We had an amazing stay here. Ajab was a great archery instructor and the gentleman that took us on the safari was exceptional.

Amazing hotel with good service and unique views. Very polite and nice staff. To say something to improve a blockout curtain will be a good idea. Breakfast is very good and hotel has all details that you can imagine. It is expensive but you receive more than you pay.

Todo perfecto!!!!!. They show me the real EUA. A real 5 star hotel in every aspect. This Hotel and the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi makes worth the trip.

Surreal desert palace .A place must visit. An ode to arabian nomads.Very attentive staff, not to mention magical interiors and supreme design.

Very charming 5-star hotel with excellent quality of service and friendly staff. Would loved to keep on coming back.

Perfect holiday stay- even for one night. The hotel in the middle of the desert is just breathtaking.

The Great :
1. Exceptional Spa. My wife and I tried the Desert Fusion Massage and we drifted into total bliss. All the spa rooms looks across the pink desert mountains. Pretty zen

2. Spacious rooms. We had picked the Anantara suite that comes with a living, kitchenette and bedroom.

3. Great and courteous staff. Always seeking ways to improve our comfort and experience. They really go an extra mile to make you happy. At checkin time- our room wasnt ready so they gave us complementary lunch AND late check out as compensation.!

The good
1. Kid friendly: from dedicated kids play areas to kids pool to house keeping staff helping us dish wash baby utensils - this place is very kid friendly.

2. Lots of activities possible : archery, fat biking etc.

3. Highly instagrammable property

4. Generous supply of bottled drinking water to keep you hydrated. Cant ignore the fact that bottled water is complementary in a desert.!

Can be worked on
1. No bidet in toilets. Uncommon for a UAE hotel (pet peeve)
2. I felt in-room dining options were practically frozen food served. Eg the Samosas felt like the ones you get in the supermarket from the frozen foods section.
3. The media hub doesn t have options to connect to a phone/tablet to watch media. It has old school VGA and 3 Pin RCA cables.
4. Saw some desert bugs creeping into the room every night.

I also see a lot of reviews complaining about the distance but whats good is despite being so deep into the desert the property is still very accessible by any type of car. I have been to boutique hotels which can only be accessed by a large/capable SUV. Qasr al Sarab trumps all other properties in this regard.!

Nice hotel, great service. The breakfast in the dunes while watching the sunrise is just awesome.

Absolutely a dream with a lot of love u details, but its price was well worth it

I booked 1 bedroom with a private pool. A perfect place for a romantic, private and luxurious getaway. We simply loved the place.
The room was very spacious, luxurious and very well equipped. Everything g you might need is there.
The bed was very comfy but the coushins were not as good as the mattress.
The service is outstanding! Just give the team a call and they'll bring it to your roo. With a beautiful smile.
The room was very private but the view wasn't that good as it was overlooking the roof of the rooms in the lower level. I've stayed in other hotels and the view was much better

Five stars in every respect. Impeccable service, delicious food and an outrageously beautiful property. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and sophisticated, and the surrounding geography is otherworldly.

Also, dune-bashing is an absolute must!!

Super beautiful, super poisonous, super strange, not found anywhere else with the same beauty like that, Super Resort between the vast Desert too nature play, extremely strange architecture, delicious food.

Very tasty food,even little bit expensive but it was worth it..

I've been to Qasr Al Sarab twice and both times have been amazing. They truly pay attention to all details. One of my favorite things is the ride from the main road into the hotel, it takes about 15 minutes, and these are magical 15 minutes. One can really get to understand the beauty of desert when driving towards the hotel.

The first time we stayed at Royal Pavilion Pool Villa. It was incredibly nice to have our private pool, we didn't leave the villa except for dinner. Last month (Nov '18) we stayed at the Deluxe Terrace Room and it was truly amazing as well. The sights were gorgeous and the sunrise was a beauty. We did the sunset camel riding and I must say it was a stunning experience. The location of the resort is superb and I cannot say enough about the service. I'd love to go back every single year. You truly feel relaxed while at Qasr Al Sarab. The steakhouse on the rooftop serves fantastic food and the views are beautiful.

We stayed Jan 22-26 2020. My husband and I came with friends, it was our first visit and our friends 3rd visit. This hotel is breathtaking, you can t explain the feeling you have walking and looking at the dunes. The hotel itself was the most beautiful hotel I ve ever stayed at (I lived in Hawaii for 7 years). The service was fantastic and everyone strived to ensure we had an amazing time. Special thank you to Ravi (the yoga instructor) for the inspiring sunrise yoga. Ravi the sunshine butler manager for going out of his way to get me tea from the spa because it was my favorite. The Spa was the best massage I ever had (Journey to Thailand). The sunrise camel ride with Ajab was my most favourite activity, he was knowledgeable and entertained us with his driving skills. Wow! Thank you for the great week.

Absolutely loved our stay. It is truly amazing place. There were variety of bars restaurants to select, if you want to experience an Arabian dream like stay this is the place to be. I usually go through points and categories on my reviews but for this one I can just say, it's AMAZING throughout!

I often share this is the best hospitality experience I ve witnessed to date.
I usually dislike hotel buffets, but the food quality is better than most fine dining.
The restaurant there is also fantastic.

I been Just for one night a very nice hotel In the midle of the desert with meny activities perfect sunset, nice pool area three different restaurants.

Qasr Al Sarab is a unique place in the world.where you experience the real desert of the Arabian peninsula and enjoy its peacefulness and tranquility in a luxurios setting.The scenery is breathtaking no matter what room you will have.The services are impecable, the personel is professional and they are more than willing to help with even the most chalenging requirements.Congratulations for this unique place created.

Coming from 3 days in Dubai and then 10 days in Abu Dhabi we chose this hotel to end our vacation in the UAE. We arrived after a 2 hour drive from Abu Dhabi at this hotel in a majestic setting we passed the loincloth check which is 2 km before the hotel and then arrived in this magical setting.

Useful info to know

When we arrived at the hotel we were given our room number 280 those which are rooms at the end of the hotel, the problem is that when traveling you have to call 0 each time to bring the buggy If you are looking to the lobby or the pool, be aware that in July the temperatures are often around 47 to 50 degrees. So we got in touch with a hotel manager, and the collaborator Rajae who speaks French and Arabic and English and who made us change our room in the numbers 423, so you are very close to the lobby and everything near the swimming pool so I advise you when making your reservations to choose the rooms in parts 400.

Bedroom

What about the rooms? You have magnificent rooms, bathtub, shower WC, large flat screen TV, air conditioning, subdued light, spacious bed, impeccable cleanliness and therefore great comfort.

Restore

What to say about the restaurant we do not agree with the comments that have been put on TripAdvisor of some people who mentioned that the restaurant was not correct we contradict this opinion by telling you that this is excellent we have to make a great chef of finesse in cooking perfection,
A quality. We tried the steak house restaurant and there we fell into the gastronomy a finesse rarely encountered and I can tell you that I do dozens of restaurants and there I find European cuisine of great finesse so thank you again O'Toole staff of kitchen and its chef who really have a great professionalism in their work.

Excursions

We chose an excursion because we are only there for 3 days and we took the excursion Les Dunes de LIWA, you go in 4 x 4 towards the dunes there in the middle of the dunes waiting for you camels and a local guide you go on a camel for 1 hour and then arrived at an extraordinary point you discover the sunset and these fantastic lights you descend the dunes on foot and take the 4 4 back to the hotel we really enjoyed this excursion thank you to the guide.

General

If you want to spend in a luxury hotel and have a magical time, I recommend this hotel, of course, specify to choose rooms much closer to the lobby in the 400s and you will have much more comfort in this hotel the staff is there. listen to its customers and pay attention in July and when it is very hot there are not many people in the hotel you will enjoy a calm and total rest A big thank you to Rajae for all the service they provide us.

The place is superb and as usual the staffs are A1. I think Anantara staffs are the most hospitable ones I ve encountered in all hotel staffs that I ve been.

The place is really an escape from the city life and best to be walking on the sand on a winter season.

I usually never write any reviews. Have stayed in a couple of Anantara Resorts in different regions and have always been extremely satisfied with their service and hospitality.
But I have to admit that Anantara Qasr al Sarab has won my heart and forced me to finally write my life's first hotel review!!!
Outstanding service & hospitality. I booked their Pool Villa to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday and I am so glad that I chose them to host it!! From the detailed decorations of the villa & the lunch table setup for his birthday to the yummy cake & complementary fruits and dates platters set-up in the room with a lovely birthday card...and not to forget the happy birthday balloons scattered in the room...it all made his day so special!! Everyone from the staff knew it was his birthday and they all wished him so warmly that it really touched our hearts!! Mr. Imran took us for the Desert Safari and he was a thorough gentleman who really made sure that I was alright and not feeling sick ( I have migraine issue so at times rides make me feel sick).
The birthday dinner at their Steakhouse was superb... the staff including the chef made sure that we enjoy the dinner to the fullest!! We woke up 10 mins before the breakfast time ends and the staff was kind enough to keep the buffet for us and give us enough time to have our breakfast and not haste!!
These little gestures and special treatments really makes one so happy and comfortable that you really feel proud and satisfied that you made the right decision!!
A big thank you to Ms.Theresa who had arranged everything for us and made sure that my husband enjoys his 40th birthday...which he really did!!!

Gorgeous and exotic palace hotel in the middle of sand dunes as far as the eye can see. Service is exceptional here every single staff member is extremely warm and friendly, and the activities guides are wonderful and knowledgeable. The grounds are expansive and beautiful. We had a villa with a private pool, dinner under the stars, rode camels, saw a falcon show, and played archery. A truly lovely resort. You are guaranteed to have an amazing stay here!!!

Could you please update the Google map route to Anantara Qasr Al Sarab resort as I got lot on the way to the hotel since the Google map was showing a wrong route which is leading to a closed entrance to the hotel. I was using the route E-90 from the Hameem which is the first U turn on the main road. There is a main road to the hotel which is around 1 KM ahead of this road. kindly update the same on Google map urgently to avoid more confusion to the travelers.

Great hotel and stunning views, staff are very friendly and food is not bad at all. Kids club is great for the young ones.
