Wow. Amazing, phenomenal... (Google several more synonyms and fill them in!!).

I'm *SO* happy I took the plunge and came. It was a once in a lifetime experience. Not only the facilities and service are top-notch but from the research I made, the location is unbeatable as well...

I drove a car and spent one night only, for time and budget reasons (I was by myself since in Abu Dhabi for business). In the Summer they deeply discount the rates (less than 50%); probably yes, weather will be better in the Winter; but there will be crowds... I was told it was only 51 of us guests on a Sat night (July 21-22). Wow. I was also the only guest on that sunrise Camel ride. Incredible. Not only I had the whole resort, but also those incredible dunes... the whole Rub al Khali for myself LOL. Two camels, two great guides. and me --- how better can it get?

Not sure how lucky I got with the weather. Daytime went up to 48C, but even before sunset it got very bearable (I went to the top of the large dune accross from the resort, had a LOT of fun)
At 4:30am it was 27C. I went for a camel ride at 5am, and stayed after playing in the dunes with perfect temps, until 9:30am when it started getting too hot.

So in the Summer, weather and visibility may be not as great, but totally acceptable as you save a lot of cash and get a truly more intimate experience.

Last not least, the facilities are luxurious and no details left out. Breakfast (included) is out of this world, variety and quality. Unbelievable. Amazing how they can keep that level of service in this corner of the world, so you think twice is it really that expensive?

Only thing, get ready for EXTREMELY expensive food and drinks. Make use of that buffet breakfast! ;-)

I also want to mention Zain, the guide I got on the Camel ride. So professional, even the pics he took with my cellphone were super good.

If you really want to have a desert experience once in your life, just DO IT, here. I doubt anything can top Qasr al Sarab.

Fantastic desert hotel 1001 nights in the beautiful Liwa oasis. Away from modern Dubai, top-class hotel performance and service is offered here. From the first moment until my departure I felt very comfortable like a desert castle with a balcony overlooking red to golden yellow sand. Very warm dry climate well suited for the relief of bone problems.
Conclusion: a dream!

Amazing place. Hard to describe it or do it justice with pictures. It's unique and activities are aplenty for a 3-4 day stay. But admittedly not cheap. Book thru Mr Mrs smith for upgrade chance...

One of the best experiences ever, the villas are highly recommended. If yiu have yiur family, you will enjoy it very well. The place is quite and definitely you will enjoy the sunset. The staff are extremely helpful and flexible. Weekends are busy, for that reason i recommend to go during the weekdays. It's a long drive to reach to the location, but it's really worth it, and enjoyable.

Amazing, out of this world destination which will take you into deep Arabian dreams from which you'll never want to wake up... The most prestigious hotel offering only the best services to its customers, with few limits. From desert riding on fat bike, camels, jeeps or even flying over in chopper, to walks in sunrises over dunes, sand boarding, sunset dinners with individual waiters, to mouth watering food prepared by best chefs, your own oasis castle rooms with buggy transfers and service available 24/7. Hotel is one of the few hotels that has a striking location, as this hotel is located between the golden dunes and away from the hustle and bustle of the city and has many relaxation programs and has several restaurants
The restaurant has meeting and banquet rooms, swimming pools, everything the resident wishes, and more
It is about two and a half hours from Abu Dhabi International Airport

My wife and I have visited Qasr Al Sarab twice on September, everyone around us, friends and family were surprised and asking why? we keep answering " once you visit Qasr Al Sarab you will keep coming, there is a charm and peace like no other place". Last stay was on Friday 25th, Sep and this time we have tried the Royal Pavilion Villas. Once we arrived to the villa the swimming pool was not 100% clean so we reported, and they responded back by replacing it with another villa in less than 30 mins. What a tremendous customer service. Warm thanks and appreciation to (Abbas Al Saqarat, Manu, Kishor and Bahiro) who make us feel like we have another home in the Empty Quarter :)

My favorite desert resort. This is truly an oasis in the middle of nowhere right at the heart of the desert. You will feel like royalty. The General Manager and his entire team are top notch hospitality professionals. We stayed here on our Helicopter trip around the world. The team treated us like family. Will never forget what they did to go way and beyond to please us. Oh and the pool is super clean, refreshing and gigantic. Don t miss the sunrise on the dunes, the fat bike rides and the camel adventures. One top detail is the breakfast variety and superb quality.

stayed here twice and will be back. It's a different kind of luxury - isolated from the world whilst providing you will all you need. For when you need to get away from it all and just enjoy the silence, catch up on much-needed rest and just recharge your batteries away from it all. The fact that they've build it where it is speaks volumes about the ambition behind it. We were there a couple of times as a couple, now we go back as a family!

if you want peace and tranquility and to get away fro it all, this is definitely the place to go.
set in the dunes of the empty quarter, this imposing building suddenly appears after a 10 minute drive off of the road and into the desert.
the staff are attentive and always willing to go out of their way to help, the rooms are stunning and the pool is a welcome escape from the heat.
its a definite bucket list location

The hotel upgraded my villa to one of the Royal pavilion villas. The villas are located a little further away from the rest of the resort but have amazing views and you have your own private pool. The resort is like a desert oasis and great care is taken to ensure the gardens and facilities are kept immaculate. The pool was newly renovated and is absolutely beautiful. They have various activities you could partake in and the staff is all amazing. Taj (from the activities department) was particularly nice and made my desert night walk very memorable.

When I was a child I imagined a desert would look exactly like this!! Massive rolling sand dunes, solitude and absolute beauty! Designed to look like a desert fort / castle yet with 5* facilities and fantastic staff. Well worth the long drive from Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

No sign board of hotel for direction, you just have to follow Google maps which will take you to a security gate which is always closed,
There's a security inside the cabin but you can't know that i should stop at the gate or not because at the gate even no sign for qasar al sarab,
I got lost in the desert,
If someone is going 1st time so should be very careful.

Very quiet & peaceful place to relax. The views are stunning and the best time to visit is towards the end of the year when its not too hot. Breakfast buffet was pretty big with both indoor & outdoor seating. Wide variety of options, theres not much to do outside the resort so you can spend time by the hotel pool. Staff were friendly too and they had quick buggy service everytime you need to visit the lobby or restaurants.

Unparalleled luxury in the middle of mountainous desert. It's an experience not like any other places I've been. The price can be considered overly inflated for the same reason. This place sells experience hence the price however i had one issue with this place.
I was not informed or given a choice about the toilet with/ without bidet..!
When you pay this much for your room, you should at least given a choice of type of room and amenities available...!
Would have rated 5 star otherwise...

It's a dream within a dream within a dream. This little Oasis has it all but it's definitely for people with deep pockets it's pricey but worth it if you have something big to celebrate! If you meet Abbas who works there he's a really great guy who will help you with anything you might need. Be sure to get a board and go down the dunes.

Absolutely stunning hotel set among breathtaking scenery. Staff go out of their way to make your stay a perfect holiday. Food is devine, rooms are beautifully and tastefully furnished and gardens are immaculate. Prices are very reasonable for a super luxury 5star. Could not find even one fault! it's located 2 hours drive from Abu dhabi and we had our 2 year old with us so it was very reassuring to know that a doctor is on site 24 hours a day as well as a helicopter and pilot to fly you to hospital in case of emergency. 10/10, needless to say, we can't wait to return.

Amazing Resort, if you need to get a way from the city for only a few days this is the perfect spot, this is a very busy weekend in UAE but staff is still super friendly, always going the extra mile, nothing too much trouble, food is amazing, thank you Qasr I will be back for sure

A great escape from the ASAB oil fields. Shisha and food are both exceptional, however the place is expensive. I would like it if they kept shisha coals ready as it takes a long time to get my shisha!

We take driving from AbuDhabi city for 3 hrs.
This is my first visit to Anantara Qasr Al Sarab hotel, first i would like to say thank you to all staff your work completely and
friendly.
Anais helpful for check in and tell about hotel and hotel activity.
I asked history Qasr Al Sarab Mavis she explaining and taking me to villa show a wonderful room.
I had ordered food from room service Spaghetti prawn garlic was yummy and I found a simple menu but this very testy avocado toast on top chili sundries and fresh vegetables I recommend.
The view at sunset was just gorgeous.
I had dinner at Sand. Fire. Salt. Food was amazing I love Braised beef short ribs
chef explain how to cook beef by Sous Vide for 16 hrs. And served with sea salt from 3 different country Iceland, Netherland and Indonesia Bali, So for me I recommend from Bali. lobster soup was amazing too.
Great welcome a new day by sunrise
At 5.45 am staff picking up from villa to view point to see the sunrise i was standing with super view that can see 360 around hotel.
This is probably my favorite place in UAE everything was perfect The staff are aways please and helpful from check in to check out, The villa gorgeous, The restaurant food top quality and incredible This means a true 5 stars hotel

Nice hotel with nice pool. Still too expensive for what it is. By cons, restaurant more than mediocre or bad. I'm sorry I spent E 500 for three. Probably the worst restaurant I've been to in the emirates. Scandalous. Canned fruit juice. Foie gras more than bad. Shrimp still frozen. Burnt Tandori, black. DessertManyTrop sweet and bad. Service although nice. , Ineffective. Unpleasant reactions of one of the arrogant director To whom I spoke. Very bad experience I would have infinitely preferred a picnic with two boiled eggs. To flee
