area, behind busy street. Nice apartment size. All you really need for decent price

Good sound hotel, C grade. Breakfast dalstatodos delicious and different. The rooms are average. The price is unjustified overpriced.

Ga nyangka in the middle of Legian there is still a hotel with a wide location. The hotel is old but quite clean, only the food is less varied for 4-star hotels compared to other 4-star standards ...

As a solo female traveler
I found this property to be great. I used their airport pickup service and the gentleman was prompt and easy to find considering I arrived after midnight. The breakfast was really good, basic but fresh and always served with a smile. The location was awesome, close to many things like great restaurants and spas. I always felt safe. I also met Made at the hotel, he became my driver for my entire trip. The room and pool area were very nice for the price of the hotel. I would definitely recommend.

Great stay for a couple of nights! Wish the hotel had more vegan options available. Excellent check in and great staff. Would recommend :)

Although the hotel is showing it's age it is still a nice, quiet place to stay. Very central and the staff are lovely. Your reception staff need a bit more training. They did not seem to have a grasp on my booking or the computer. I had to ask 3 times where my pre booked driver to air port was. They seemed to think it was my problem although I had made the online booking through the hotel. I would still recommend the White Rose hotel to my friends and had a nice holiday there. Lovely massages as well.

The villa is very comfortable and romantic, only the place is wrong on the google map, it should be in the Bali bomb monument turn left. There is a lonely road where the Sanjaya hotel is straight, the end is white rose. The first experience here strayed carrying luggage. Udh that's not the driver because the map is wrong.

DO NOT COME HERE!! Worst hotel experience of my life. First they made me wait over an hour to checkin to my room at 5pm! So I tried their restaurant worst dry beef randang ever for 158,000! Then the air conditioner in my room didn't work. I waited for over an hour in sweltering heat while they tried to fix. Finally I went it reception to request a new room. They said go back to my room and wait. I waited for 20 mins nobody came so I went back to reception. They gave me a new room with two single beds which I didn't want. Next to this room was blasting music from the pool area outside. I needed to sleep. I reiqated a refund but they said no. So I just left and cut my losses. Plus the rooms are old and stink. 2 star hotel.

No maintenance done and cleanliness of room sliding

Tops, staff are lovely. Great place for the family to relax and have fun. The location is centrally located in the heart of Legian just a stone's throw from the memorial. Highly recommended.

The atmosphere is calm and the outside setting is good

OMG, the pool villa is unreal!

We liked it because:
- The pool villa is one of the nicest rooms we ve ever stayed in!
- The location literally couldn t be any better
- Super Instagram worthy
- Had great amenities for the price!

We recommend Sun Island White Rose for travelers who:
- Want to be in the HEART of Kuta, but still want their own tranquil space
- Need all the amenities, but still need to stick within budget
- Like bars, restaurants, and all the nightly hotspots
- Don t mind a little bit of noise since the location is so good

The Room:
You need to stay in the Pool Villa. It s JAW DROPPING! Everything about it is so luxurious and a fraction of what you would pay in any other city in the world.
Through a beautiful wooden door we had our own private oasis with tons of greenery, a private pool, extra wide cushioned lounge chairs, and private patio. Inside the first room was a super plush king bed with floor to ceiling mosquito net (which was actually super romantic looking!) chaise lounge, desk, and TV with DVD player (with a million DVD stores in the area that sell movies for under $1!)
The next area was the bathroom: 2 full length mirrors, a massive mirror over double sinks, miles of counter space, 2 luggage racks, and tons of storage. All tiled and very executive feel.
Through 2 frosted doors and had 2 closets, safe, fridge, coffee/tea, and the most BEAUTIFUL TUB I have ever seen! The back of the bathroom was all glass to the outside, making it feel like an outdoor bathroom. The toilet and shower were both located just outside the glass, making them truly outdoor! Showering with the Bali breeze (and sometimes rain) was a wonderful experience!
We stay in so many luxury accommodations but this room really made an impression on me! It s just SO grand!

Check In:
Welcomed with a cool towel, fresh detox type juice, and had our bags taken to our villa for us.

Food:
The breakfast buffet was enormous and had everything you could ever want for breakfast! Literally! There was a egg station, waffles, pancakes, cereal, fruit, breads, mie goreng, normal breakfast foods and even some unconventional (but delicious) things like: chicken wings, pesto pasta, veggies, etc. First time I had found peanut butter in Bali as well!

Pool:
Our private pool was small, but perfect! It was bigger than a plunge pool and really helped us beat the heat mid day.
The main pool is big and just a few steps from the villas, with plenty of lounge chairs.

Spa:
Great spa! We didn t bother going off the property because we knew how good the spa was based on our stay at another Sun Island property (Legian). The couples treatment room was very luxurious with ginger tea served afterwards. They always have a spa promotion posted, which are fantastic deals, so keep an eye out for the posters.

Gym:
Such a nice touch! Many hotels in Bali are missing gyms, so it was great to have access to a very well equipped on during our stay! It had everything from treadmills, elliptical, bikes, yoga mats, free weights, weight machines, etc

Location:
Right in the heart of everything. You couldn t be any closer to the action without living inside a club. Through a small driveway, the entire city will instantly appear. In that alley there is also a mini-mart for getting drinks and snacks. The beginning of the alley is right at the Bali Bombing Memorial, a huge Guardian drugs, Vi Ai Pi, Sky Garden, and every other bar/club/restaurant you could imagine. (Food tip: Vi Ai Pi has a lunch special for 100k for a large pizza that feeds 2 people, coke, and glass of wine! YA!) Beach is also about a 10-15 minute walk in the heat, but super fun as you go through low priced markets and shops.

Great location but be aware that you might hear some noise from the nightlife at times.

Very sad place directly next to Kuta ground zero. What a waste of beautiful young lives.

By the way, the resort is cheap. And you get what you pay for.

Warning: don't use the hotel drivers for transportation or recommendation for tourism, they are on the take from some horrible restaurants and scuba operations, then they charge 6 to 10 times the cost of a metered taxi to get you there.

Excellent bar and pool area to relax all day.
One of the best buffet breakfast I've had in Bali. Tip - choose a room facing the pool area, or ground level as some rooms above can be a little noisey due to the sky garden being a stone throw away.

Nice rooms, great location and friendly staff. I just have one tiny little problem. One morning I was hungover and throwing up in the toilet and I accidentally turned the bum hole cleaner on and it got me in the face. I also didn t know how to turn around it off so it covered the bathroom in toilet water :/ I think they should be removed.

Very nice place in middle of kuta very central, about 400m from the beach. Great pool and service. Clean rooms with free bottles of water. Grounds are safe.

Room was superb, neat and clean, spacious. Play area for kids was very nice. Very clean and beautiful swimming pool. Breakfast was also very good.

Was having a great night. Clean room, modern toilet, and amazingly quiet even it was near from the night clubs. The only downside's the utensil. I was having a problem finding plate, spoon & fork.

Nice Ambience, good food, well maintained, rooms a bit small, even Deluxe one

Breakfast good. Not enough lounges around the pool and a lot of them in disrepair. Large grounds. Awkward location for vehicular access due to one way streets - motor cycles and scooters excepted. Close to lots of eating, entertainment, shopping and spa venues, OK for the price.

Good places with big garden,, very green... for family it nice

I did enjoy my stay until the day I left, housekeeping stole my charger/converter. Wasn't impressed he blamed my friend and lied to our faces.

Staff is nice, rooms are nice and clean but network is so slow that its faster to share my data. Takes almost minute to reload their own website homepage. Even when there is good connection.

Perfect place for honeymoon couples, family and solo travelers alike. Variety of rooms, swimming pool, spa, restaurants, currency exchange. Location good, service good, food awesome! Staffs very friendly, helping and polite. Breakfast spread nice. Located close to Bali bombing memorial. Would love to visit again!
