When you don't know much about computers and IT like me, it is such a relief to find a great company who provides a reliable and honest service. I highly recommend Andromeda, Peter is so helpful and brilliant at providing the right solution for my business and explaining anything I don't understand.

First class & very prompt service. My Windows 7 OS became unstable on an 7 year old desk top & it was impossible for me to determine the cause. Peter arrived within a few hours of my call & after a few checks advised that I should consider upgrading to Windows 10. The scope of work & cost was agreed & he performed the work & the problem was solved in just over an hours home visit. I have never used this type of service so was not sure what to expect but I now have no reservations about recommending Andromeda Solutions for home PC soft ware diagnosis & repair.

Outstanding service, cannot speak highly enough. My home office system crashed on Monday night. Live chat to Peter at 10 pm and he was round the next day at 7.45 am. A problem that definitely led me to a exhausting frustration of no installer no cryptographic on windows xp so needed to upgrade and make the jump from xp to windows 10 in my view a impossible situation, but with Peter's assistance and know-how all done in a afternoon and with a very dated but much loved tower mesh gamer rig, Andromeda Solutions are the tech people to search when you tire of head scratching give Peter a ring to solve the problem.

Came out promptly on arranging a time, checked out computer system, explained what was wrong advised on what action was needed, he did the action required, after the action was taken my computer was up and running with plenty of help on how to use the system. Remote and/or email assistance has been offered which may come in handy in the future.

Had a major email crisis on a Saturday which I couldn't resolve so called Andromeda Services. Their communication and pricing was clear and upfront. We had agreed a time but they rang and asked if it would be OK to come earlier. There's a first. In terms of fixing my problem(s) they were excellent.It wasn't a straightforward fix but they persevered and resolved things one step at a time. I now have fully functioning email which synchronises with other devices. I've put them in my Favourites list in case I have any IT problems in the future.

Peter made a good case for changing our infrastructure and incorporating OS upgrades, Server upgrades, communication systems changes (that were long overdue).

The infrastructure upgrade had started, and stalled, a few years earlier because a application provider did not complete their planned upgrade.

We had enquired about different aspects of each upgrade with various prospective suppliers, many gave us unrealistic, partial solutions, with costings that were often unrealistic or carried costs hidden in the initial proposals.

Peter, gave us a range of proposals for the entire package we wanted, and some we did not realise we could use. His guidance stretched our expectations, he confidently promised he could deliver; given the experience we had from other prospective suppliers, I was sceptical of his assurances. Yes, we can do that , No Problem , was a common phrase he used.

Peter and his team have delivered. The work carried out has been extensive and wide ranging. It has not been without a little disruption, but this was at an absolute minimum, and fixes were promptly completed, keeping us working without any disruption to our customers. All work has been carried out carefully and where required, out of business hours.

Legacy and new hardware and software has thrown many challenges in the way, but nothing has wrong footed the implementation, the can do attitude is genuine, rare (in our experience) and valued.

Work is continuing as we have added to our requirements as our confidence has grown. Peter and his team are now counted as partners rather than just suppliers.

I was having difficulty installing a replacement cpu water cooler and was concerned I'd be without a pc for a while having removed the old faulty cooler. I contacted Andromeda Solutions on Saturday evening and by lunch-time on Sunday I had a fully installed cooler and my pc was up and running - much to my relief. When I was having difficulties with my computer I looked on the internet for a business that offered to service my machine in my home. Andromeda Solutions was not my first choice. I looked for someone based close to my home. After several attempts to call such businesses, finding (at best) automatic replies saying leave a message and I ll get back to you, I decided to call Andromeda. I was pleased to find someone able to answer the phone in person and tell me that an engineer would visit my home within a few hours. Andromeda s engineer called early in the afternoon. In a friendly and courteous manner, and displaying obvious evidence of skill, knowledge and years of experience, he was able to rectify my problems with no difficulties. Moreover, in addition to fixing the problems I asked him to, he was able to offer a great deal of useful advice. I can unreservedly recommend Andromeda to anyone with computer problems.
