There was a mouse in my room at the hotel. Eeeeks!!!! The lady at the front desk acted as if it were no big deal. Granted my room was comped because of my patronage to this casino, but come on, really rodents, that is unacceptable. If I had paid for the room I wonder if I would have been treated differently? I'm sure I have spent 1000 times what that room cost. Mouse not good for the house.

Was contacted by management. Was apologetic and helpful. Told me his plan of action. I feel assured that the problem will be taken care of. The water is high every where around here and I'm sure they r just seaking refuge. I was not wanting anything for free or any compensation. I just wanted to make sure someone in management was aware of the situation. I always enjoy my stays at Ameristar and I love the gaming at the casino. Thanks for the quick response from the hotel management

Stopped in at Ameristar while passing through town and I had a great time! The casino was larger than I thought it would be and had a large variety of slots. The tables were packed. The slots in the high roller area were on fire!

Average conditions for a casino. Not too smoky on middle two decks. Bottom is smoke free. Friendly staff all around. Buffet was average - filled the void. Cocktail service was fairly frequent. Room was very nice -- had a jaccuzi tub and a spacious shower.

Had a wonderful experience won a little lost a wee bit!!!! Lol

A great place to stop while driving Interstate 20 . Safe haven during bad weather (parking structure) . Clean and safe environment

Played some it was fun. No hassle getting in. Quick temp check and away we went

Had the buffet Saturday night, paid extra for the crab legs, but was very disappointed. They were overcooked and very bland, no seasoning. Definitely not worth the price you pay.

After earning over 4k tier points at their property a few days ago in PA...they didnt want to honor my offers for comps. Terrible. Ill just go to other player rewards program properties

It's not at all whay it use to be. Food was not worth the money we paid. Will not be going again anytime soon.

The only place you can buy drinks but be denied drinks because you work nigh shift. Don't go here if you're looking for a few after work.

Seems to be the best all round of the casinos in jackson.

Always meet my family here for seafood. Food is always good not as good as it used to be but no complaints.

Do not book thru Hotwire, total scam, after a 9 hour drive, they wouldn't let me into a room I had prepaid for and I won't be getting a refund. I'm sure they'll come back and tell me it's all my fault somehow, that there was some fine print I didn't read somewhere. But overall customer service is very low for both parties. Extremely disappointed. And also exhausted and sleeping in my car.

A bit pricey but the food is great. I don't eat seafood bit they have other options.

Used to be fun. Not so much anymore. Staff is polite and hard working. Gaming experience sucks.

I feel like royal when I walk through the door but most times I leave feeling like a common peasant, one of the best environments but only 4 stars since I have such a hard time getting drinks

Food not as good as it use to be. Games are fun if you go in there with common sense. I enjoyed it overall though.

I give this place 3star because unlike waterview they take away my points. Sad. But still love the place. Hardly see any server around

Have been several times. Was disappointed in the buffet this trip! Wanted a steak, but the restaurant was closed for a private party!! Who knew?

Too much smokers smoke in casino but the buffet was fantastic. We ate TOO much! Lovely view of Mississippi, too.

No problem at all checking in or leaving nice rooms only minor problem I had was the view which consisted of a large air conditioning unit on the roof

I'm utterly well-versed in Game Theory... And thoroughly unimpressed with this casino.... Worldly percent of winning cannot be altered in Most states... The percent of the pot in the payout can be... This was probably the worst casino I've ever been to as payouts go...don't see much of a way to win and it was literally a money pit...

We went to play, LA very delicious food and good staff.

Won 100 on a slot. Not crazy about the food in the bar. We had a shrimp poboy. Drinks were very good. Nice casino. wished i could have spent more time there

Ok. Didn't pay out much and I could barely win a hand at the table game.

Ameristar is not only where I win most often, it also gives the best free play amounts and extras for its cardholders.

It was slow getting the room but all in all I loved it!!!!!

Buffet Restaurant was newly renovated, it was nice and clean. The food was good with numerous choices.

Nice room, but, rainy weather with separation of casino from hotel made for lousy time.

Rooms are always nice and clean. Hotel is always quiet and relaxing. I always enjoy my stays here.

Casino is great, restaurants quality has dropped so bad, I will never stop there again.

Bad experience and normally their pretty good. Had stayed Saturday to Monday and that Sunday had told the front desk I needed towels and linen change because I would be out all day. I return and the room was exactly like I left it. Went down to front desk and asked why didn t you guys change my linen or replace towels. Their reply was Covid 19. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they said there wasn t any on duty

Out of all the casinos in Vicksburg they have the worst food. I didn't gamble. I just went to eat dinner. I wasn't satisfied at all.

Not the best room bathroom was kinda dirty... Stood 4 days bought my own Clorox 2 for the shower
