Better now that pinnacle owns it! Bottleneck blues bar can be fun.

Great poker room from Thursday to Sunday nights. Holdem, Omaha, tournaments, good time. Plenty of cheap cash games too.

I thought this was a casino-hotel but it's a casino ... AND ... a hotel across the road! And the hotel is no great shakes, just a kind of afterthought... Really unimpressed; unless you're a gambling fiend, there's no reason to stay here... I thought it would be a fun location on the river with easy access to the casino & clubs but it is not; also, there is no guest laundry facility... I really wish we'd stayed somewhere else!!

Great casino to visit is what I posted 9 months ago about this casino. So here's my experience today. So this was my first time eating at the bay tower lounge. I have been coming to ameristar for years. I drive all the way from Jackson ms. So we sat down at the bar, for more than 5 mins. The whole time members of the staff passed us sitting there then finally instructed that we had to order then sit down and they bring your food. Okay that's fine so that's what we did. The lady at the register was very professional and patient. So we ordered and sat back down in the same place. So as we sat there again, the waitress went to my best friend and asked her did she need a drink. So she brought out here food and walked away again. So I waited again notice by now I've been in here for 30 minutes. She walked pass me 5 times. So I got up and reached for the number that's when she said you need something to drink too. I said yes but why you didn't ask me that after I mentioned it again. She states that I didn't say anything nor did I stop her. Maam you asked both of us this previously so how I didn't say anything so she asked again did i need something I asked did she have another waitress. She said no so I asked to speak to someone she storms off. Going to another lady saying she needs to speak to someone. So I asked could she put my comp back on my card. She said no only credit. I said ok well you can have this number back. And went back to tell the cooks the order was cancelled. She never asked what the problem was or asked how could she resolve the problem. Neither of them. By the way the were almost out of to go drinks, no ranch. Tickets not picked up. Standing on phone facetiming. Tables. I say all that to say customer service is a key to running any business. As well as attitudes working in the public.

Went to eat at the buffet, the selection of food is very limited. The staff could use more customer service training. Normally your drinks are on the talk before or shortly after you sit down. Had to go find a server to get drinks. They need never came to our table to clean or offer any service

I work at Ameristar. Please stop asking me about it.

I think I like it a bit more than water view the slots are a bit more generous and the service is faster I'll give it a 4.75 rating

Hotel is not attached to thy casino :/ I didn't know this was a thing until I stayed here. Great poker room though.

Rude, rude employees, encountered and saw employees rude to other visitors

This place needs to be investigated by the state gaming commission ASAP. My experience with Ameristar in general is that they don t pay out nearly as much as other casinos in their respective area.

My experience with Vicksburg Ameristar is far worse. Not only have I NEVER seen someone win a handpay here, I am lucky if I get a return of 10-15%....the state minimum is 80% yes EIGHTY.

*insert obligatory response from Ameristar here saying they assure me that their slots meet regulations*

Lol, yeah right. No I m not just reviewing cause I m mad that I lose money here. That s my choice (no pun intended LOL) but I m reviewing here to tell you to avoid this casino at all costs. If you must gamble, do what I do now and spend the extra money to travel to Lake Charles or Baton Rouge and go to the casinos there. You ll have much better luck there.

After speaking with the gaming commission, apparently there are already open investigations, but we ll see when something changes.

The slots machines continued to freeze as I was playing. This casino was very empty no one was there playing. I cannot and will not recommend this casino to anyone. When you get off the interstate take a left and try one of the other casinos.

No microwave, hair and cobwebs in the room corners, feet stuck to the bathroom floor, pool and exercise room closed, beds were falling apart. Never again!!!!!

Was very clean during this pandemic they provide you with masks that you have to wear before entering and check your temperature. They close early right now about 350 am instead of being 24 hours so they can clean everything

We came here for our anniversary wknd and stayed two nights. Everything was wondering from the staff, to being conveniently located near the casino and shopping. We will definitely be back

From the last time I visited the quality and variety of the food at the Heritage Buffet was terrible and very overpriced

Nice view in the all you can eat buffet. Yes ask for a window seat by the river. The bar and intertainment side is a fun place to go. Real cool bands. There are some very beautiful women work there too!!!!

There is a good variety of table games and far too many noisy slot machines. Great atmosphere. Good ventilation, no heavy clouds of cigarette smoke.
They double the minimal bet on every table at 9pm...just because it was New Year's eve.

Masks are mandated to wear at ALL times except smoking and/or drinking; it was very smoky in casino probably killed any virus lurking around....that being said we otherwise had a good time....

Great atmosphere. Buffet was excellent with wonderful customer service. Just wished it stayed open longer. Your casino is 24/7 why not serve YOUR customers around the clock???

It was a very nice Casino. I didn't play many slots because I was on the road for 6hrs and all I wanted was to climb into bed. The only thing I didn't like was they asked me to take off my both my hoods despite other men wearing baseball hats.

It used to be a good place but not so good now my free points always off card, no more cards being sent showing to us what happening we live out of town and the cards kept us informed.

Blows!! If you want to drink you better go to the bar or else you'll never be served.

Everytime I play at Ameristar I don't understand why I never win anything Iose a lot of money Ameristar is the only one on the strip I like to gamble at i didn't care when I was working so I guess I have to stop if I'm giving and not getting nothing back common sense is the only option. I want to come now I have to recoup from the last time.

I can t believe they still smoke in public places indoors!

Eh? Not great. Not awful. I couldn't get a cup of hot tea at this place. The cafe said they to use the self service. But there are no tea bags at any of the self service areas. You have to get tea from the cocktail waitress.
Rest rooms are clean and the staff are friendly and pleasant.

This rating is for the casino only. We stayed at the rv park instead of the hotel. Its a smaller casino with few gaming tables. We saved over $100 when we couldnt get a seat at the roullette table. The table was packed and they didnt wsnt to open the second. Im grateful they didnt allow us the opportunity to leave our money with them. Their loss!! :D

Very clean place with good service and safety precautions followed. Nice Jacuzzi in the room as well.

Had a great time with my husband visiting this casino. Not as big an establishment as we have been too, but it's because it's on a boat! Very cute. Everyone greets you with a smile. Food is excellent. I am a non smoker, so that is my main dislike with most casinos. Other than that, we had alot of fun!

Been awhile since i have been here. Always loved the options for entertainment. Good to be home. And i will be back to play here. Everyone was nice and friendly. So helpful too with the rewards card situation.

Food no good now u pay 12.99 for a bucket of crab legs and thats it

They have great food, entertainment & a variety of slots to play. They treat the customers with RESPECT. I recommend it to all of my family &FRIENDS. NU.1 CASINO IN V'BURG, MS.

The cocktail waitress took 3 hours to bring our beverages and I lost it all.

Just your run of the mill the casino. Nothing special nothing bad. Good plave to kill time and the buffet isn't bad just over priced.

Didn't gamble, but had a free night at the hotel. We had the jacuzzi suite. Housekeeping was something to be desired. We found a pack of cigars, we had to stay in the smoking room even though we are non smokers. Shower pressure was great and water was nice & hot. Again cleanliness was to be desired. Not very clean. When compared to Beau Rivage and their comps, Vicksburg isn't too good.

Ameristar literally shut down last night at the Vicksburg location !! Hundreds of us sat and waited for One lady to physically come around to fill out a form to be paid later ... The machines would not print out the tickets and the front desk line was over 1 mile long ..no exaggeration. .The staff is beyond rude , playing and joking amongst themselves vs taking care of customers ..Cocktail waitress are non existent . . I left after waiting 4 hours for my refund and went to Riverwalk and won a good amount of money.. (First time there) After years with Ameristar I'm done . They are low quality , incompetent staff, machines dont even work now.. ya .. I'm done !!! Ameristar doesn't care about their customers I haven't been able to log in for over a year , emailed several times ..nothing..I've spent 1000s NEVER get free rooms , nothing !! Garbage! ! Island view, Beau Rivage, million other places value their customers and reward them !!! They need a face lift and fast !!

The food was pretty good but the wait was terrible. Then I lost the rest of my money at the casino

The food is awesome not a big gambler and the rooms are nice
