The best chilli mussels I've had! And the saffron cream pasta was delicious!

Good atmosphere, I had dinner last Sunday compliments for octopus marinated and sardines as entree , pizza margarita was good, and my hubby loved caesar salad dressing amazing. Beautiful and modern restaurant. pasta also good just bit salty. I ll come back soon.. thanks guys for my family dinner.

Welcome was good but than everything is downhill once you are seated staff service is poor... they act as if they are Busy but customer service is poor ... food was average except margarita... definitely won t recommend...

Friendly staff service, nice interior and super food.

Friendly easygoing atmosphere with generous servings. Gets an extra star for no Amex surcharge.

Went here for an early dinner during the week. The staff ignored us at first to seat us. Once seated we were handed menus and left for 20mins. Not offered a drink or anything. Ended up walking out, staff still didn t come to see if there was a problem.
Management need to have a look at front of house staff.

Best pasta I've had hands down in my life. Made fresh and Al Dente. Personal favourite was the Tagliatelle Portarosa. The wife had Bolognese which she loved too. Pizza is top notch. Always had service with a smile and from super attentive waiters/waitress.

Will be back for the pasta in the future.

Very yummy food. We went as a family of 4 plus a toddler. All of our adult meals were great. Chicken tenderloin for kids did end up being unhealthy nuggets unfortunatly. Only let down.

My friend was highly recommended this place.
However, Unfortunately We had brunch couple of hours before visit there so we ordered two dishes for share. The restaurant was quiet and not many customers. Obviously, Taste was good and happy with that.
However, one of staff was really rude. They had spoken their own language each other s and even they talk about us. Fortunately, one of our party member is can understood Italian language. My friend says about what the wait person says... "That table is so annoying. They had ordered only two dishes and even they had share food. blah blah...." Also, he heard about some of bad words as well.
Obviously, Yes! We lost our appetite and leave the restaurant.
Yes, he might be think about us for "low valuable customer". However, He must understand what he has right attitude to customer and makes good restaurant impression. Definitely, he will lose potential diversity customers and my friend or network groups.
Even I really wonder about they care about this or not.

Their wood oven baked pizza was great, we picked extra ingredients,was stingy with the portions compared to what's cash charged, taste great, chairs uncomfortable plastic for what it is ,wine was good , coffee perfect ,yes perfect ,but too much chocolate on top for my cappuccino.
Over all nice friendly staff & owners worth the experience...****

The food was fresh and delectable. The people were friendly and genial, especially the managers because they helped me retrieve a forgotten item. The waitresses sometimes disremembered orders, which was careless of them. The pasta isn't that good though

Excellent food and service on a busy night. His pasta special with prawns, tomato, cucumber to his Mum's recipe was excellent.

Service was quick and efficient, we were found a table even though we had not booked. There is a very good selection of dishes and the prices are very reasonable. Both our meals came with very generous portions and the quality of the food was brilliant.

We came here for dinner on a busy night, we enjoyed the chilli mussels and it's fantastic that it came with a side of bread. Unfortunately we were charged for 1kg rather than the 500g serving we received and didn't pick up the error at the time. Also I asked for new butter as the individual serves appeared to have been transported or stored at a high temperature and there was an issue with the consistency. I eventually received the replacement butter but it was exactly the same, which is unfortunate as the bread was lovely.

Ordered via uber eats. I think it was expensive for fairly average pasta. There was no Parmesan on either of our pastas.
The tiramisu I ordered for $12 was so small I couldn't actually believe it, on top of the fact it was packed on top of the hot pasta dishes it arrived melted and gross.
Won't order from here again, woeful.

Really good pizza but unfortunately we had an incredibly unfriendly waiter. For example he just walked away during ordering (we were not finished) and again as we wanted to pay our compliments for the food. Incredible! Sorry guys, but good food is not enough to come back.

Delicious and generous portions in the heart of Freo. Love the pasta fresca, it is definitely a must - you can definitely taste that it is fresh and authentic, miles better than Jamie's. The wood fired pizza is always so yummy and the creamy chicken with prawns was to die for - super accommodating when we said we didn't want mash and veg and changed it over for us. The service is really friendly and everything came out in a timely manner. Will be back!

By far my favorite place in Freo for dinner. Great extensive menu selection, great staff, great sized food portions always cooked very well and consistently.

So i have not been out for lunch in Fremantle for a long time because of work commitments. So I dropped into Portorosa on Monday, same old quality authentic italian food, same old great service, same old reasonable price. Now I know why I dont go anywhere else In Fremantle. Try them for yourself.

I picked this restaurant looking at google reviews. 4.4 starts?! Come on! Really! The waitress was confused even with getting us from the door to the table and giving us menus. Someone else took our order. We ordered grilled octopus, spaghetti marinara, 2 pizzas and garlic bread. The only positive was that food came out quickly, but looking back they should have taken more time with it. Marinara was too salty and the portion size was entree size at best. Pizza's were average at best, bland base and tin as paper. Topping was just ok, hence very average overall. Octopus - this is the worst dish I had in restaurants for a long long time - it had no taste at all, ends of the tentacles were burned, potatoes were cooked earlier, and not to order, barely warm and equally tasteless. I put some Parmesan cheese on it but the cheese was floury and not the good quality. Again, the portion size was for an entree, not main. Even coke was watered down and a bit flat. When we finished, they took the plates and did not offer dessert menu, more drink, coffee, anything. We got up, paid and left. Got home still hungry and not happy at all.

The seadood platter (mister marre)is to die for. Do yourselves a favour and get down there.

Amazing service. Lots of seats indoors and outdoors. The food was so delicious. Very authentic woodfire pizza. The spaghetti Bolognese had lovely aroma and flavour. Price range is appropriate. Lovely place for a romantic dinner or chill night out.

We went to Portorosa by chance on Tuesday and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We each had a generous serve which was hot fresh and delicious.

Stumbled upon this restaurant while wandering in Fremantle last week. Tasty and authentic Italian pasta. Friendly staff and great service. Double thumbs up!!

I had a most embarrassing experience dinning at this restaurant with my wife. Being a learner of the Italian language, I asked a waitress for a menu in Italian. She virtually shouted at me in front of other diners " Don't you even try !! I am not an Italian and I do not speak Italian" in the most rude manner. I nearly walked out but not to embarrass my wife, I stayed and did not enjoy the food at all.

Our regular spot never cease to dissapoint. Try the sctch fillet , fantastic.

Do not be fooled by google review like me. Food is salty and salty and salty. Bread was cold, coke was watered.

Had a table booked at fremantle arrived early and they made us feel welcome while we waited for the rest of our family. Excellent service, great value. Nothing was too much trouble. Great atomosphere, excellent food and superb service thank you fir a very memorable night.

Public holiday for lunch. Great service and food was great. Often very busy at night.

Good & Delicious food, we passed today to have lunch, Through our friends we have heard about this place and its Chef, we have taken red emperor and grilled calamari, these were delicious, perfect cooking and exquisite taste, compliments to chef Vittorio. 5 Deserved stars. We'll back again

Walked in and was given a seat without a booking, we ve had a lot of woodfired pizza around the city, this was second to none. Generous size, toppings and the base was amazing. Really do recommend sitting in to have it fresh!

Pretty good meal it has down sized moving a few doors down, pity they have a high staff turnover the old staff are who made the restaurant one of my favorites we used to book regularly ;)

Amazing. From booking, unbooking, rebooking, to arriving and being greeted was amazing. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone to cancel the booking due to my husband not being well, and then to ringing back and speaking to the same gentleman to rebook the same time, day etc, was fantastic. As soon as we arrived, gave our booking name, my husband was asked if he was feeling better. The service, the food, the atmosphere was unreal. The portions were generous, and you would certainly not go hungry. We will definitely be back and will make this a regular eatery for us.

The carbonara pizza is perfect! So delicious staff are so friendly and helpful.

It was nice. Big pizza for kids, wish their antipasti platter was a bit bigger or had a botmore variety but food and service were wonderful. No baby changing facilities though so had to change my daughter on toilet floor
