My nephews love amazement square! It seemed really crowded with camps this day. My suggestion would be to have camps come on certain days of the week, and the public the other. Or atleast let the public know what days the camps will be there.

Low cost, big entertainment with a scientific base for young kids. Insane indoor playground and neat history and technology toys and exhibits. If you are in the area and have kids under 10 make this happen.

Absolutely phenomenal place to take your children. Interesting educational sites for them to engage and learn a number of fundamental topics. Even a playground in the center of the building that reaches all four stories of the building

Great for the kids. My kids love climbing from floor to floor through the maze. They always have events. If you can afford to become a member because it is so worth it if you have kids. My kids go all the time and get discounts on major events around the holidays. The thing I love is of course May the 4th Starwars Day event held every year. I can't say enough great things about this place. The staff are friendly and help promote learning on so many levels.

The kids always enjoy visiting Amazement Square. They're aged 11yrs - 6yrs and everyone finds enough fun things to keep them busy. But as a parent, it's very easy to lose your kids though any of the tubes, slides, and multiple levels. And that ALWAYS makes me nervous.

The only thing that could make this better is if it were better sectioned off for smaller children. they do have an area for smaller children but the rest of the building is for older kids (4 and up). With open staircases, etc you can't take your eyes off the smaller ones.

We traveled day and night by donkey , only to find a place in the middle of nowhere that read Amazement Square. I pleaded to the clerk to let me and my about to be born child to take shelter in the establishment but instead they turned us down and we had to settle for a manger.

It's closed on Monday! i wish we could have gotten in.I gave it 4 stars because just the bug and piano entertained my boys for a good 20 minutes. The outdoor piano is very cool as well as the bug sculptures.

Areas for all ages. I recommend checking the website before going to see if there is a field trip planned for when you are going. Sometimes it's a bit overwhelming for small children if there is a large group of school aged kids. However there is a room on the 3rd floor that's gated and only for children under 3 years old, great place for new moms (parenting books, pillows, nursing) and babies (shoes off, mirrors, and sensory experiences)

We decided to check this place out with our kids and they loved it! Lots of different fun exhibits for all ages. Be ready to climb, because there are tunnels and slides that go from the top to the bottom of the building! There are several huge picnic tables outside that are in a shady spot, which was a great area to eat our picnic lunch! They have a room in the farm area for mothers to feed and change their baby, which I think is great!

Amazement square stays true to it's name. A great place for the family on a summer day. Nestled right in the heart of historic Lynchburg, the surrounding area is rich with the cities' history of the old railroad.

There is so much for your children to do it s hard to keep up with. You can let your child just go have fun, but you need to keep an eye on them. It s easy to loose them in the play tunnels. Never fails a parent looses there kid in those tunnels. If you haven t been check it out. All the levels..

Such a cool place for kids! My toddler had a blast & we'll definitely be back. It's a little pricey, but the membership looks like a good option if you're planning to go a few times a year. I like that there are so many options for different ages & it provides very hands-on learning.

This place did not live up to expectations. At first it seems like an overwhelming amount of activities and things to look at, but it does not take long to look at everything and become bored. I would recommend this place to parents of young children but not for older kids.

Excellent place to take kids. We have a 4 year old and it's worth it for us to get the yearly membership. Having a membership gets you a discount on Birthday parties there too. We love having the kids birthday parties there.
