My wife and I have been dancing with Fred Astaire Studios in Suger Land for about six years. We started dancing with a view to spending more time together and cultivating a common interest. Though not without the trials most businesses face, we have thoroughly enjoyed the studio from the manager to the instructors to the receptionist. It is a pleasant, yet challenging, place to be with a staff that supports us in a number of ways and has helped us to not only meet our original purpose but much more.

My experience with the Fred Astaire Dance Studios was a very good one. All of the instructors were very personable and very talented. Even if you are a bit shy, they take the uncomfortableness out of the equation. If you are looking for great dance instruction, this studio would be a great one to go to.

This was our first time at FA. My husband and I wanted to try it out for fun. I have an aunt that does competitive dancing with FA as a hobby. I saw her dance at the competition recently and fell in love. It has been years since I ve danced and I miss it. Anyway, my husband can dance, but can t find the beat. He did well though, thanks to our teacher, Aaron Vu! I was nervous about going because I m plus size. I was concerned about the attitude towards size. NOPE, everyone was incredibly friendly and professional. My nerves went away as soon as I took that first step in our dancing lesson. We will be back later in the summer for more classes. It is a little pricy for our liking, but I d highly recommend it if money isn t a concern. I wish they had cheaper packages or discount for teachers.

Our dance instructor Jocelyn was awesome. She instructed us effectively and taught so much within the short time spent there. Definitely recommend them for dancing lessons.

Alex was great! My husband and I went for a sample lesson and had a wonderful time. It was easy to learn some basic ballroom dance moves as Alex made us feel very comfortable. Loved the studio and the staff. I would definitely recommend especially if you live in the area.

Way too much sales going on and not enough dancing. I bought two 30 min dance lessons as an intro, but the lessons were only about 20 minutes and there was another 15 minutes each time of sales. I wanted the intro to see if I liked it, but the pushy sales tactics turned me off completely!

Great environment for learning and practice American Dancing. Experienced dance instructors teach different dances. I really enjoy progressively learning moves of different types of dances like swing, Cha Cha, salsa, waltz etc.

The time I had at the studio was instructive and fun. Jordy is a great teacher and I plan on returning after my recovery.

Great instructors and very responsive staff/management. Their expertice and patience have made this experience very enjoyable and we highly recommend this business to all!

I didn't know what to expect when I started taking dance lessons at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Sugarland. I was assigned a very good instructor. My dance instructor is helping me elevate my dancing to new heights. A relaxed environment to learn how to dance

Love love loved our experience at Fed Astaire! My son and I had a couple of lessons with great instructors. We learned just enough to get us started but will definitely go back for more.

I love dancing at FADS in Sugar Land. Besides being more fun than I ever imagined, it is great exercise and the instructors are absolutely the best the world has to offer! Love them all.

I love the instructors! They are extremely competent, caring, and enthusiastic about sharing their love of dance!

I call it my Happy place the people are just wonderful everyone makes you feel like you are very importmnt the instructors are just super great teachers and I know and feel my dancing has greatly improved I love going there and feel like it s just an extension of my family I I go for group classes 3 or 4 times a week and have a private lesson once a weekk just love it I have been going almost a year now and hope as long as I can I will continue I Judy love Fred Astaire Dance studio. ( my HAPPY PlACE). I f you want to learn to dance this is the place to learn.

Horrible. My fiance and I tried to go to Fred Astaire to help with our first dance at our wedding. They cancelled twice before we even had our first lesson and both times was not told until less than two hours before our lesson time. Horrible customer relationship, terrible communication, disrespectful, and unprofessional.

My husband and I decided to go on a spur of the moment. They were able to work with our schedules and we took the introductory private classes. We got paired up with Yvette. She was a lot of fun to work with. She is very personable and professional. She made the lesson very easy and made us feel very comfortable. I would recommend her to anyone. We're thinking about doing some of their group classes in the future.

Very professional instructors! Loved the dance lessons!

Aaron Vo and Yvette Vo are wonderful instructors. My husband and I have really enjoyed our lessons at Fred Astaire and encourage others to learn from these professionals. We started lessons in anticipation of our son s wedding and wish we had taken lessons many years ago.

Great place to learn to dance. They have a lot of patience and the students have a lot of fun.

Yvette Pardo is our dance instructor and we're currently getting ready for our wedding dance. She is super nice and welcoming. I was apprehensive about doing a class but after our intro lesson I knew this was the right thing to do. She is understanding, explains well and very passionate about teaching dance. Definitely worth doing the classes if your thinking about your wedding dance. Alexis is also awesome, we called last minute and I left a message to cancel or reschedule, he was prompt and I appreciate that! Everyone there is awesome!

I love my sugar land studio. I have learned a lot from being there for 2 1/2 years. EXCELLENT staff.

(biased opinion because I've been coming for a while now) Really enjoying the experience. The instructors are great teachers and can range from fun dancing to intensely technical dancing depending on what you want to learn.

Personally, I find it challenging in both frustrating and joyful ways. Frustrating because the simplest moves can be quite difficult. Incredibly joyful because after those 3-8 private lessons, I feel like I can pull that move out in both competitive and social settings.

What makes this place special in my heart is the family feel of students and instructors. Chatting with all the students about anything ranging from work to their newborn grandchildren, there's a real sense of camaraderie. The instructors facilitate fun and relaxing social events that help us break out of our shy-ness of dancing with other students. And they know how to have fun yet keep a professional demeanor which is very respectable.

Overall, I'd recommend this place if you're looking for a fun date night or want to try something new and different.
