Nice atmosphere ,customer service quick to resolve room issues

Nice place for vacation. Nearby premises under construction, hence day time is slightly noisy.

Tranquil place, several pools around the resort. A short walk down the road leads to the beach. Nice place to get away from the city.

I used Eatigo and got 50% off eating here. The food was great and it was nice and quiet cos this place in very hard to find!

I've only attended a wedding event and the place event hall is classy and very well done. Food served was tasted good too. They provide shuttle bus services in and out of the resort to the nearest MRT station so for those relying on public transport all is good.

Stayed at Sanctuary Amara yesterday with my wife. How it ever got a rating as a 5 Star Hotel is puzzling. It's at the most a 3 Star Hotel.

The room though spacious is very dated with some parts of furniture dropping off.

Bathroom is very dirty with scums on the wall and floor is dirty with stains. Also the lever that controls the Hand Shower and Rain Shower was missing.

We were given discount vouchers to use. When we presented our voucher at the restaurant when we were settling our bill , we were told that its not valid for their Set lunches - this was not told to us when the vouchers were given.

We also had a bad experience with their shuttle service when returning from Harbourfront pickup point. We waited for the 10pm pickup which did not arrive. After repeated calls to the hotel the shuttle bus finally came at 10.30pm.

The only compliment I have is that their counter staff were very polite and the food at the restaurant was pretty good.

I would not recommend anyone staying at the hotel. I think there are better hotels in Sentosa that is worth staying.

Reception staffs are friendly . However, rooms are really badly maintained. Sink seems to be choked, everywhere is dusty. Windows have not been clean for along time and there are alot of stains around the place. The pools are abandoned 24/7 because of the fallen leaves and dirty decks. Definitely not a 5 star worth hotel as it feels like living in a attap kampong house. It could have been a nice place if higher standards of maintenance is in place.

Nice quiet place for dinner. Had a hard plastic in the pineapple cut fruits and informed the service manager. They were really nice and offered to replace it and apologise for the entire experience. Kudos to them for trying their best!

Haven't even booked and reservations staff (Jia) damn rude. Ask if got promotion for Pampered Paws package as normal room rate is only $368++ but the package is a whopping $520++ her reply, raising her stupid cb voice is "WHAT DO YOU MEAN? THIS IS THE PACKAGE LORH!". Please. If dunno how to sell, don't do sales. Somemore I was looking at booking 2 nights. Seems like Capella staff are much nicer and professional. Oh well. Nothing lost, a lot gained =)

Function hall is big and new . Good lighting and excellent sound system. It's within sentosa so travelling is not an issue. They have a few peacocks running around. That was nice to watch. However food is super horrible. For a establishment as big as them even the pastries are very limited.

Great environment for seminars and events. Tropical vibe and attentive staff. Ballroom is a little old and tired. Food is OK.

Good food and service. Ambience is suitable for courting couples. Staff is very attentive.
Ample parking but it's a bit far to the restaurant.

The experience was not as advertised. We stayed the suites with direct access to the pool. For such an expensive price, the experience was more than disappointing.

- The resort is severely understaffed
- Multiple calls to concierge and room service is not picked up.
- 2 hours wait for a butter knife request, that eventually failed to turn up
- Was informed last room order for room service was 10pm but restaurant closed before 930pm.
- Leaking bathtub, led to a mini flood in our outdoor deck area
- Broken doors
- Faulty TV, no sounds with occasional blackout

I may give it a second chance if the resort goes through a thorough maintenance. Overall, an underwhelming stay.

Clean and peaceful surrounding. The jacuzzi is a hit with the kids! Friendly staff :)

Very picturesque. Secluded and private, great for honeymooners.

Stayed a night in its 1 bedroom villa in Dec 2018.
Cons:
Cushions in the room were stained. In general, the furnitures of the facility look worn.
Debris were seen floating in the pool when we used it.
The room and living room were disconnected which made it hard for us to enjoy the facility as one unit because we had to walk to and fro.
Extremely noisy because we were given a unit near the the USS, so we hear the tracks and visitors screaming on rides.

Not visiting again unless this place is refurbished.

Still as charming as before. Friendly staffs. Easy to access, good and well maintained rooms and facilities. Amazing pools available, though the numbers are controlled, due to Covid-19. Good parking area. You will be thrilled by the ever show off peacock (good for a snap). Walk around it and the view is amazing, green on one side for calmness and well maintained and clean path on the other side.

Spacious but old hotel, u can see its getting aged. And need improvement.

Attended a formal event, place was set up very nicely and staff were friendly throughout the entire dining in.

Lovely place but their aircon is not strong. Also the pool is a disappointment.

A secret little place filled with the beauty of nature. Wake up to the call of peacocks and bask in the sun in the pool just outside your room. Perfect for couples!

Stayed in the deluxe room , went there taking the shuttle bus from vivocity which the hotel provided for us . The checking in was a breeze , the room view is amazing facing the sea . Definitely would visit again

The resort is on the island of Sentosa. The resort has multiple types of rooms which will be able to cater for different groups of people and needs. It is rather accessible with its own free shuttle bus service. Some of the rooms are converted from historic buildings but meets the modern living. The resort services are fantastic.

Beautiful villa! Am a returning guest. I've also stayed in their normal rooms before. They are lovely as well! The pool has a gorgeous view, perfect for taking photos! Buffet breakfast with lots of choices and the staff are helpful and friendly!

I try to call hotel to ask about the sentonsa for staycation - on the other attraction park in Sentosa, the staff just said that's not under their hotel facilities, they not known anything. i feel like if a good hotel staff is unaware of the environment surrounding issue, especially new info for the COVID situation, we'll just anticipate huge disappointment only

Charming place! Great for a relaxing get-away from the chaos of modern city living.

I booked a deluxe room as a birthday surprise and arranged for the hotel to make simple decorations for the room about a month before checking in. It was agreed upon in an email exchange and they also promised to throw in a birthday cake as well.

Upon checking in unfortunately, there wasn t any decorations made to the room and it was bare. Toilet was not functioning properly and requested for a change of room.

Was given another room but there was some damages in the bathroom that wasn t rectified probably due to lack of maintenance manpower caused by COVID-19.

Special thanks to Manager William Fong who was kind enough to arrange for us with a room upgrade. William was attentive and apologetic for the damages found in the previous 2 rooms mentioned.

All staff were friendly and willing to help when needed. Breakfast ala carte buffet was decent at Shutters Restaurant.

Facilities were not too bad and their infinity sky pool was great. Security was prompt in ensuring that the pool was compliant with the COVID-19 social distancing measures. Guests who were using the pool without any reservations were advised to leave the facility and to make necessary reservation for pool usage.

Overall, the stay was decent thanks to all the staff that made it an enjoyable and pleasant stay for us.

Resort is beautiful. Not so big though.
Staffs are lazy and uncourteous. Don't know what makes them so sad and grumpy.
I guess this shall be worst resort in Santosa.

The room is big and clean. Service was good too but they adhere pretty strictly to the check in time of 3pm.

Rooms are big but looking a bit tired. For example our fridge barely worked. The free shuttle to VivoCity/HarbourFront was handy for getting into the city. Overall the hotel was fine for a short stay in Sentosa, but I wouldn't stay here if you plan on going to the city much. Luckily we only came for a trip to Universal Studios and will be moving to a different hotel in the city.

A pretty property in Sentosa, just a hop away from universal studios. Calm, clean, green and frequented by peacock families too.

Mouldy shower/bathroom. Expensive bar. Small pool area. No cocktail/bar service before 2pm. Breakfast runs out of food. Avoid.

3 stars for a 5 star hotel. Overall was a clean room but the room was quite run down and not that well maintained. TV channels were minimal, fridge was not cold and breakfast buffet was extremely mediocre in comparison to other 5 star hotels. Pool was nice and linen was good.

Horrendous service n facilities. Complete waste of money. The only plus features were the external surroundings, which gave me a positive impression. The rooms were filthy n badly maintained. Stained toilets, fungus on lamps, smelly pillows. Just two years ago I had such a wonderful experience. Tragic that it's gone awful.

Attended a company event at the hotel's outlet and had a great experience. Staff were polite, efficient and attentive.

Hotel is a bit run down for its price. Moreover the place was not cleaned well as some places like inside the lift was dirty. Transportation in and out to resorts world is also horrible as there is only one bus with a long waiting time during off peak. The outdoor poor is however a little dirty but still nice.

Overnight stay at hotel was enjoyable; only gripes were hairdryer was not very user friendly and hot water from tap and shower took a while to heat up

Not only have I stayed there, I have booked this venue as my wedding in 2017! The sales team is amazing, providing personal and lovely service for both my finance and me. If you are thinking of a place to hold your big day! Please do consider this place!

Really lovely hotel, rooms are clean, moderns nd spacious. Beautiful views from the hotel and the bus service offered is so handy.

My wife and I stay one night at amara sanctuary resort. Overall, the stay was pleasant and we enjoyed our night in the resort.
However, we are unable to enjoy our room due to the sewage smell coming from the bathroom. It didn't went away after the technican came 3 times. In the end, we try to avoid the bathroom as much as possible in order to enjoy our stay.

The hotel is amazing, it's a serene area with great location, perfect for relaxing

Reminiscent of Tanjung Jara Resort in Trengganu. Well kept gardens. A couple of colonial buildings and WW2 bomb shelters.

Rooms are a bit old but the rustic surrounding is absolutely nice.

Impeccable service. Staffs are always there to help. A sanctuary indeed.

We booked the room which has a direct access to an infinity pool. It has a nice open concept bathroom with tub and pool bed facing the pool. The bed is nice and comfy... Slept for more than 8 hours. Surrounded by trees, it doesn't feel like I'm still in the city so it's great for a staycation. But the hotel restaurant is just okay... Wasn't too excited with the food. Does the job.
