It should definitely be considered to be among the must visit places on Earth because of the amazing location where it's built. It's just imossible to describe the beauty of this place. Hats off to whoever conceptualised this place.
It's a wonderful hotel. The best location to escape from the city noise and relax. I do recommend it very much but you must know that it's one of the most expensive hotels especially their food and leisure activities.

A very unique desert accommodation (^_^) a variety of activities are highly recommended! It s great to have a desert milky way at night. It is very worth driving over to stay and relax. If you travel to Abu Dhabi, you can stop by and drive for two and a half hours (^_^)a ...If you want any activity arrangements, it is very suitable (^_^)a Unfortunately, it is still hot at noon in October. But you can stay in the pool all day and there is a baby pool which is great!

Amazing and Surreal experience staying in the middle of a desert. It was an oasis away from all negativity going on in the world. Staff was great. Food was very good from morning to evening. You real royal as soon as you enter this beautiful oasis and it was a great way to start my wife and I honeymoon.

"Absolutely beautiful" is the only description necessary. While the resort itself is wonderful - the rooms, the restaurants, and the pool are all incredible - the real star here is the desert. The colors of the dunes offset against a clear, blue sky or a sunset are breathtaking. We were so taken with all the natural beauty that the wonderful resort and the amazing service provided by the staff just faded into the background. Go for a 4x4 ride through the desert, go on a camel ride, climb a dune and watch the sunset - as easy as it would be to just stay in this beautiful resort (and it would be VERY easy), get out and experience the beauty that surrounds it. Highly, HIGHLY recommended.
The top of the top. A mystical place in the middle of the rub al kali desert. It is a pleasure to enjoy the luxury and comfort of the wonderful accommodations. Surrounded by red sand and the wild nature of the desert. You can spend hours and hours simply contemplating the desert without the risk of getting bored. It is something different from any other experience so far. One is literally enraptured by the splendor that surrounds us. The service is superb the food is great ... You will never want to leave here!

Its a true Oasis with so many activities to do from dune drives on the super high dunes,the dunes in this part of the desert do not move so they are very high,you can also join the camel trekking or do the star gazing.The staff are awesome and the hotel is really beautiful.

Very strong price tag but you get what you pay for. The staff was absolutely top notch and the accommodations were first rate. If you are travelling a great distance to see this part of the world I highly recommend this kind of desert resort experience.

Wonderful location, absolutely friendly stuff, especially at the reception
This was our second stay in a pool villa at Qasr-al-Sarab, so needless to say that we had enjoyed our stay last year.
Problem is that the weaknesses have not improved. Overally, service is worse. An accumulation of small things that amounts to a lot. In a 5*+ resort, I would expect my loyalty customer file to show that we were here last year. No welcome back, the reception staff just works through the churn. Same at check-out, no enquiry about satisfaction, no acknowledgement of our second visit, just another customer passing by. Staff is courteous, but style is not up to par for the category.
Then there is the food. Yes it is expensive, just like in all other UAE resorts. Everything is flown in. Alcohol prices are ridiculous. Problem is quality and choice. Ghadeer, the mediterranean restaurant by the pool, has not improved. Menu appears essentially the same, quality is also the same: average. Okay for lunch although you quickly run out of ideas, not recommended for dinner. Our dishes were bland and simply not enjoyable to eat. Wine was awful.
The Falaj bedouin buffet is a must do experience. Essentially the same as last year, but this time with a nice french jazz quatuor. The wine served with the alcoholic option is just average, food of generally good quality, we enjoyed our evening. We also had dinner at Suhail, wonderful atmosphere, but there, one of our mains, the vegan polenta, was simply not good. Advertised as served on sauteed spinach, served with five raw leaves of baby spinach, completely bland. Even a drizzle of balsamic vinegar attempted by ourselves could not save that culinary trainwreck.
Your last option is the buffet, which we have never been at, and is closed at lunch. Unbelievable that in a nearly fully booked resort, there is all of one choice at lunch. After three days, you are running out of options, and these limited options turn into a nightmare when you pay that much for average quality.
QAS appears to be designed to rotate customers on two night turns, and this tarnishes an experience which could be amazing. Location remains fantastic, but customers paying so much expect more. I doubt we will return until these issues are addressed convincingly.

I spend a few days at Qasr Al Sarab to celebrate my birthday. The view from the pool villa was spectacular and everything else as well. The service, the vegetarian food choices, the hotel managers commitment -> perfect! Thank you, I'll be back.

I have hotel voucher for sale as half price if somebody interesting. Need drive far away from Abudhabi airport and hotel have smooth sand and Nice services here food near swimming pool is not too expensive when compare with rooftop Restaurant. We enjoy swimming in the desert. The hotel have great style and we cannot take activities due to it full so should reserve in advance. I think next time I can drive. But this time we hire get transfer to pick up us they have good service too.

Worst experience ever.
Booked two month ago for 3
Nights. Just 5 days before my trip got a simple
Email saying that they cancelled my booking which was fully paid, with no reasons. Sent them several email asking for the reason, and got no response. Called them, and the only thing they say is: we cant say anything about the reason of the cancelation. Such good surprise fron this non professional people who just ruined my vacation plan.
So people, if you book this hotel, just know that they can cancel your booking as they wish at any time.
Still , not answering my question: Why did u cancelled my reservarion

Great resort. Beautiful detail on decor. Most of the service was great. The only downside though is the ridiculously high prices - particularly wine - be prepared to be ripped off on that. Perhaps bring a picnic of food and wine with you, then your stay will be perfect.
We enjoyed the day despite several flaws in the service ...
We tried to book through the site to take advantage of their summer promo, the site had a problem so forced to book over the phone (we paid more than the website offer). Once we got to the hotel for check in we lost the benefits. Last day deactivated room access cards before check out time. We waited 15-20 minutes outside in the heat before someone came to open the door (member of the cleaning team that we called out). When checking out they passed the card 3 times to deduct our consumption, from the deposit paid the day before when checking in, it did not work on the pretext that our card was not good (whereas CB used the day before for the 500aed deposit) we have paid and must wait several days to recover the deposit paid at check in ...
Small problems which of course combined cause our opinion to drop. Only feedback received from members was "sorry".
Good buffet breakfast and top pool.
