A casino like any other in my opinion. Free drinks when you are playing and free participation in winning a jackpot with draws every hour. You get some discount at the buffet if you have a 'mychoice card' (which can be made on the spot for free!)
Not bad. First experience at a casino so not much to go on for comparison. I will say that if you go later in the evening past midnight, there doesn't seem to be many staff available. Too all the bars are closed so if you're looking for a drink you're out of luck there. Although I did see a cafe that was open so maybe you can at least get some grub or non alcoholic beverages. What staff I did encounter were polite and helpful in directing me so I'll give them that. Should really add a directory similar to that you'd find in a mall though.
Dealers and Floor Supervisor are lovely.. But the waitress are so disrespectful and it takes forever to get a drink. If you stop one of them and ask for a drink if you not tipping they tell you that they send your sever over and they never show up. It's sad. Other then the wait staff. I love this place
I like the layout of the casino. Especially the sports betting area. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because there is gnat issue that is annoying.

Some new slot machines, Bourbons Restaurant is very good as is Bellas cafe.
Room was nice buffet was just so not nearly as nice as some we have eaten at underwhelmed
My family and l went the Heritage Buffet for dinner. The food was cold and stale. I wasnt aware that the snow crablegs isn't included in the buffet price anymore. They are sold separately. I don't like that. Won't be coming back!

Love the gaming have won more at this casino than any gulf Coast casino.
We come about every 2 weeks or so, looking for comps in the mail, never see any from yall, we do get comped on the coast??

Didn't have to wait very long for the shuttle to or from the Casino. Not a big fan of slot machines in the casino.... Very tight. Only one restaurant available during week days. Food was good, if a little over-sauced.
It's smoked out. It's like everybody was given (5) cigarettes at the entrance and told to smoke them back to back. It's a casino
bad again. The hotel is good, the service is good ... but the machines do not let us win, but no joke ... very tight ... it has to allow us to win at least some time so that people ... can.continue.playing

It's probably fine for the area, but this is a bad casino. I don't know when it was built, but it just feels like 1995. Old slots, depressing crowd. This is the kind of place you go to cash your retirement check in the hopes that one last thrill will finally end your geriatric suffering. I suspect this is far from the worst place in town. On par with the WaterView place up the street. If you're jonesing for a gambling fix, save up your money and go to a less depressing town. Even Biloxi will do. Tunica is probably better. If you gotta gamble now and you're in Vicksburg, please accept my condolences, and maybe consider the Ameristar.
Never stayed at the motel. I go and listen to the bands.

Ameristar is by far the biggest casino in Vicksburg, but if your looking to get tipsy while playing you may want to consider Waterview or Riverwalk... It's so big the waitresses hardly have time to make it to you to get you a drink at Ameristar

****Up date******Ameristar kept me up dated on the money happy they found where it needed to go. Please read all found money in casino. Would like person that lost it to have it. Love the place. Love the buffet the food is very good an the motel was great although it's been many years since I stayed in motel. On Friday the first of Sept I was in the casino found a ticket in the floor I will say it was over 1,000.00 I turned it in I know someone was sick to have lost it. Maybe the one lost it will see this but after I turned it in I realized they didn't take my name nothing so if no one claimed it they kept money. Which is not right i would hope not I Been going there over 20 years an hope they did the right thing by finding the owner but if not they should of took my name I have posted this on several sites so hopefully someone will see if it was there money and if not rightfully the should return money to me but how could they when they never took my name I feel I made bad choice turning it in. I just want the right thing to be done it would disappoint me if they didn't do what was right.

Slots are very tight. Takes all the fun out of playing.

Good buffet and probably the best place to gamble in Vicksburg.
It Was great as usual. Didn't win any money but a not a surprise. You'll have a hard time believing that you can't call your order in at Bella's or sit down to order a meal. You'll have to stand and wait in the long line to order then you can sit DOWN and eat there or take home. Thank God the buffet was STILL open.

Good casino and decently kept. It is also easy to access and plenty of parking is available. I have only been to this location a few times and it was very different both times.
Went during the day and the dealers were great and exciting. I was placing bets for them and they were very grateful.
Went Monday night on 11 21 19 and that whole crew at the craps table could care less I was trying to make dealer bets. Many of my bets were missed by the stick and if it wasn't for the pit boss I would have been cheated out of money.
The Tuesday day crew really saved the review here. I visit Ameristars across the country regularly and generally have good experiences.
Great place but customers or gamblers are always sitting around hogging machines but not playing and as soon as you put money in a machine people stand behind you looking over your shoulders to see if you are winning or what you are betting/playing
Went with a friend. As with most casinos I've been to, no cocktail waitress to be found & that was me looking for one. Custodian steered me in the direction of self serve soda/coffee station instead. Not like I had a choice other than leaving casino & entering lounge area to purchase one at which point I wouldn't be able to play/wager. What would be the point?
My visits are ok. I was just wondering why i didn't receive fanplay for March and April? I come and play enough to get free food, gifts or something and maybe a good sometime, it can be better i know. Thank you!

The casino was nice. I got a players card and redeemed 50 dollars that I lost on slots and I played more slots. The waitress Michelle was really nice. The table games were really fun. I only stayed in the casino for 2 hours. The casino is located next ro the Mississippi River crossing the Louisiana state line in Vicksburg.
Like the new machine but never win when I do decide to go like the hegtiage buffet
