I work with America's Home Place in Galveston as a lender partner, they are great to work with. It's easy to achieve a quick closing because they are organized and communicate well with myself and our clients. Lowell is always on top of deadlines and costs, and I thoroughly enjoy working with him on transactions.

Americas Home Place did an excellent job on my house. They are very flexible with changing the plans to our home...even at the last minute. The building process was fast and done with great workmanship. Joe Jones was a great person to work with and took the time to listen to me and my expectations. He was also very professional and knowledgeable. I would have him build me another house anytime and recommend him to my friends. The company is a VA approved builder and gave us a military discount. We love our new house and are very thankful they did the great job that they did.

We build our home with America's Home Place back in 2015. We just love it to this day. Even today after five years, I had some questions and Lowell Pinncock helped me tremendously. They are a great company to deal with.

It was a real pleasure working with Lowell Pinnock. Very accommodating of all the changes we asked for on the basic house floor plan. He was able to take our ideas and translate them into very specific design features. If we thought something wouldn't work, Lowell showed how it would. It was good to find out that making changes to their basic floor plan would not break the bank. It is obvious he has a lot of experience in house design. Highly recommended!

This is such a great group of people! The building is gorgeous and the set up is great!
The employees are compassionate and supportive of their community. They hosted a pet adoption event a couple weeks ago and I was so impressed with everyone s positive attitudes and willingness to help out the homeless pets of Alvin!

Poor service... I did an inquiry online trying to get average site preparation costs. A few minutes later, I get a call from someone saying "Hey, what's going on" with no sort of introduction. It took me a minute to even realize it was Lowell with AHP calling about my inquiry. He then asked me where I was looking to build. I told him Pasadena, and he immediately tried to end the call. He said "We don't build in Pasadena. Best of luck". No offer of helping find land in another area, no sort of apology for the change (they previously told me they would build in Pasadena), no referral to a builder who does build in Pasadena, etc. Just too eager to hang up the phone.

The next day I submitted another question online asking if they built in Fort Bend County. Lowell called a few minutes later. Apparently he didn't read the inquiry. He called and said "Did you submit another inquiry? We don't build in Pasadena". Instead of trying to find a way to be helpful, he immediately assumed that he couldn't help me. I was able to squeeze in my question anyway, so he referred me to the Katy office since they build in Fort Bend.

I'm giving 2 stars since my previous interactions with AHP were fine, and Christine is very nice.

As a vendor for America's Home Place, they are such a great company to work for. Everyone that I have come in contact with has been so polite and easy to talk to. When you see a company that is easy to work with, I can only image how great they would be to work with when building a home.

A give back to the community group. This group catered breakfast for our first day back to in service at Santa Fe HS. He came and prayed with us and they were a very nice group.

Best customer service around here, period. Exceeded expectations and has amazing communication skills. Incredibly happy to have them by our side building our home. 5/5!

My husband and I are building our dream home on our property and the team here at America's Best has been amazing and words can not describe how much of a God send Lowell was to our family. The passion that Lowell and his team have for making our dream become a reality was astounding. America's Best took my envision for my house and made it my home. Everyone was overwhelmingly helpful, I couldn't be more comfortable. Starting out with the designers was great, I did want to use some of my own trades, but they have a great system in place. I don't want to be the one to rock the boat. the showroom is awesome. I dont feel like I am in a used car lot. We will be ready in the next 4-6 months, but when its all said, I have found the group who is going to build our new home! Thank you Lowell!

I love Americas home place. Since we walked in the doors we were instantly treated like family by Mr.Tim, his amazing talent in drawing the additions to the house plans had us feeling happy and excited about making our home with this company. We have just completed the color selections for our new home and with the help of Ms. Brandi Carr we created a masterpiece of what we will call our home. Brandi took her time and showed us various colors and let us choose the way we wanted our house. She was patient and helped us when we couldn't get the colors to blend together. Her amazing talent in color coordination helped us to envision how beautiful our home will look in the end results. Thanks Brandi and Mr.Tim hope to get to the next step soon.

We are just in the beginning stages of closing on the construction loan, so I am making a review thus far and will return with an update review after all is said and done.
I would like to say that they are very professional, spiritual, and care about their clients. When we came into the Alvin office Christine took us under her wing and helped us every step of the way. She treated us just like we were family. Unbeknownst to her at the time we walked in I was to the point of giving up on the whole building process, due to previous home builders chaotic unprofessionalism. She saved my dream of having a custom home!!! Lowell is top notch, caring & very professional. I thank God for leading us to them!!!

James and Lowell are amazing to work with. We were already home owners who needed to do major repairs on our house. We had gotten several bids for the repairs, had shopped around at other builders and found that America's Home Place was our best option. I couldn't ask for a better team to work with. Communication and attention to detail is the best. I've personally spoken with several of their homeowners during the construction process and have never heard one negative thing. Besides putting together a stellar team at the office, they have really put together a great team of suppliers and contractors who definitely understand the importance of meeting and exceeding expectations.

Working with Americas Home Place is truly like working with family. From start to finish, their entire process is aimed at providing the best possible home to their customers. This is partly accomplished by treating their trades as a part of the AHP team which is a rarity in this industry. The end result provides an attention to detail in every aspect of the home from start to finish which is seldom found elsewhere. AHP homes are built with CARE and not simply constructed for mass volume.

As a supplier, could not ask for a better group to work with. Tracy keeps us posted on progress of projects so we are able to schedule product deliveries. When first looking into building my husband and I had know clue on what to look for or what the process was, but American's Home Place helped out with everything from the planning to how long it would take. Mr. Pinnock went above and beyond with our questions and our concerns. He did not pressure my husband and me into anything and they are willing to work with your budget. I recommend America's Home Place to anyone.

Be careful giving them your info. I decided against this place prior to even walking in the door. Signed up to only receive a copy of their floor plans to see what they had nothing else. Within not even 30 minutes of sending that in they called. No biggie, but was at work so no body answered. So they start blowing up the phone in text messages immediately after saying I need to come in that same day for an appointment. Asking where I want to build, what lot I own if any, and how they can't find I own any property in Galveston. It went from no appointments accepted after 5 to all the sudden they have a appoint at 5:15 that day available. After asking them to stop texting they apologize, and now a new person has started the texting all over again!! if they're this pushy when you ask for a book and barely respond to any of their messages I can only imagine how it would be if I were to go in.

I have known Tracy for thirty three years now, been married to him for thirty one...... He is a wonderful man, and a man of his word.... He takes PRIDE in his work, and he makes sure that when a house is done, he can turn it over to the homeowners knowing that it s done as close to Perfection as Possible.... He is also proud to be working with a company such as America s Home Place! What a great combination! Now you might think I m saying this because he s my husband, well I know how he operates because he was my Boss when we first met!!! I did not visit this place for their service, rather for a position of employment. I wanted to share this because it has been the best and most thorough interview process I've ever experienced. The staff was kind and greeted me not knowing who I was, offered refreshments too.

What was impressive about the interview is the involvement management took in it. The depth of attention in the process. And more than anything, it shows how much the company seeks individuals who are fit for the position instead of people who simply qualify for the position.

I really appreciate such efforts regardless of being hired or not by the company.

I am the project manager for Americas Home Place in Alvin. I have been building since 1983. I have worked for several home builders in my 36 years but I can truly say this company cares about doing the right thing for it's customers. And they believe in building relationships with their buyers.

I cannot say enough good things about Americas Home Place. We broke ground on our new home April 10th of this year. At this point on June 20th, we already have our cabinets installed in our new house. Delays have been minimal if any. Their construction manager, Tracy is ahead of all of the subcontractors. He has material for them on-site prior to their arrival so delays are virtually non-existent. Our estimated completion date is the beginning of August.

Detail and quality is the standard operating procedure with these guys. I don't know exactly how much of their components are built in the USA, but I would say 90% to 100%.

The engineering and construction of these homes are phenomenal. I highly recommend anyone that is considering a new home to give Americas Home Place a chance to provide them with their own Dream Home.

My wife and I have been trying to get a house built on my land since 2006. Tried different house plans and builders, including overseeing the construction process myself. Also considered many different manufactured homes, modular homes, and even another barndumenium. After getting "sticker" shock from quotes to build my last set of aquired house plans, I checked out America's Home Place's website, based on my wife's suggestion. I found a plan that had the features I wanted for a reasonable price. I was looking for a builder that would "hold my hand" and reduce the "headaches" of building a house and Alvin AHP did just that. I was looking for quality and attractive materials, inside and out, and Alvin AHP had that covered. I was looking for a builder who could be adaptive and mature enough to handle unforeseen issues that would arise, and Alvin AHP handled that. There were a couple of construction quality issues that occurred, that were more the subcontractors fault than Alvin AHP. But Tracy Grier and Lowell Pinock, of Alvin AHP, worked to try mitigate my, and my wife's, worries concerning these quality issues. Overall I am highly satisfied with my new home and recommend Alvin AHP for anyone looking to build on their property.

The process to build a custom home took a little over 10 years for our family from start to finish. We decided to work with America's Home Place after about 8 years of delays for various reasons and we have no complaints. There were some employee turnover as other reviewers have mentioned but Tracy and Deanna were extremely professional, our home stayed on track through the transition, and I'm sure Lowell's arrival was welcomed by everyone including me. Our house, built by America's Home Place in Galveston was just completed in March 2016. We could not be happier with the product or the process. This is the fourth house we have lived in, and the 3rd house we have had a part in the building process, but the first time having someone else do all of the building yet with so much input into making it a custom home. Previously, we purchased a Lennar home that had not yet been built, and our involvement was extremely limited, and the workmanship and communication was very hands-off and basically lacking. Our 2nd project was a nighmare. But finally, this time, we chose Americas Home Place to build our dream home, our forever home. And we made the right choice. The communication was excellent, everything is in writing so that there are no questions later, everything being discussed and decided up front, before the project ever even starts. We had a huge say in so many of the details (again up-front), and we were able to pick out a home plan that existed, yet make many changes to make it our own (at a minimal cost). The building process was excellent, and the site superintendent (Tracy) was present and available all the time, ensuring quality of the work. The professionalism and friendliness of all of the staff that we worked with at America's Home Place was excellent, and we now consider all of them our friends. I would definitely recommend using them to any of my close friends or family, and if I had to build again, I would use them again without hesitation.

Our general contractor, Mark Holley was fantastic. He was on top of everything and construction moved very timely. The quality of our home is outstanding, and we are still extremely pleased with the construction. Highly recommend America's Home Place.
